The Fates wanted more for her, now she's got to man up to tackle the future they handed her...

Thalia Lyndhoven's got balls.

Well, not literally. But she has the cojones to do what needs to be done to make things right in her Pack. Nor is she afraid to dirty her hands or push her nose in where angels would fear to tread.

Speaking of...

With two of her three mates at her side, Thalia's life has never been brighter. For the first time, she's hopeful for tomorrow. She's freer than she's ever been, even if she does have the burden of a prophecy riding on her coattails.

In walks mate number three. Not only does he have wings, a beautiful face, and an attitude, he has news.

A SECOND prophecy.

Seems like Thalia's just an overachiever when it comes down to the Doomsday stuff. For the first time, she's NOT excited to have her final mate at her side. This one comes bearing gifts that no one would ever ask for, and with a tale that rewrites history as the world knows it.

Man, Lyken, and Fae.

The combined power of her males means something, Thalia just has to figure out what that may be, all while absorbing her new role as Triskele - a Royal Enforcer for the Pack.

She's never been safer with her three males at her side, but she's never been in more danger either... Will she prevail? Or will she fail in her duties, not just to Lykenkind but the Fae too? Find out in TRISKELE.

I wish I found this author earlier and not yesterday because she’s truly amazing. The world building and development of the plot is astounding. There’s honestly only a handful of other RH books I’ve read where the plot is equally as good as the romance aspect. I’m a simple gal. I like a decent plot. I don’t mind popular tropes. They’re popular for a reason. But so fair this series and The Caelum series are original. It’s blasphemy to say this, but in the latter the plot was better than the romance. I’m curious if this series will be the same. As a lover of romance this says a lot for me to choose a great plot over relationships.

I’ve noticed this author isn’t just creative with her stories, but they’re based off the Bible. I won’t spoil it, but the other series I mentioned it was like that too. I love spin off tales or common stories people know. The Bible is a popular book, regardless of your belief. So to see it used like this in a fantasy/paranormal story is awesome!

My final thoughts after reading book one and two are that I’m not prepared for anything that’s going to happen. Also, I truly appreciate the difference between the mates. It’s quite simple for men to blend together in RH stories, but each of her mates are distinct. It helps that there are only three and the difference connect crucially to the story.

It’s too bad I’m going to take a few hours off to sleep because I cannot wait to read book three.

It ends in a cliffhanger. It's safe to say it's just getting started.

The world is getting more detailed as we learn more about politics, other mates backgrounds, and FMC growing pains...yea, let's call it growing pains.
It sure is painful to watch the I don't want a mate, but I want you, but I don't want all this from mate no. 2.
It's also painful to hear Raf as he deals with being a Gamma, but not a Gamma...
And the sexuailty talk with mate no. 3 is a little painful. But have to keep in mind, our FMC was sheltered, well caged. She learnt sex from visions of her mates having sex with others (unbeknownst to the mates) so having a mate who is fluid in sexuality...after all a few thousand years and you learn it doesn't define you...well it's like birds and bees talk.
Also, seeing the male mates question and try to reinstate their own sexuality to themselves... but knowing Theo has other ideas is just teasing us 🫢

Anyway, when there is smut or steam, it is well written and hot....but not that much in any of the books (huge sigh 😔)

The characters are well built, I too wish to bite the lobe off the wife beating guy! Now that's bonding 😉

Still reading away at this series, something about this premise of fated mates & troubled gamma wolves has me hooked. Thalia is definitely an interesting character.

Another fab read from this author!

Not only does she create a fantasy world that’s full of wonder and awe but she makes it believable so that you WANT to step through into the unknown.

The characters she brings to life are ones that I could read about all the time. They have chemistry, likability and personality. Plus they’re hot! Even the female lead. She has this spunky quality to her that I find myself drawn to.

The three men are definitely alpha hero’s, ones that I can definitely get on board with. They each bring something to the quartet and it’s nice to see a different supernatural creature brought in so there’s a variety.

Can not wait for more. Hopefully holding onto the hope that the author can write the third book in a day! Well one can dream anyway!

Highly recommend!

Ugh! I need the next one!

