This is Book Two in the “Chris Ravello” medical mystery stories. We are back in the aftermath of Book One.
Former Detective Chris Ravello has lost his wife and his job. A debilitating disease is threatening to also take his life. His best friend, Detective Kevin Kennedy, continues to be his support. He also focuses on helping Chris, and letting Chris help him.
A possible trial cure for Chris has taken the lives of other “patients.” As Kennedy investigates he realizes the connection. Can Chris be saved? Will the perpetrator of this “cure” be caught? What will be the “Revelations?”
I enjoyed both books in this series. Someone from the past makes startling claims. Can a killer be used to catch a killer? Now to look forward to “Forbidden Cure 3: Sordid Aspirations.”

What did I like? This is an unbelievable, riveting book that is so hard to put down! It captured me the first time I read it and nothing has changed except it has REALLY gotten better. My heart hurts for Chris and the living hell that he is going through.
What will you like? Exciting is not strong enough, Riveting doesn’t spell it out and Unbelievable is just the tip of the iceberg. Chris and Kevin have a deadly game to play with an absolutely unthinkable sociopath that knows no limits to the hell he is creating for Chris. A deadly game that at this point has no end! What options do they have? NONE!!! Can’t wait for the next part…….

First, I want to thank William M Rubin for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
WOW!!! William M. Rubin Forbidden Cure 2 Revelations A Chris Ravello Medical Thriller fascinated me. I thought part one was good but WOW I was blown away by part 2. Even though it was a very short book it was jam packed with so much twists, turns and medical drama that left me dying for more!!
My heart totally ached for Irina Malekoviec whom was a patient of Dr. Hyslop’s whom died before her last Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment. She had been in remission for a long time but it had come six months ago. She was given this medication and died under the watch of this Dr. The NYPD Detectives wanted to question him on this. They even wanted to question the FDA regarding this. It was an incredibly exciting book that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I enjoyed the fact that there was a Christmas scene in the book. The way that scene was written was well done. It kind of gave me goose bumps as you don’t know what the future holds for Chris as he is looking at his family. A tear came to my eye as I prayed for him. I don’t think I would chance it.
William is an incredible writer with an eye for medical mystery/thriller fiction. He knows how to suck you into a story and captivate your attention til it is done. He also had me questioning what exactly are doctors prescribing and what is really in medications? Are they really safe? For Irina they weren’t.
If you are into medical fiction, crimes, mystery, thrillers, then this book is for you.

Excellent book but rather a cliff-hanger. I'm looking forward to what comes next in the series!
