Souls on fire…

USA TODAY bestselling author India R Adams writes stories of souls on fire. Whether India’s characters are feeling the heat from hell or the wings of grace, they are all transforming and want to share their journey with you. Her novels range from Dark MC, Paranormal, to Contemporary, but each story is either a path of destruction or a road to redemption.

Sometimes both.

So, if you want to read about voyages of the heart, the grit to rise from one’s knees, or the strength to break free of the binds of a spirit, then pick one of India’s stories because she believes damaged souls are worth saving and that there is nothing more beautiful than a soul on fire.

Mercy, being a third book in Forever series, means that no matter what I write about the story per se, would sound utterly incoherent to any of you who haven't read this series.

I, however, highly recommend it. Not only Forever series but any of India R Adams' books...

Seriously, this author brings another meaning to everything meaningful...

Insightfulness and fulfillment are just little glowly particles in her magic that bring you to a brink of your own self -awareness...meaning of love, life, being...

So, this review will be simply, for me...no matter the selfish tone it might bring to the final impact, it's important to me, to state it that way...

cause what I feel while entering India's world is absolutely purifying and cathartic on so many atomic levels of my own existence...I can't even grasp the 'heaviness' of the words I just spilled here...

but the emotional burst of this notion lifts the burden of being small, I am grand...

Standing tall and proud yet humble and honored to have been a small part of the making process of this beautiful story...

India, thank you.

From the bottom of my heart and my soul, I thank you for making me a part of this magical world of your exquisite writing and 'larger than life' journey...

I loved/love all the characters, I re-lived their pain, hurt, sorrow as much as I relished in their happiness...but where I thought that I was so full with completion, I found myself captured, lifted and apprehensively grateful for the insight of what Rocco & Hope built together, for one another...

After this, I'm simply pensive and speechless....

I encourage you all, begin the 'larger than life' journey with India R Adams, you won't regret it...

There are books that make me think. Hard. And Mercy is one of them.
As the story begins with a reminder of the previous events that took place in Destiny, guilt and sorrow slowly but surely envelop us when we are plunged into Serenity's sorrow. It didn't take long for my heart to break, but here lies that incredible magic with India's books: you know that you'll always find the light in the dark. She once more made wonders, managing to make me smile in spite of the painful situations. And that is what I felt all along, an emotional rollercoaster, bringing me so low with pain and sadness and heartwrenching moments, and the next minute so high with smiles and jokes and playful scenes! The balance between the good and the bad, the misery and the joy, the darkness and the light was so perfectly and beautifully executed! Mercy, and the whole series really, is a tale about love, friendship and family. Loss, grief, healing, forgiveness. LIFE.Thanks to India's poetic style, the light stands out in the darkness of the broached matters. Don't be fooled, this is a very difficult read. Oh! Did I cry, BUT, the positive vibe prevailed, carried by the Pledgers, their sense of loyalty, their kindness and their unique bond. Their connection, that was a little unsettling to me in the first book, now felt very comforting. Mercy is definitely something else. It could certainly be considered an inspirational read, at least the characters truly are awe-inspiring!!! It is a strong experience!!!

I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ARC COPY OF THIS BOOK. THANK YOU!!!

I said it before and I’ll say it again this author knows much more than she is letting on. There is something very special about this book. It has an energy of it’s own when you start reading it. If I’ve learned anything it’s that energy attracts energy and can take on a mind of it’s own. Everything is connected and the circle never seems to end. Seriously, as I was reading the book there is a scene about letting go of negativity and stress and at the exact moment I was reading it there was something very negative affecting me. It was almost like it was therapeutic life lesson. This book is like a life lesson with a very deep story thrown in. I’m a pretty fast reader and I’m not going to lie, there were several times I had to put this book down and walk away to absorb what I was reading to try and wrap my head around what was happening. Don’t get me wrong there were a lot of happy and tender moments in this story. The characters in this book are: handsome, pretty, cute, strong, funny and best of all devoted and loyal. There’s even the steam you may be looking for. Believe me it doesn’t disappoint. There’s levity and a lot of male egos challenging each other, which is extremely comical.

