A great start to a series that I will absolutely read more of!! X is one of my favorite kinds of book boyfriends, tattooed, unattainable, and oh so Alpha. Maybe a tad bit too much at times, but all in all I really liked him!! My heart broke for the tragedy surrounding this couple and the reasons neither could fall the way they wanted to. Equal parts sweet and hot, I was drawn like a moth to a flame. I will mention the sneaky intro to some side characters that are making me itch for the next book, so pay attention!! All in all, a really great read!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

Floved this book!!
The blurbs and synopsis, and a little help of the Hot cover reeled me in. So glad I gave this book a chance because this book was brilliantly done. The words and story you will fall in love with. This was my first book by this author and definitely won't be the last.
I mean whom doesn't love a sexy AF tattoo artist? This reader gives them. And an Alpha one whom goes after he wants heck yes!! He has heartbreaking problems at home. He has one highlight he sits on a bench at the beach watching a auburn haired beauty from afar everyday.
Ally is just going through the motions of living a half life. Four years to be exact. The one thing she does everyday is walk the beach at lunch. It brings her closer to a happier time in her life.
What happens when the girl he's been admiring and fantasized about walks into his tattoo shop? Well let me tell you nothing will ever be the same.
This book had hot AF sex scenes, ugly cry moment, awesome supporting characters and a storyline that moves and reads quickly. Cannot wait for more of the cast from this series.

‘Inked temptation’ is the first book of a new series and what a start it is! It was intense and emotional and just when you think you had it all, the writers gives you more.
This is the story about Ally and Xavier. When Ally was 18 years old something terrible happened to her. And although four years have passed, Ally still finds it hard to find happiness in herself and the outside world. One of the places where she finds some peace is on the beach, close to the sea. There is where she spends her lunch break every day.
For some time now Xavier has been fascinated (or some would even say obsessed) with a young woman he sees during his lunch breaks. From the first time he saw her on the beach, she took his breath away. And now every day he’s looking forward to seeing her. And then one day she walks into his tattoo shop for a tattoo. He knows then that she’s the one for him and he will do everything he can to make sure that everyone knows that, even Ally. And just when Xavier thinks that they are there, some bad things happens. Life can be hard. But Xavier knows one thing, he will fight for Ally with everything he has. He just hopes that in the end, Ally will fight for him too.
The writer Kay Maree knows how to write emotional stories, she’s a writer who writes from the heart. You can really feel what the characters are feeling. The pain, the guilt, the hope, the love.
The story is told from both POV’s and is an insta love romance,
Xavier is a strong character with a dominant and soft side. He’s loyal to friends and family and has a good heart. I found Ally a strong character too, she went through something painful without the help of her family or friends. It was wonderful to see her blossom under Xavier’s love and with the help of their friends. Because this story isn’t only about Ally and Xavier but also about their friends and I can tell you that the chemistry between them is very intense too! So I’m very looking forward to the next book in this series.

I always enjoy reading about stories set in Australia and this is no different, especially when our beautiful beaches are described.
Xavier, a twenty-six year old tattoo artist and owner of Xtreme Ink, is instantly attracted to Ally but he sees she is in a world of hurt and despair. Ally, who is twenty-two, is in a very dark place and quite deservedly so, she has been through so much and still is going through things. She works in a library and loves to escape into the fictional world between the pages of a book.
Xavier is your typical alpha male but he has a heart of gold and is a big family man. When he enters a relationship he is all in and everyone needs to be aware that his girl is just that HIS! 😂 he can be very romantic too and has impeccable manners. I really like Xavier as a character..can you tell?
Likewise Ally is another terrific character and her inner strength is amazing. The adversities she has to go through would put a weaker person down but I do have to admit there were times when my heart just about broke for her.
I also have to say I now have a few more books added to my Wishlist after looking them up after reading about them in this story, I really like it when an author references other books, thank you.
There are many fun, light hearted moments but there are also some that really will need a few tissues handy. There are some extremely passionate ones too that are red hot! You might need a cool drink after these! 😉

Inked Temptation is book 1 in the Inked series. Xavier and Ally’s story is an one that is full of every emotion. When you think your are so broken on the inside and nothing can fix that all you need is love, that is what this book is about it had some twists and turns that leaves you heart pounding in your chest. You will need a tissue or two. This is the first book I have read by this author and definitely won’t be my last. Can’t wait for book 2.