Thanks Serena, just thanks. You give me a d@mned good follow up from the first book only to leave me hanging in a bad way! I love how I got to know Mikkel, and we also got to meet Theo! I wish I could meet Thalia and her guys in real life. They sound amazing. And it was nice to meet her grandparents as well, but I feel like they are keeping something vital hidden whether they are aware of it or not. I really can't wait for the next book. This series took me by surprise (not because I don't think Serena is capable because she clearly is very capable) but because it wasn't something I saw coming in means of the storyline.

The series gets better and better!

When I write reviews I normally like to take my time on them and explain what I liked about a book and why, because reviews help us all as readers make up our mind what to spend our time and money on. However, with this book I don’t want to, because I need to download the third book NOW!!! What a cliffhanger!

Anyway in order to keep it brief, this is even more captivating than the first book, there is more clever and interesting world building, the characters get even more captivating and the plot clatters onwards.

I can’t wait to read the next book, so I’m going to end with, read this series, it’s really good!

Thalia has now met 2 out of her 3 mates, and after finishing what she had to do in Texas, she's now directed to Florida to meet her grandparents that she hasn't seen in years. Here, they rekindle their relationship and her third mate makes a surprise visit. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next.

Things pick up pretty much where Trinity left off. Thalia, Rafe, and Mikkel are still in Texas and are dealing with the Torres fight aftermath. Also, Mikkel is still struggling with the whole "mate" idea and having his life pre-determined for him (not that I blame him, but c'mon dude...either shit or get off the pot). The third "mate" is introduced and a whole new set of problems are introduced with him. It looks like our triad is on its way to being a quad, and that ending was one hell of a cliffhanger.

Okay, so my overall feelings on this book are a little all over the place. Why? Because I really, really, really did NOT like the third "mate" at all. There was absolutely NOTHING that he said or did that made me like him. Quite the opposite in fact. While reading his POV and about him, I was actually quite skeeved out....like, lip curled in disgust kind of skeeved. Because of my dislike of him, it made it hard for me to enjoy the story.

While I am a huge fan of RH reads and normally love ALL the men, I actually do have a favorite in this quad and that is Rafe. I don't normally fall for the insecure needy-ish types, but something about Rafe really tugs at me. Maybe it's because the H is so damn alpha herself she doesn't really need anyone, but whatever it is, I really like him best, and we see him grow into his new powers a little as well.

As for Mikkel, we also see some forward progress with him, but I wasn't too thrilled with the how's and why's of it. Dude obviously needed a push and something to open his eyes, but it all felt a little too banal. His reason for finally accepting the mate bond had me rolling my eyes so hard. His reasoning definitely moved him from "complicated bad boy" to "typical cave man" in my estimation; very sad really. I normally love me some alpha men and bad boys, but I cannot abide a club wielding Neanderthal (yes, there is a huge difference), and Mikkel began exhibiting signs of the latter. Not cute.

Overall, a good follow up, but I think I liked the first one better.

Better than the first!

I loved this book so much more than the first which is saying a lot because I loved the first one! We have now met all 3 of her mates, she has made her debut as Triskele, and she’s learning more about the prophecies that revolve around her and her mates.

Thalia is still a badass alpha female who is making her presence known within the shifter community. Thalia and her 3 mates are to bring about change for the shifter and Fae worlds. The hierarchy and abuse that the lower ranked shifters are suffering from is the perfect catalyst for the readers to easily get on board with Thalia and her mission.

This book had a moderate amount of action and excitement, mostly when she visited Rafe’s pack to deal with the Alpha, douche bag Beta, and his judgmental family. A lot of the rest of the book was developing and re-establishing Thalia’s relationships with her grandparents and her 3 mates.

Plenty of sexual tension and steamy scenes in this book which never once overpowered the overall plot of the story. Thalia’s 3 mates are HOT and I love all 3 of their personalities! We learn that her third mate is bisexual so this will be interesting to read as the series continues because I’m a sucker for MM and MMF.

This book definitely ends on one hell of a cliffhanger which has me wondering how in the world the author will spin this in the next book. Good thing for me, it’s already out so time for me to carry on with reading!!

What a cliffhanger!

