Hard to read

The book was full of errors. TYpos, incomplete sentences. Had to decipher the meaning of sentences on each and every page. The story was okay but wouldn't

I love this book. I was drawn in immediately by the first person narrative. The characters were so real to me, and evocative of people I've known or felt that I had known.
The evolution of the storyline surprised me again and again. Every time I had a strong sense of where the story was going my expectations were turned upside down. Sometimes it felt like a wild ride but like a cat always landed on its feet!
Honestly wow. I loved noticing themes emerge, go dark then back again, like phases of the moon. I am sure there are more that I will notice on a second reading. Ruby shows the talent and craft of a woman who is clearly called to writing. I hope this finds a wide audience as moved by this book as I was. Thank you Jennifer Harris!
