Intimidating and living by a strong code of ethics, Table’s integrity is unwavering, as is his ironclad will when it comes to safeguarding those he cares about. He’s the man to guard your back, shelter you in time of need, and be the shield.

Just don’t ever lie to him.

Table’s life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly discovers he’s a dad. Trying to navigate his life as a single father to a baby girl, he takes a break from his Dragon Runners MC brothers, moving to the family farm.

When Table meets nomadic Lori, who trades work on the farm for rent, he’s as intrigued as he is wary. She’s a woman who wears her attitude like armor. And despite her fierce independence, Table can see the fear dancing in the shadows of her eyes. It’s enough to make him look that little bit closer.

With the support of his MC brothers, Table not only is reminded that family is more than blood, but that some women are just worth fighting for.

I liked the first book in the series, didn't think much of the second book and never read the third one after reading my friends review of it.

I had liked Table in the second book but didn't like his stupid nickname. Very awkward when reading it.

As with the other books before the heroine is with or has met the hero, she watches him have sex with another woman. In Table's case, he pulls up outside his Grandmother's home where he is living and has sex on the bonnet of a car with a woman. Going down on her and then having sex. The heroine Lori watches from her new 'apartment' and gets turned on.

It was obvious from the start that Lori is on the run or in hiding waiting for something to be resolved. Early on it is also obvious what the plot is. I found it really irritating that Table kept calling Lori 'baby girl'. He said it far too often. There wasn't much of a description of Lori. I started to get bored early on and admit to skimming but yet again as with the other books, they don't actually get together until near the end. The author is painting by numbers obviously.

I'm not sure if I will continue to read this authors books unless she can change things up a bit. Maybe write a longer book and have the couple get together a bit earlier in the story?

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
=========================
I read in one review that he has sex with ow after meeting the heroine ... no, it was before he met her.
She sees him fucking a woman before the two are introduced.
I think the scene was unnecessary, but the previous stories also had a scene where the heroine sees the hero having sex with others.
After meeting her he has no other woman.
The story has a bit of suspense and action as our heroine is hiding from her past.
It was a story ok.

I just loved this one.
Table is amazing and I just love how cute him and his daughter are.
I loved Lori she just made my heart melt in a couple of parts(all with Tables daughter Angel).
I'm kind of sad that this is the second last book in the series. Now on to Brick.

Pretty much the same as the other books. For me, I'm done with the series.

Table moved back home to his aunt's farm after his cheating ex-wife dropped his surprise baby off at the bar back in book 2 when he was on a date with Eva. His aunt's decide to rent out a room in their barn in exchange for the person helping around the house.
Lori is on the run from her abusive husband. Finding this little place to rent is cheap and perfect for her. Super, super, super slowly, Table and Lori go from friendship, kissing, kinda boyfriend/girlfriend, then a couple. Of course her past finally catches up with her and they turn to the club for help.

Nothing special about the book. Even though I liked Table, I didn't connect to these characters as much as I did the other ones in the previous books.

I'm not going to complete the series. For one, I don't care about the next character, and two - the books are too slow and not enough sex.

Let’s face it every woman needs someone like Table in her life. And I don’t mean the furniture. I mean big, bad biker type. His life was drastically changed by a girl, a tiny one with his eyes whose mother left her on the pool table and just walked out. After that she became his main focus and he had to leave his MC brothers in order to take her to his family and only stable place which meant the family farm. But he missed his brothers even though he hung with the local chapter and they were good guys too.
Another character of this story is Lori who takes jobs as she could for cash under the table because she doesn’t want any paper trail for her. Table’s grandmother rented an apartment over the garage in order to supplement the farm income which was perfect for Lori cause it was not near town. She didn't need formal agreements and she could work on the farm when her other jobs allowed to lessen the rent. It was perfect until Table came into picture cause the last thing she needed was a powerful male around so she tried to ignore him. Yet her past and her emotional distress didn’t let her hide her mixed feelings. She wondered if he was different and if yes in what ways because he saw her fear and he said that he wanted to help her. But after all can she trust him?
The Dragon Runners didn’t ride the straight and narrow yet they were pretty clean with their respect and protection of women. Lori needed help and somehow Table decided to give it to her. Of course as always there was more. And here there is another question is he can trust her? Do they have chance of having something together? There is definitely a pull but what he truly wanted was to settle and to be a family. Yet she wanted to still keep moving. She thought she had to keep moving but was she right? You need to read this book to find out.
I loved that even though Table had moved away his old MC family were still very much part of his life and they were there for him when his need was the greatest. It was lovely to catch back up with the Dragons and the previous couples in the series.

I think this book is my most favorite of all the series. There was a much darker aspect to this book that gave it that added depth. Add to this chemistry and passion between Table and Lori, the cute factor with Angel and the humor with his grandmother and you will get book I will definitely recommend it to you. Another great book in the series.