OMG so good! We know from the last book that Thalia has become Triskele and she will see to it that laws are being followed and if not appropriate punishment, justice, is dished out. On top of that she has meet her second mate and is trying to get to know him, if he lets her that is. This book, obviously the 2nd in the series, takes us through each of Rafes, Mikkels and Thalias thoughts and feelings on the beginning of their future. We see more prejudice toward Rafe and from his own family no less, it tackles issues in their Pack society around gender roles and the fears our characters have as they start to understand their place in the world. I love how Serena details the strength it takes to stand up in the face of fear and that you can’t truely grow unless you have a community of people to help and support you. The characters are well thought out and the book is well written, I feel I can read like I’m watching tele, so good. Yes there is another cliffhanger but it’s great that the first 3 books are already available to read so pick them up!

Loved it.

Paranormal Romance. Rh. 3 guys. Gamma Wolf shifter. Soldier Human. Fae prince. After beating the abusive Beta, Thaila and the guys meet with the Alpha then head to Florida to reunite with her grandparents. This book focused on the guys and her relationship amd the bond. You get to meet the third mate. It's not has action packed as the last but you find out a bunch of interesting things. End on a major cliffhanger. Loving the series still. Can't wait for the next one! Recommend read.

I love this book. This series is so good. Serena has done it again. Thalia is so strong and yet also able to let others help her emotionally when she needs it. She get to visit with Rafe's family and learns a bit more about why he is the way he is. Her reunion with her grandparents is very interesting. We learn more about how everything works and get a glimpse at her 3rd mate. I just love how the story is coming together and am very anxious for the next book. Especially because of that cliff hanger, ugh.

Mind blowing

I am stunned. Thalia is such a dynamic MC. She makes you yell and scream and cry and love. Her mates are fantastically different and surprising.. to say the least. This story makes you rethink everything you’ve ever thought about the supernatural. I am blown away by the world that is created here. I’m also dying after that cliffhanger, but I know Serena will come through with the next book. Can not flippin wait!!

let me start by saying I'm loving this series.

So we have Thalia, Ralf, Mickeal, and Theodore and lots of family with many flaws.

i do find it interesting that Thalia has 3 mates and only 1 is a Lycan. she's supposed to be the head of the Lycans and only 1 of her mates fit that bill. but i think that's a good thing because all of Lycan kind needs shaking up they act like cave men. Assaulting the weak and abusing they MATES. this isn't some random fling these are the other half of your souls and you regularly beat them and that's okay? not accepting help from someone because they are preserved as weaker than you even though they are beyond more successful?

Lets talk men

we have Ralf who is a weird ass Lycan and her first mate. Hes supposed to be her comfort place. the person she can go to when she needs a break down and he will be there to catch her. im glad in this book we get less of the Whinny in weak BS we got in the first book. she clearly doesn't need someone physically strong. she needs someone emotionally strong that can hold her up when she needs it.

then we have Mickael (IDK if im spelling this right. I listen to audiobooks). From the first moment we met him i didnt like him. hes arrogant and honestly thinks hes too good for anything except fighting in another pointless war. He has a chance to be involved in world changing situations and all he does the entire book is whin about his circumstances. Boo who, your mother found her true love after your father died fighting in a war. he states many times that he loves his mother and step father but thats not what his actions say. he was told that him denying the bond was hurting her and he denys it saying shes find. then he get jealous and finally hes okay with finding his soul mate? make it make sense

lastly we have Theo. right from the start i liked him. yes originally he was coming to Thalia to do his duty and ask her to be his wife to save his people, but as soon as he realized who she was to him he changed his tune. yes he still wants to save his people but he knows that Thalia is the most important thing. but Thalia is the one to push him away this time. and why you ask? because shes mad she found out that not only is she prophesied to save her people shes also prophesied to save the Fae as well. wonder how the humans are going to play into this because shocker she has a mate from every race. i doubt that is coincidence. i cant wait to learn more about Theo i can already tell he will be my favorite.

over all i loved the book. the men are kind of getting on my nerves but that's to be expected with a 6 book series. the characters arnt going to have it all together in book 2.