This is the third book in a continuation of Serenity and Destiny’s story. Don’t start this book if you haven’t read the first two. This book needs your undivided attention. That being said it is worth your undivided attention. This story is complex, just like life real life. Here’s my suggestion for reading this book. Go into this story with a clear mind, no preconceived ideas. Look for nothing in this story and you’ll get everything. Life isn’t made up of all happy moments it’s ever evolving and changing. Even the bad brings good and even the good doesn’t last. The past can greatly impact the future and it doesn’t always stand to reason to not look at the past. We can’t change it but we can learn from it. There are reasons for all of this. Sometimes we need to stop trying so hard and let the energy just come to us as the Beatles sang, “Let It Be”. We need to trust there is a plan greater than ourselves but not greater than ourselves, because we are all a part of the same. Without pain there is no growth. Everything nourishes one another. This story brings all of this and more. It will answer questions and provoke more. You’ll be dissatisfied and satisfied. You’ll want the next book as soon as possible! My hope is that this author is writing the next part as I write this! This book is that good!

This the third novel in the forever series, and I just adored it. The characters and the feelings in this book really touch me. Every Book in this series has me crying, bot tears of joy and sadness. I love Serenity’s crew, watching them grow and become even more understanding with their increased knowledge of the world even as it changes from what they thought they knew. Destiny’s boys are no different and just as wonderful as their counterparts from the crew. I love the additions they have gotten in this and the previous books. For whatever reason I originally thought this was going to be the last book in this series and was over-the-moon happy to know that it isn’t over yet and there is more to come. I have invested my soul in these characters and can’t wait to get more of them. What a wonderful series, even if the story doesn’t always take just good turns. Be prepared to have your heart break (even if just a little) for what the characters go through.

With tears in my eyes... I have finished the next chapter of this epic series... And holy CRAP was it amazing...

I am honestly speechless, but I'm going to try to put together the words to describe how much I adore this story...

The author has this way of capturing you from the first page and keeping you intrigued to the last sentence. There were some hard subjects that the characters went through, but she absolutely handled them BEAUTIFULLY and RESPECTFULLY. I hated putting my Kindle down when adulting responsibilities called.

My emotions were all over the place. There was laughter, tears, yelling, gasping... All of these blended together created one of the most painfully beautiful reads ever.

I absolutely recommend this amazing story!!! Be sure to read Serenity (Book 1) and Destiny (Book 2) prior to reading this one!

Deep breath.. Sigh... Putting Mercy into words for a review is difficult without giving away to much and spoiling the emotional experience for others.
India has such an amazing writing style. Once you get on this emotional soul train there just aint no getting off.
The depth of emotion felt whilst India pulls you into Mercy is just magical. You feel every word, Every emotion like you're there, living in India's light of perfect imperfections.
Not connecting and feeling for each character is impossible. They're all unique in their own way and focused with one goal. Keeping Serenity and Destiny from the Mist that hunts them.

Reading the first 2 books in the Forever series is a must.
Thank you for sharing your world India.

An Amazingly Spiritual LOVE STORY
With an intricate detail that pulls a reader into the experience and tension of “MERCY,” India Adams’s third book in the FOREVER SERIES is an amazingly complex yet relentlessly compelling story of love. While this may be billed as a romance, it is so much more. Author India Adams has an incredibly descriptive prose that allowed this reader to see all that the various characters saw, often experiencing the same event through multiple points of view so that I could understand why the different characters acted as they did or made the choices that were made. I became so engrossed in the story, I forgot to eat or sleep until my eyes closed and the book fell out of my hands. This is because the turmoil, danger, blessings, joy, and insight come at such a pace, it is almost difficult to find a place in the story to put the book down and deal with real life issues. And yet, this fast-paced action is so intricately woven into both the past and the present, it is difficult to adequately describe how gripping and how captivating this complex plotline and the resulting mysticism truly are. Suffice it to say that author Adams’s skill at revealing only enough to keep her readers glued to the story is remarkable and accurate. Now for the SPOILER ALERT! If you have not yet read the first two books of the FOREVER SERIES – “Serenity” and “Destiny” – then do not read beyond this point, just buy the books and start reading! In “MERCY,” readers pick up the story with all of the favorite characters of both Serenity and Destiny, with the exception of one very important person. Hope and Rocco promise some balm for that hurt, and the lives of all the others continue to reveal what each needs to know, while Serenity and Destiny continue to mature in both understanding and the use of their gifts. What those understandings and uses may be will only be revealed when you purchase your copy of “MERCY” and read it TODAY! I voluntarily read an ARC copy of “MERCY,” and this is my honest 5+STAR review and recommendation. Once again, let me STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy of “MERCY” today. Happy pages! 😉

Ok, so I have to start by saying that when you pick up this book that firstly it is part of a series and that you will need to have an open mind and an open heart to truly appreciate how beautiful this book is.
Reading a book by India is on a whole nother level for me, I feel all the emotions and the writing is just so sincere that you can't help but be sucked into not only the story but the feelings. Gosh, I just don't feel like I have adequite enough words for how wonderful an experince this book really is.