I really enjoy this authors series overall because the Mac stuff is there and you get that whole family feel from them, but also because the romance was a huge part. I like how Table and Lori were slow to start but once they fired up it was hot as son. I feel like some things were really fast paced but it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the story. I can’t wait to see what is going to come next from this series. I really did love seeing the other characters that we already loved from the first 3 books also. 4 stars #2OCCJD

This one's a little bit different from the rest of the series as it's not set in the Dragon's lair. Still, I enjoyed it AND learnt that you can fry a whole turkey! (thank you YouTube!)

This is by far my favorite of the Dragon Runners books. I LOVE Table. Love, love, love, love, love him. He's dark and broody, and even though he has a kid (I hate romance novels with kids in them), he's just perfect. He's so protective and strong and man, if he were a real person, I'd climb him like a tree.

While this book is darker than all the other Dragon Runners books, ML Nystrom does a great job with writing it. Some of the subject matter is very heavy, but Nystrom handles it amazingly. I can tell that she liked this story, because her writing just seemed to be...more than her previous books.

There should be a trigger warning due to scenes of domestic abuse.

And just so you all know, I've claimed Table as mine.

I really enjoyed this book and I have to say that Table has become my favorite of the bunch, he was so sweet and protective and a fabulous father and friend. Lori's story was sad but I respected how she got out of the situation that she was in. Her first reaction to Table was not cool but she apologized understanding that she screwed up and I had to give it to her, from what she had went thru she was scared and understandably so. I loved reading of the past characters and what they were doing and their growth. Loved Table and Lori's relationship and how they grew into it..Grab a copy and Enjoy! I can't wait for the next one, really hope this wasn't it.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..Voluntarily leaving my own opinions and views.

hmm mixed feels. Table (the H) is mentioned in book#2 of this series. Based on that scene I had expectations of what this story would focus on, a single man with a surprise new baby.... But, that isn't the storyline at all. Several months have passed, Table has a routine down, and the storyline is much more about h and her background. While I liked the storyline I feel like there is a 6-month storyline I'm missing.
This series is interesting, while the books are all titled based on the male main character... the female character is 90% of the voice, view, background in each book. The opposite of what the titles led me to expect. Good stories, and I'm off to read book #5 but def a touch confusing when I first opened one.

Table had me hooked in Stud’s book. He is caring and always tries to be his best. When Lori shows up to work, they don’t have the best meeting. She is running but he can’t figure out from what. These two are really great together and when trouble does come, he steps up and keeps her safe. Excellent writing with an awesome storyline.

This series is so darn good. It is full of brotherhood and loyalty and take no prisoners when the safety of the club and their family comes into play. It is heavy on relationship building and not just relying on sexy sizzle to keep the story flowing. That's refreshing.

It's nice to see Table get his happy after the blow he took in an earlier book. Lori deserved her new life and family after the horror of her previous life.

I have enjoyed this series more and more as I became so connected to the characters.

This is by far my favorite book of this series. I thought Table and Lori worked really well as a couple and I enjoyed their chemistry. The storyline offered a lot of drama, intensity and emotions. I thought this was a really good book. This is my truthful, voluntary review.

Focuses on Lori and Table this time.

A sweet read with minimal spice.

Could use more action (of the non-steamy kind).

Pretty good!

Another amazing story. I always wondered what happened to Table after he left with his daughter in Stud. And I wasn't disappointed. It had everything I wanted and more.

I loved Table, he is loyal, hardworking and caring. He loves his mc, and his family. He does everything to protect them.

I loved Lori, she is hardworking, sassy and quiet. She has a tough past, but tries to not let it get to her.

I can't wait for more.

OW stuff and inconsistency

My first and biggest complaint is that there's extremely intimate and detailed outside the relationship sex between the H and OW. And h sees it all. It is before they get together, but it's still gross and doesn't belong in a romance. And acts that intimate do not belong in casual encounters. And the poor h witnessed it all. The whole situation doesn't line up with how he was in Stud's book. With Eva, Table seemed like a really good guy. He was more or less noble and just seemed genuinely good. His entire character was inconsistent between that book and this one. It was startling and not what I hoped for from this book. There was a lot of good in this book, but I don't consider a book a real romance if it has outside the relationship sex or cheating in it, so it gets 1 star.

What happened? I loved "Mute", book 1 so much that I gave it 4 wonderful stars but this one, oh I hate to say this but, it was boring. I didn't like the second book either, called "Stud". And book 3, well, I can't even remember reading it, it made that little of an impression.

The story here dragged so much and it was repetitive. It needed to get into the action and the character's romance much quicker than it did. The writing is basic, I don't remember it being so basic in Mute. Maybe it was, maybe I enjoyed the story so much it hid the poor writing, I don't know. But what I do know is that this author has one hit for me and it was Mute. The other three books in this series just weren't food. I was bored. So disappointed.

