She certainly doesn’t expect them to be sex-on-legs gorgeous and determined to fulfill her number one sexual fantasy. They not only awaken her slumbering body, but also her creativity and the life she used to wield with her brushes.

However, Meg carries a secret of her own which holds her back from surrendering herself fully to their desires. Will Trevor and Jack be able to overcome her reservations, or will the truth of her past ruin their chance for love?

The Mary Sue is strong with this one.

Despite the fact that this particular Mary Sue ditched the condoms and went straight to the DP without passing "go" or collecting $200 I was still strangely not impressed with the shilly shallying. Then again, my idea of some face-fanning Pound Town adventures entails more than a firehose for a lady garden.

Down her thighs? C'mon man!

But that's just me.

This was... rough. Took me forever to finish cuz I really did not want to pick it back up. There were just so many things that I strongly disliked: the writing, the MC, the reason for the indecision/pushback, the "gushing" and "soaked through"... I could go on.

I have some quotes/notes but I am just done with this. I'll probably go through them when I'm off work and might add some but... Done.

Extremely disappointing.

This hot little story by Lynn Burke is sure to set you on fire. Trevor and Jack are together and have been for years. When they see Meg, they know she will complete them, but Meg has issues with threesomes. She resists them at first but with her friends encouragement, she gives in to "one" night of pleasure between the guys. That turns into more nights but she still tells herself she can walk away! Can she? I love the setting and the fact that all three are into creating art! Meg has lost her passion for painting but finds it again with Trevor and Jack. When Meg finds out the truth about her parents, will she change her mind about the guys. Just do yourself a favor and get this book. It's a quick read, it's hot and you'll love it!

Meg is dealing with not only the loss of her mother but the loss of her sense of safety. So a mini vacation with her besties couldn't come at a better time. Maybe she can find her muse and acceptance of her loss. She never expected to find Jack and Trevor. But can she accept what the men are trying to give her?
I really enjoyed this story by Lynn Burke. Meg has a bucket list and having two men is top of the list or at least it use to be. But her desire has to fight with her guilt over something that destroyed her mother. I love that Ms. Burke allowed us to see Meg's struggle. I love that Jack and Trevor are in a committed relationship but Meg willing to add to it for the right woman. Is Meg that woman? The chemistry between Jack, Trevor and Meg is obvious in this story. I love that Jack and Trevor understand Meg. Not only what she is struggling with both professionally and personally. I love that both men are willing to give Meg what she asks for even if it is painful. I love the friendship between Meg and her besties. I love that they hold her accountable even as the push her to be more. This story is an enjoyable read and I look forward to seeing where Ms. Burke will take us next in this world she is creating.

Meg Winters and her two friends are off for a much-needed vacation. Their art studio was just vandalized, and all Meg's artworks were lost. As if that weren't enough, her mother who had been having drug and alcohol problems, dies in a car accident. Meg wants to start painting again, but she's too destroyed inside to even start. But the vacation house has a surprise - two neighbors, two hot men, who obviously flash on her. Her freinds tease her, knowing that one of Meg's biggest fantasies is to be in bed with two men at the same time. Trevor and Jack are obviously in love, but they make sure Meg knows they are interested in her as well. Encouraged by her freinds, and by Jack and Trevor, Meg agrees to onenight of fantasy. But how can you stop when it's all too good? Jack and Trevor want to make it a lasting relationship, however, Meg has to resolve a huge problem in her own family in order to move on - and she has no idea where to start. This was a fast, hot read with lots of sizzling sex. A great read to heat you up on a cold night, especially if your fantasy is two guys and a gal. Go for it!

Meg and her friends Mindy and Kayla are off on a getaway in the mountains for a weekend. Their studio has been vandalized and each has some personal issues they're dealing with. Meg's own issues are particularly distressing - her mother recently passed, and she has a troubled relationship with her father because of their own issues. When she meets the two hotties who are vacationing next door, her body so wants to tick off one of her bucket list items - to have a threesome. But, when she realizes the men are gay, she knows her fantasy will never come true, or will it? Trevor and Jack are immediately attracted to the beautiful but guarded Meg. Will they be able to convince her to spend some time in their bed with them or will Meg's views and issues regarding male homosexuality and bisexuality keep the three of them from being together?

I'm pleased to find that I enjoyed this installment of the Sandy Ridge series much more than I did the second installment, Without Hesitation. Meg, Trevor and Jack are all likable characters and their emotional and physical connection is believably strong, even within such a short time span. I liked uncovering Meg's issues and what drove her to be so guarded. I wish there had been more of a backstory about the two men, but I think they were basically in the story as a foil for Meg, which is OK, but I feel like had there backstory been more fleshed out, their triad would have been more balanced. Aside from that issue, though, I really liked Without Reservation. It's seriously sexy, it's well-paced, and all three characters have a great connection. Just the kind of ménage I like best.

