Voice Dialogue is a transformational tool for psychotherapists that is compatible with most psychotherapeutic systems. It is a particularly effective method for working directly with sub-personalities or complex systems. In this article, we will begin by discussing these sub-personalities in both their personal and mythic aspects. We will then briefly explore the mischief created by the disowning of these sub-personalities or by the over-identification with a single one. Next, we will introduce the Voice Dialogue method, give the guidelines for its use, and, finally, we will present clinical examples of the Dialogue in action.