Awesome

Awesome read. A woman in the run from an abusive ex and an alpha biker may not sound like the perfect couple but that's exactly what Table and Lori are. Great characters and an exciting story made this one great. Recommended w

(5 stars)

A wanderer needing to work cash in hand, Lori finds herself at Table's family farm exchanging labour for bed and breakfast. Table had moved back to his childhood home after finding out he had a baby girl, looking for the same kind of surroundings for his little Angel that he had himself, not realising he was leaving behind the only family he really needed in his club, the Dragon Runners MC. When Table meets Lori, he sees right through her; yes she may be prickly and independent but her eyes give her away showing she's scared and running from something or someone. Can Table get Lori to trust him enough to share her fears with him, and will he be able to do anything about whatever it is without the "brothers" he is finding he misses more and more?

I really enjoyed Table and Lori's story. In fact I've loved every book in this series so far and the way this author writes really drags me into the story. I hope this isn't the end of the series, maybe the new chapter needs some books, hint hint, but for now Table gets 5 stars from me.

(4.5 stars)

This is book four in the Dragon Runner's MC series, and just to get the maximum enjoyment out of this read, I suggest reading the previous books in the series. That just makes it easier knowing who the character's are and their background stories. Now, last we saw Table, his ex-wife had popped up at the club and left him a gift in the form of a baby that he had no clue had even been made. To make sure that his little Angel has the best possible life he can give her, Table actually moves back home to the farm where he was raised by his grandmother and great aunt. Now, Table's life is diapers, farming, and doing tattoo's in the evening. When the new tenant that his grandmother has brought in catches his eye, Table knows he is gonna have to approach her slowly. He can see that there is something not quite right in how she reacts when he is around, he is just going to have to be patient until she realizes that he can be trusted. But when her past comes back, will she trust Table enough to save her life?

I really liked this story, this has some really good drama and a bit of danger. Low on the naughty times, but given the plot of the story you kind of expect that to be low. I loved seeing the other couples come together in this story, and am really excited to see what's next. I give this 4.5 stars.

Something a little different this time around, or at least I am hoping this will work. I am writing a general consensus on what I loved about the series. I'll then add a small snippet for each book, but I am writing this as one review and will paste. I wanted to make sure that author received credit as I thoroughly enjoyed each book. I was afraid that I'd not take the time to write my thoughts if I wrote them individually.

I binge read the first four books of the Dragon Runners series within a matter of a couple days. There are actually five books, but I felt that the fifth one was more of a prequel. I wasn't really interested as it was on a different timeline.

Overall, I liked the mix of characters. Situated in a small town, the MC belongs to a tight knit community. Granted, The Lair (the clubhouse) sits on the outskirts, but the MC takes care of the town, and in exchange, the town is good to them. It just reminded me of the communities where everyone knows everyone else and their business.

Each story has one main couple, but all of the characters float in and out. Each book is interconnected, but I think I enjoyed that even more. It doesn't feel like you've lost a couple, as they still have updates to their story. It's not that much, but you do get to see their progression. The men are protective, and yet, the women can hold their own. It's a cohesive family unit, and that theme is reiterated over and over again. I really think that's what I found the most entertaining. They laugh, they cry, and they fight, but at the end of the day, they're still family. The bonds only get tighter as each story is told.

Table/Lori- When Table was first introduced, I didn't really care for his character. I realize that he had an awkward situation at the bar, but you don't leave your date even when your world is imploding. He lost points with me over that one. I am not sure if he regained them by the time I started his book. However, he soon became one of my favorites. He knows there's something up with Lori, but he's patient. He gains her trust and doesn't rush her to tell him all of her secrets. He just lets her know that when she's ready, he's there. It was everything that I loved about this book and his character in one moment. Lori needs a protector, and Table proves to her that she can lean on him.

Another fabulous read from one of my favourite series this year. Although this can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the series in order to fully understand the MC family.

After being made a single parent overnight, of a child he didn’t know existed, Table thought he had no choice but to go nomad and move back home to his grandmother’s farm, to get support with Angel, his baby. When his grandmother hires Lori to help with the farm, this starts a path of change for both Table and Lori.

Lori is in some way a nomad too, hiding from something but the reader is unaware at the start what she is running from. When all is revealed it is a shock and some flashback scenes might be a trigger for some.

The connection between Lori and Table was at first a slow burn, but this was understandable once it was known what they had both gone through in the past. Trust was a major issue for Lori to give but Table was exactly the right man to earn her trust. The first scene where Lori first sees Table was hot and an instant pull so much so that I could not put my kindle down until I had finished the book.

I loved that even though Table had moved away his old MC family were still very much part of his life and there for him when his need was greatest. It was lovely to catch back up with the Dragons and the previous couples in the series.