Wholly crap I just finished Inked Temptation, the passion, love, heartache and love you gave is extraordinary you had me falling in love, and fear for not just X and Ally but all of the characters you brought total strangers together and made them not just friends but family.

I loved this book. It was a great start to a new series. I also love how its set in Australia. I have to say this is my fav book by this author.

Ally has lived a very painful and tragic life, she's isolated herself from everyone trying to protect what's left of her broken heart but thats until X works his way in.
I could not put this book down and fell in love with both Xavier and Ally. I already want book two now. I highly recommend this book.

Well the author of this book has definetly outdone herself again with this book it is a beautiful story that is amazingly well writen, it flows well and is easy to follow. These charecters are an absolute treat to read about and possible tissues could be required at several key moments. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and am definetly looking forward to more in the series.
The main charecters Xavier and Ally where two very beautiful people who have very different lives but are amazing to read. I loved all the side charecters that will be future stories and getting a slight insight into their world.
I would highly recommend this book and author to anyone who loves getting immersed in an amazing book and loves an epic lovestory. This is definitely a book that needs to be read and I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

Xavier is living his own hell, but he feels an instant connection to Ally and hopes she's the one to finally help him breathe again. I could not put this book down and fell in love with both Xavier and Ally, at times it had me balling my eyes out, but so well written Kay.....I would thoroughly recommend it and can't wait for the next book in this series.

I've been following this author from her debut and watching her grow. This is my fave story that she has done. It ran the gamut of emotions leaving me emotional exhausted and happy for the outcome. This young women has gone through hell in her personal life and deserved her white knight in black ink. He was everything she needed to escape her past and move on with her life. Break out the box of tissues and dive into this one.

I loved this amazing book both ally and x and their amazing ride they took me on when they fell in love and when the unthinkable happened the rollercoaster took me on a amazing emotional journey which I loved I how his friends where always there when he need them this book had me addicted from beginning until the end.

What an empowering story! Ally is one strong woman. Xavier is the guy she didn't know she needed. Together they are perfection. I enjoyed every page of this book and instantly fell in love with the characters. This was a story about love, loss and the beginning of a beautiful future. It gave me all the feels and I love that in a book. I would definitely recommend this book. Just make sure you have tissues close by because you just may need them.

Let me say thet ... This book was TOTALLY FREAKING AMAZING. I happened to chance seeing this book on sale. I had never heard of the Kay Maree, but her cover for Inked Temptation caught my eye, the blurb was good and the price was right so I figured why not. I’ll sat it again TOTALLY FREAKING AMAZING!!!
Very well written. Awesome characters. I laughed and I cried(total ugly cry), talk about emotional. This is one of the best books I’ve read all year.

I've been anticipating this release for a while now and it didn't disappoint. Kay Maree is a talented writer. Her descriptions oh her characters are on point. She brings them to live, putting them in emotional situations.
Ally and Xavier are no different. Traumatic past, passion, steamy scenes. This book grabs you by the heart. I can't wait for more.

A Very Emotional Read!
Wow, what can I say about this book? Both parties has been through a lot of emotional pain and one in particular was physically Abused. I cried a lot, had to take some breaks in between. But through it all they prevailed, they made it work, their love for each other help them move forward. Amazing book!

It is well written but I found the plot very boring. The same scenes are repeated from the different points of view of the two protagonists, which makes the book, despite being short, tedious. I'm glad it was free at kindle unlimited , otherwise I would be pissed with myself, I could not finish it just reached 40%

Filled with drama and sexiness, this is an entertaining and fun read. Ally and Xavier's story has so much emotional intensity. It is beautiful, powerful and sweet. It was so wonderful to see these two wounded people find their soulmate. I'm voluntarily posting an honest review.

Reading this ,I found I couldn’t put it down, loved this so much. Every emotion you will feel is pulled out of you . You will full in love with the Characters, and beg for more.

This book pulls you in right from page 1 and don't let go. Ally and X take you on a highly emotional read with all their ups and downs and a few twist and turns along the way. Thet will have you laughing and definitely crying. And wanting to throw your Kindle cause parts will make you mad. The author knows how to pull you in and keep you on the edge and keep there there till the end.I can't wait for the next one to what happens.