What started out as a story about Serenity and her friends and love life has very quickly emerged into everyones story and how people who are seemingly strangers are actually a part of your life and you don't even know it yet. The level of love and adoration and just general feeling of family is present in everything that is written makes me want my own set of "The Crew" and boys and Pledgers because that sense of family is something that cannot be explained unless it is somewhat experienced, and India gives me that in a way I didn't think was possible.
Having said that Serenity has closed one chapter in her life but there is still so much more to go and I am so looking forward to what else India has in store for us. There are some very touchy topics discussed but the reality is that so much of this happens to so many people and they don't even feel that they can talk about it and it breaks my heart. Yes, we do not all have our own Destiny or Serenity but there are people out there who will love and accept you and help you to be the best that you can and hold you up when you can't hold yourself up. So amny times you read a book to escape and even though India allows us that escape in this book, there is so much more. Her writting inspires to me look at my life and realise that it isn't all that bad and how to focus on positivity and balance myself. No, I am not at all on the spiritual level of the girls but I do believe that there are many ways to find balance and happiness and India has helpe dme learn new ways through this book.

Now that I've typed a small essay, the advice I can give you is:
1-Don't read thsi book in public, there is waaaaaay to much crying that is about to happen!
2-Stock up on loads of chocolate, it's worth it.
3-Open your mind and your soul and just enjoy this book, I know I did.

This is my honest and unbiased review.

Wow! Just wow! Incredible story. This is definitely a series you need to read. Found myself crying, laughing, yelling at my Kindle. Such amazing characters, amazing story telling. I have not been this invested in characters like this in a long time. You feel like you are a part of the story, like you are a part of this group of amazing people.

This picks up where Destiny leaves off. Dereck on tour with Destiny, him and Serenity still going strong. Everyone in their circle has 'pledged' themselves to Serenity and Destiny. A few more Protectors are added to the mix. Rocco starts to live again, getting used to life without his Lil' Mama. They all are. She is never far from them and visits often letting them known by sending the scent of jasmine.

The danger and threat continues to build with the impending release of Serenity's father from prison. The Crew, The Boys, The Wise Ones,Sawyer,Zane and one big guy named affectionately called 'Tank' are all on high alert, and have their eyes all peeled for any threat to Serenity and Destiny.

There are some surprises, lots of love, laughter, things that will have you yelling at your e reader. I cannot say enough good things about this series. Once again I found myself sobbing at a few parts. I am a natural crier, but I was straight up, sobbing, and ugly crying. Can't wait for the next installment!

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you India R Adams!

Deep sigh... This book... There are no words. I will never get over how Adams’ writing has a sense of being; how it’s infinitely profound. Adams has a clear and unique voice that comes through in her writing. Reading one of her books is so unlike anything you’ve ever read before in the most beautiful way possible.

This book closes a chapter in Serenity’s life and opens another for the next books in the series. It also answers questions we didn’t know we had. It reveals secrets that will blow our minds and shatter our hearts. You will cry when you read this book. I am not a cryer, but I cried multiple times reading this novel.

India R. Adams takes you on a journey alongside her characters. She will make you feel everything her characters are feeling. She makes even the most casual acts feel intimate, and it honestly blows my mind.

Alongside all this emotional and poetic writing, Adams also rewards us with some great romance scenes. Some that will make you all hot and bothered, yet still make you swoon so hard.

The signature to any Adams book is balance. In this book, Adams perfectly balanced heavy subjects and humour. She would use humour intelligently to relieve a scene that would otherwise completely crush the reader - but don’t worry, you’ll be a little smooshed.

So if you didn’t catch my drift yet, I LOVE THIS BOOK. *mic drop* (so that I can give a standing ovation)

I am just floored!! Get your tissues ready because this book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. This book is a true experience, the characters are incredible and full of feelings and you become engulfed in this story. Approach the book with an open mind and heart and you will be taken in a world that is full of surprises, laughter, love, heartbreak and revelations. I became invested in the characters and felt like I was part of this book. There were parts in this book that made me cry my eyes out but that is what made this book so special. I love how India is not afraid to discuss touchy subject and shows how difficult it is for so many people to open up about their own heart aches. This book is a true escape and inspiring. The biggest message I took away from the book is to be more positive, appreciate the little things in life and find your own happiness within yourself. India's writing will take you on a whole other level and will open your mind to another world. Keep an open mind, have tissues ready and enjoy this book. You will not be disappointed. Incredible read 💝

Mercy by India R. Adams is the third book in her Forever series and my favorite read. Mercy is not a standalone. You must read the previous books, Serenity and Destiny, first.