I think this book is my most favourite of all the series. There was a much darker aspect to this book that gave it that added depth. Added with the chemistry and passion between Table and Lori, the cute factor with Angel and the humour with his grandmother, this was a certainty to be a winner for me. A definite recommend to read this (and the series) from me and a five stars rating. Loved it!

Every woman wants a Table in her life. Not the kind you sit and eat on. No, the big bad biker dude. But life changed when his game of pool was interrupted by a girl. A tiny little girl with his eyes. A tiny little baby girl whose mother left her on that pool table and walked out. She became his main focus and he had to leave his MC brothers to take her to his only family and stable place the family farm. He missed his brothers even though he hung with the local chapter and they were good guys too.

Lori took jobs as she could for cash under the table. No paper trail for her. Table's grandmother rented an apartment over the garage to supplement the farm income. For Lori it was perfect. Not near town. She didn't need formal agreements and she could work on the farm when her other jobs allowed to lessen the rent. Great. Until Table came into the picture. She didn't want a powerful male around. She tried to ignore him. Her past and her emotional distress didn't let her hide her mixed feelings.

Was he different? He saw her fear. He said he wanted to help. Could she trust him?

Of course, there was more. Could he trust her? Could they have something together? There was the pull, but he wanted to settle and be a family. She wanted to keep moving. She had to keep moving or so she thought.

There is steam. Emotions galore. And who can resist a big tatted biker holding a sweet little baby girl?

This isn't a long story but every page will capture your heart. Read it and you'll know why every woman needs a Table.

Another member of Dragon Runners MC and another great story! If Table didn’t earn your sympathy by appearing in the previous books, I guarantee that after reading this book he’ll stay in your hearts forever!

Table, who suddenly became a single father, became a nomad and went to his homeland to focus on raising an infant daughter. There he meets the mysterious Lori, who is employed by his family as a help and occasional nanny. Although Table is aware that the girl hides secrets, he can’t deny the attraction and protectiveness that he feels toward her. Unfortunately, Lori's past is difficult and almost every confrontation with Table ends with a catastrophe. However, as time passes, the two get closer to each other and feelings are slowly born. However, they’re not meant to enjoy this for a long time because Lori's past catches her, threatening not only her but also the people she started to care about. Will Lori have to run away again? Will Table take a risk and fight for a woman who could be a potential threat to his loved ones?

I love this story! Table is simply perfect! On one hand a tough MC member and on the other hand a devoted and caring father. The club of which he’s a member stands up for his own and together they form a great family. Lori, in turn, is a great girl. Despite the luxury that surrounded her in the past, she is not afraid of hard work and she didn’t let unpleasant experiences to break her. Tough cookie, this one :)

Cameos of heroes of the previous books is the icing on the cake :) Show me the direction to the Lair - I want to be a member of Dragon Runners!

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

Lori is running from something...nothing really came out until the end of the book but she's evidently on the run with her taking cash for hire jobs. She needs a place to stay for a few months so she can make some money since buying a van depleted her stash. She finds a room over a garage in trade for some work done around a farm and she takes it. She then meets a hunk named Table who is in a biker MC, he's part owner of where she stays and Lori also helps care for his infant daughter.

What did I like? The book held its own as we read through almost the whole thing before the truth comes out. Table and Lori do a back and forth as trust seems to be an issue for Lori. The chemistry is there it's just not the main story.

Would I buy this book? No, this is a fence book for me. I didn't hate it and I didn't love it. The story of Lori was pretty awful, domestic abuse, and the neat way it tied up. I would have done one reason or the other, not both....just seemed convenient.

Thoughts for the author? I would have liked more of the biker gang, we all worked so hard to get Lori's story that the biker gang was a mystery. This is my first read by this author so I have none of the background of the rest of the MC. Just felt like if this was an MC story, there part seemed left out.

Table is a man who lives by honesty, so he doesn't deal with people who lie to him very well. He will protect the people close to him with his life, so when his life is throw into chaos when learning he's a Dad to a sweet baby girl, he takes a break from his Dragon Runners MC in order to move to the family farm. Lori is a woman who works on the farm for a place to stay. She stays to herself, is very independent, but has demons in her eyes. It raises some red flags for Table, who will protect his family, so he has his MC brothers do some digging. And that's all that I'm going to say about that. See, there's a lot of twists to this story, which not only had me drop f-bombs, but means that I can't say too much in the way of description because I don't want to give anything away. Especially since we all know that secrets don't make friends, and I was suspicious which kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for that other shoe to drop. In the meantime, I loved Lori & Table together, once they got past her walls, as they had chemistry which sizzled. And the cast of secondaries, which primarily made up of his aunts, had me laughing a lot, but there were others, which also had me laughing, and they all added depth. I really LOVE ML Nystom's writing style, and am addicted to the Dragon Runners' series, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