Now don’t get me wrong - at no point did I think this book would be good literature, but it’s not even good smut.

I also felt affronted by the sudden change in the lead character’s dietary requirements, going from mentioning being gluten free every other page to suddenly devouring a stack of fresh toast without a second thought. Does her struggle with celiac disease represent her trauma melting away as she joins her polyamorous bisexual relationship? I think the fact I noticed that in a smut book is proof it wasn’t very good.

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Meg and her two friends are devastated when their art studio is brutally vandalized, destroying all their artwork and supplies. So they decide to take a week long vacation to get away from the stress of it.

The cabin they're renting is in a nice quiet area called Sandy Ridge. It's pretty secluded, except for another neighboring cabin.

Their temporary neighbors are two very handsome men who are together but seem to both have an interest in pursuing Meg too. She's intrigued by a threesome with them, but hesitant due to her parents' marriage being destroyed after having a threesome.

REVIEW:

I enjoyed this one for the most part.

I liked the chemistry between Meg, Trevor, and Jack. The steam was great and I enjoyed their interactions together. I also loved that they are all artists (specifically painters). So cool they have that in common.

There were a couple things I didn't like.

First off, I didn't particularly like her friends. Mindy is kind of self-absorbed and pushy. Kayla is a little better, but pretty spoiled and materialistic. I also hated that they constantly call each other "bitch". I realize some friends use that as a nickname for each other, but it was way overdone and frequent and it just got annoying.

The other thing that bugged me a bit was Meg's reservations. I realize that's the name of the book! lol While her reasoning made some sense at first, it was also was a little weak since it was a totally different situation. She just seemed like she unnecessarily pushed them away.

But overall I liked the three of them together. The sex was hot and I felt a real connection between them. Loved that Trevor and Jack have known each other for so long (since Kindergarten) and have been together for so long too (for eight years).

I don't think I'll read the other two books in the series though. They aren't menages, first of all. And also I didn't really like Mindy or Kayla so I don't want to read their books.

This romance came through and I flew through it!!! I couldn't put it down, the romance worked so well, the chemistry was there, and there was build up between them, I liked Trevor and Jack as an established couple a lot - you could see their strengths and love for each other - and then their attraction to Meg was well done, and I liked the connection through art, and her searching for that spark back from her grief, and then there was just also a bit of angst, not too much, but a nice amount!!!
Also surprisingly I loved the friend group, they developed well, they each got their personality, and both Kayla and Mindy were good soundboards to Meg, they were supportive, but also pushy when they needed to be and understandable, and I truly get why this series continues to have a book for each of them (straight romances are not my thing, so going to leave that not for me). Besides the friends, I always love the exploration of family and grief, and I liked the wrapping up and conclusion there - it was sweet and tender, and I wanted more of it!!!
Now I'll also say I'm so surprised I liked this, because the start did not work for me, it jumped way too fast into sexual attraction, which I didn't appreciate, but it does take a step back after and it does allow that slow build both with Meg, Trevor and Jack, but also showing why Meg, Mindy and Kayla are friends.
On the other hand, my bigger problem with this, that frustrated me a lot, as how this was very much written as "fantasy threesome" idea, and not actual polyamory rep I wanted - though I'll say I like the trying to deconstruct with Meg this idea that relationships between more than two people cannot work - there were just a lot of conversations that should have been had, before jumping into things - people need to talk things through!!! Just yeah, that bothered me, and I've gotten into rants in my house now!!!
But really overall, I would recommend for a fun and light read, with good chemistry between the characters (and that's also free on Apple Books) :)

I received this book with the under standing that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Meg Winters, Trevor and Jack. Meg has had enough and just needs a break for a little while. She and her friends Mindy and Kayla own an art studio together. That was recently vandalized, she lost her job, and her mother was killed. She has had enough of the city and enough of her own life she just needed a get away little did she know what that get away would lead to. One look at both of them and something happens to Meg that hasn't happened in way to long. Can they find a HEA or will she just continue to drown in her pain?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Was surprised by the emotional depth. I mean it’s not meaningfully deep, but it was an interesting change from other half-baked and shallow romances who just shoehorn in “trauma” to make it more dramatic.
His had the right amount of emotion and it was also surprising, I was NOT expecting that kind of backstory and it was nice (even if in the end you didn’t see anymore of her dad and his partner after the hospital).
Also it was nice to see the male protagonists not throwing a shit fit when she got emotional cold feet and had the Fear. It was a nice change to all the Man Children I see in other books. There is a line (a BIG F-ing Line) between fighting for your partner to see passed their fear. And being upset and throwing a tantrum because your partner is scared and needs reassurance. They need your understanding not you yelling at them because they’re unsure. You PROVE yourself and stand by their side until they can see it clearly.