Mercy picks up where Destiny was left off.
Serenity is married to Dereck and everything could be great. But her vicious father is about to released from jail and he's determined to make her life a living hell again.
Mercy contains just the right amount of drama and danger to keep you at the edge of your seat. I read the book in one sitting. I had to know what happens to the characters. The writing is great and I connected easily with the hero and heroine. I give 4,5 stars.

Mercy is the third book in the Forever series, and it IS a series so I would definitely recommend starting with Serenity. Trust me, so much goes on inside these pages, that you would be lost otherwise.

Now then, where do I start? First of all, this is a long book. So whatever you do, make sure you have stocked up on supplies. That includes a box of Kleenex, enough chocolate to last you a week, plenty of drinks, and let your family know you will be indisposed for the foreseeable future until you've finished reading. Because once you start reading, you will be lost. I promise you that. The first chapter had me crying! That is how quickly I was sucked back into Serenity's world and the situations she was dealing with. Some pleasant, some not so pleasant, some downright horrible.

As this is a long book, you can be sure of plenty of things going on. There is never a dull moment, but whether it is happiness or sorrow you are feeling, your emotions will never be far away. There is danger and suspense, building up to an epic climax that will blow you away. There is a twist here that I never saw coming. I sort of hope this is the end to one part of it, but knowing how Ms. Adams' works take me to places as yet undiscovered, I guess I will have to wait and see what comes next. Whatever it is I can imagine, will only be a whole load better!

With no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt my reading, I was completely engrossed with this story. This book defies genres and situations. It is hard to put into words, so you will just have to read it for yourself. One thing I can promise is that you won't regret it.

Such a good book, a fantastic series, and highly recommended by me.

To say that Mercy was perfection would be a understatement and wouldn’t be enough for the talent that is India Adams. With every word she writes I fall deeper and deeper for her stories!! Unfortunately nothing I could write in my review would do her books or her any justice so I won’t even try lol. I will however say if you are looking for a beautifully written book with a plethora of depth on so many levels she is the author for you.

Mercy is book 3 in the Forever series and you should really start from book 1 Serenity cause this is a series and you will be lost regarding the back story and the characters without starting from the beginning. A lot comes full circle for me in this book and the message behind it to me was one of equal parts sadness to the point of crying like a little baby but also the beauty that lies ahead and beyond.

No other author can consume me and leave a lasting impact cause of her words that truly stays with me like India can and for that mere fact alone I will always read anything as long as her name is on it!!

Deep breath...heart ache...angels with us in the light.

India R. Adams has presented the third book in her Forever series, Mercy.

I believe our souls cry out for the emotional connections we need at certain points in our life. These connections take place between lovers, family, friends, and strangers. They grow from words and thoughts and feelings.

The connection that India has with her readers is blessed by her light, as she grows through her life experiences and finds the presence of mind to create worlds where her messages can take root and grow.

This author can feed your soul. Embrace her light, her voice, that reaches out to share the life that has grown from each of her experiences, whether good or bad. Celebrate her courage, and the characters she creates to show the determination and will to live and love.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibraian – I Dig Good Books

Surprise, surprise, this book was brutal. It was deep, emotional, heavy, and raw. It was really just perfect.
If you’ve ever read a book by India before, you know she isn’t known for holding back the emotions. She throws them out there and secretly feeds off of the tears of her readers (hehe). On a serious note, she brings out the real emotions, the ones that you can’t deny, The ones that sit heavy on your chest, and burn at your throat as you try to hold back a sob.
This cast of characters really make this story. They are relatable, they are desireable, and they are kick butt. The relationships between each character make you want to keep reading. They keep you holding on when you want to throw your kindle or book across the room in the name of India. They drag you back with a promise of making things better. They are the characters you think about when thinking about your best friend.
I don’t think India needed any help making this book an absolute soul crushing story, but wait! There’s more. Her descriptions and details are truly bone chilling. They haunt you when you close your eyes because they can’t read any more words. They keep the visualization there. On the flip side, the descriptions and details make things better. They give you the hope that things get better. They give you the warm and fuzzies.
Even though my emotions were all over the place and I was a mess at times, I absolutely loved the book. There isn’t one thing that I didn’t truly enjoy, no matter how hard it was to read. I would definitely recommend this book, after the first two in the series of course.