I’m happy to say book 2 was better then book 1, unfortunately they still refer to female wolfs as B*tches which is so cringe worthy & seems inferior in comparison to a dog rather then a wolf!

*trigger warning there is still the mention of rape & now domestic violence in this book*

The new gifts her & her mates are coming into is interesting, and their relationship seems to be progressing naturally.
Having a fae coming into this book & all of his stories makes this book more enjoyable.

There are still lots of bigotry in this book even in her family it will take time to change the way their society views things.

This book ended on a cliffhanger so I will definitely be going onto book 3 and hopefully the story only gets better!

I personally didn't enjoy this as much as the first book.
I really prefer a good balance of story with the romance, and this book seemed to be more focused on the romance aspect - the actual story didn't really progress too much, in my opinion, other than in the romance/mate department.
There were also what seemed like some contradictions, things repeated several times, some things that didn't quite make sense... is shorter than what I like, and ends in a cliffhanger.
Unfortunately it's not really keeping my interest, so I don't think i'll be continuing with this series..

So good!

It ends in a pretty crazy cliffhanger, but there’s another book coming out soon, so you should still read it. Man, what a ride! The varying emotions the author pulled from me is insane. I adore Thalia and her flawed mates. I enjoyed the authors take on the gods and the fae; it did get pretty heavy and mind boggling there for a bit. Can’t wait to see them all bonded and the difference she makes in the Lyken, human and fae worlds!

Loved the world this series is in

The dude more than rolled with the punches. He was like fucking Nero in the Matrix! Swerving this way and that before his opponent could do more than blink. If Mikkel didn’t genuinely like the guy, he’d want to smack him. As it was, the desire ran close to the surface. They’d just seen a fucking angel and Rafe was reacting like nothing had happened.

DNF at 40% or something, I can't remember

I didn't like it at all. I hoped after the first book that the plot would develop a little faster, with less focus on their inner monologues and more on action. The author seems to repeat herself throughout the book on many occasions, making the read tedious and boring. I felt like I was waiting forever for something to happen, but nothing really did. I'm sad about it, 'cause I really like the author, but the book was just plain boring for me.

She meets her other mates. The last one has wings and he used to be in an open relationship with a man for the past 50? years. I can honestly say I did not like this, I have tried to accept it, I see the reasoning, the fluidity in this new/ ancient race but I still dislike the undertone, and I detest the insinuation that her two mates would also fall into her third mate. They feel attracted to him which is not the best for me. So maybe there will be possible m/m interactions in the future.

Fantastic book 2

As always with a book by Serena, you are drawn into the world and become one with the characters, no sooner have you started the book ends leaving you wanting and needing more. Book 1 saw the building on the MC and book 2 we learning the guys in Thalia life. Haven't read a book by Serena Akeroyd, get one now, you won't be disappointed. Fantastic book. Warning does end on a cliffhanger. Off to read book 3 now 😍

I can't stop reading!

This series is so good...

I really love the storyline of this. I can't stop reading. Usually, I get distracted and start other books but I think this one I will finish in once.

I really like Theo's apparition in this...
It is really different from all my enemies to lovers reverse harem and I love it.

The fact the it written in He/She dosetn bother me anymore because I got use to it...

Ahhh love!!

Please finish the next book ASAP! That book was intense and so so good. That cliffhanger though!!! Definitely wasn’t expecting that. Seriously such a good read and story. The men interacting is great. I also love how much they’re helping each other and becoming a unit. She’s definitely coming into herself!!! Love this book so much!

I Eagerly started book two (this one!) and I was not disappointed, the sexy hot man has become me but it is strangely not a sleazy read, the storyline is supernaturally credible and let's face it, until its proven that the supernatural exists, then anything is game. I loved it but please, the cliff hangers woman!

Starting to come together.

So the beginning of this book made more sense and helped me understand the beginning of the first book. The only issue I ran into was sometimes I had to reread a passage because I wasn't sure who was talking. That could be my issue though. All together great book.

I am going to reading the next book. I am so glad I waited to read this series, because that was a big cliffhanger. So prepare yourself people. I love this book. The characters are tough yet they're so vulnerable as well. They are raw with their emotions and real. I couldn't put this book down.
