Jazz Improvisation Basics: Enclosures

Rate this book
I often refer to enclosures as the building blocks of bebop. As a young student of jazz, I would often practice tunes in the Charlie Parker Omnibook or transcribe Cannonball Adderley tunes without really analyzing what was going on within the solo. This book was written to shed some light on the bebop language and how to develop it.