Mercy is the third book in the Forever series. It crosses several genres including, romantic suspense and magical fantasy. I would recommend reading the books in order to get the best from the series.

The connections between country singer Destiny and Serenity, a young woman, continue. As does the support system around them from husbands, band members, friends and employees. Everyone is aware of threats to the lives of both Destiny and Senenity. They pledge to do all they can to protect the pair, as the dangers draw nearer.

This series is both intense and spiritual. It is a great opportunity for pure escapism as you read, but it also has themes of abuse and suffering that many readers may connect to, but on a different level. The author makes no pretence that her own life experiences have helped create many of the emotional passages within her writing. There's a music theme too, which is a main element of the book, and helps drive the story forward.

Recommended to those who enjoy well written, memorable characters.

Where do I even begin about this book?

Wow! Mercy was my first read by India R. Adams and to say I am blown away by her powerful writing would be a complete understatement. I know, I know I should've started with the first book in the series, but never fear, Serenity is next up on my list to read.

Right off, I was drawn to the story by the cover and the blurb. Little did I know though, just how good this story was going to be. Adams has been hiding out somewhere because she is an author that everyone needs to read. The pureness of her writing, her choice of words and tone, the bitterness and grit...totally enveloped my heart while I was reading. The story line will hit you with a punch--it's emotional and doesn't go lightly on the subject matter but it's pure and raw.

India R. Adams took this story to a level I've not seen in a long time and I was so happy to take the journey with her throughout the story. Mercy is one of those stories that you're going to devour because once you start reading it, you won't be able to put it down. So heart-wrenching and so dang good. I wish I could give it more than five stars.

Mercy is Book three in the series, therefore, it will help if you have read the other books as well. I am speechless! This book was absolutely freaking amazing!
I am not an eloquent reviewer...but here goes my review

Mercy is book 3 of the forever series if you haven't read the first 2 I highly recommend you read them before Mercy...you will not be disappointed! India R Adams will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions...have plenty of tissues, chocolate, and your favourite drink! The author pulls you into the story and it's like you are right there as everything unfolds. The reader becomes attached to the characters and you don't want to be leave them

Serenity and Destiny's story continues in Mercy. We find some old friends and new ones in this story...whom you become attached. As each of the books in this series touches on some highly emotional topics India does an amazing job reminding the reader that there are imperfections in the world and they need to be brought to light.
I love the characters in this storyline...each pledge themselves to Destiny and Serenity....I found myself laughing at the guys egos and their bickering at times. It is amazing how life comes full circle...how someone in your past can be forgotten suddenly emerges and rocks your world...good or bad...it's what you make of it.
I cannot wait for the next installment of this series! India, I love ya and thank you for being you and opening my eyes and heart to the world around me. I even cried reading your authors note at the end of the book with the shout out to your readers And your Igniters! I am blessed having you as an online friend...I so wish you lived closer!
Highly recommend all of India's books

India said it best,

"One for the last
one for the first
He's still watching,fulfilling a curse

My name is Serenity.Peace is not what I am experiencing at the moment."

Old friends who are family in love and closeness -- share the gift of love,
music, loss, and grief.

The family who has shared a life before are together now and will be together always.

But their Bond doesn't spare them the losses they have, nor keep them from harm.

Are they being stalked, or is it just a series of bad events-- only time will tell.
India has done it again-- only this time she doesn't provide the kleenex which
I needed many times in this story...
I love you India-- as always an excellent read. Well done!

Once again I am left SPEECHLESS!!! I have LOVED this series so far and India has brought out some serious emotions in me. I have read the credits at the end of each book and how hard these have been for her to write them. I so believe this as it is hard for me to read them. I can't imagine the pain and suffering Serenity and Destiny have gone through throughout these 3 books so far. The lifetimes they have lived, loved and sacrificed for.

True love last a lifetime! My biggest regret is that I had not read this series sooner. I know this is the newest release but damn!! This one again just cements my book addiciton that she will be a definate one-click author for me!!!

I have to say it, I'm now totally hooked on Ms Adams books!
Absolutely brilliant! I couldn't put the book down and was totally exhausted when I finished it!
So many questions are answered. But so many more have arisen.
New characters have joined and all are meshing beautifully. The protectors are so much more than protectors. How have all their lives come together again?
This book gave me goose bumps. Many times.
I really need more. Now!