This is such a well written story. Meg has had trying times coming off the death of her mother and the vandalization of the art studio. seeking consolation, she and her besties take a vacation. She wasn't expecting to meet Jack and Trevor who just so happens to be well known figures in the art world and men that she secretly admires. When the three meet there is an instant connection. Although Jack and Trevor are in a committed relationship, they feel that Meg is the woman that can complete them, but Meg knows little about how a relationship like theirs would work and is skittish about it. Can Trevor and Jack get her to open her eyes to the possibilities of being with two men who could love her to no end?

Did not finish. I didn't expect much. I noticed it in my local library online selection. I thought I'd see if there was any plot in the smut. Sadly it managed to dive below the low bar. For someone whose "fantasy" is to be with two men. She's weirdly homophobic.
"Although the thought of two men together had always turned her stomach, "...

"The thought and sight of two men kissing had never turned her on before,"...

"Strangely, she didn't jump to inwardly judge them for their sexual preference as she'd done her whole life."

I don't get it. As long as there's a woman in the relationship it's not horrifying? No, nope, not interested.

HOTTT! (but the editing..)

I'm a big fan of this particular genre though believe this is my first time reading a book by this author. Well - written and I think my glasses are permanently fogged from steam! The only issue was finding several grammar and word-use errors right off the bat - two by page 7 - and a handful of others as the book progressed . They were pretty glaring so they took me out of the story for a bit.
I'll definitely read more of this author's books cause I did enjoy the story and writing style (and did I mention the steamy sex?!!! Hoooollllly moly!). Hopefully, the editing issues don't carry over.

A young painter who had lost her mom recently gets tangled in a Menagerie that ends in love

I loved the friendship of the 3 girls together who decided to vacation together in a cabin in the mountains...3 friends suffering from heartbreak, loss of love one and job koin eachother on a vacation. They were looking for a break from life.. this story centers around One whom is a painter. She gets caught up in staring at the Beautiful atmosphere and the neighbors who are very Handsome men.. needless to say there are dreamy steamy moments, hints of domineering and alpha, but mostly just smexy scenes.

Steamy

Meg has seen her art studio vandalised and her mother die, so she goes on a break with her friends. She meets two artists (Trevor and Jack) she admires and they show an instant interest in her, and not just her artistic skills.
They are a couple but want her too but Meg has a secret which means she will not commit to them.

Can they help her see things differently?

Written from Meg's perspective this is a good story. There are a few annoying errors and her friends are annoying but could forget them and concentrate on the steamy relationship between Meg and the men.

Meg and her friends go to Sandy Ridge Cove to regroup after respective losses. I feel like Meg lost more than the others, but I don't know Mindy or Kayla's stories yet. Sometimes you don't know what will ease your pain or heal your soul until you find it. Luckily with the help of Trevor and Jack, Meg finds the peace she longed for. The kind of hot love story I love. Can't wait to see what is in store for Mindy and Kayla at Sandy Ridge Cove.

Surprising

I was expecting bad grammar and sex galore, luckily I got a decently written sexy story instead.
Some things were very repetitive, irrational fears, and personally I don't understand walking around naked when you have roommates or your going to a friends house, but that just might be me and my insecurities.
The story existed and was fine, the characters had personalities and it was a good intro to the series.
I'm not sure if I will continue the series, but I might.

Ménage is….

Good! I love a good threesome and have to admit, it’s usually 2 guys who both like women. This was very well written and started with 2 guys who liked/loved each other. I have to say, I really liked it and I recommend this book. The guys liked girls, too. They just had never found one that turned them both on, that they could love, who would accept them as they were, that they could love. This book is it.

Trigger Warnings

Alcohol and DUI crash
Death of parent, suicide

This story about a woman finding her way through grief and pain, will touch you heart (unless you can't get past the bi-sexual parts). If you don't have triggers, can read the very steamy scenes then you'll enjoy this book. No typos were noticed, the book flowed beautifully, the plot was heart-wretching and healing. Read it in one straight sitting.

Meg met her favourite artists Jack and Trevor, while on holiday and managed to fulfill an item on her bucket list. Her fears led her to return home, where a secret she had been keeping, was explained and left her in another state of loss.
Lynn Burke has the ability to paint a picture with her words and you can fall into them with ease. This is a first in the Sandy Ridge Series and I look forward to reading the others.

A very entertaining and steamy read with strong characters. I loved the relationship between the two men and I liked how they set their sights on her and decided not to take no for an answer. This isn't the no means no. This is I want to explore but I'm afraid to say yes. The scenes were steamy. The storyline effective. The entertainment real.
