September 20, 2018We can't not love a second helping of Jasper, right? This short novella is full of action from start to finish. We see the Guardians come together to face the biggest fight of their life. It's guaranteed to leave you on the edge 0f your seat. If you've followed this series from the beginning, I guarantee that you'll scream and shout as the pages transport you back into the world of The Guardians.

Well after leaving the fourth story of The Guardian Shifters Series ‘Alive and Kicking’, we know the chaos that’s about to ensue for Jasper and his family. A necessary, but difficult decision to rise those he loves for the greater good of not only the pack he’s a part of, but his kind.

Bring It On!
Jasper has been putting up with all the crap the council has been throwing at his pack, being a council member himself, but more importantly a Guardian it has to stop. Council member Braxton has taken it all to a new level and Jasper calls him out and challenges him. Jasper is set on making it safe for his family, pack and any shifter that needs help and the only way to do that is by taking charge.
Will Braxton go into this challenge without tricks, will Jasper be triumphant? Read this very intriguing, on the edge of your seat story.

Jason has been pack Guardian and Enforcer for the Paranormal Council for years. But last time Braxton, head of the Council, came to their pack to unfairly punish a member, Jasper challenged him to a dual to the death for his place on the Council. This book tells the story of meeting that challenge and the outcome for his son, his mate, other witches and those he has saved in the pack. A good read.

The True Leader Emerges
JASPER: Taking Control, the fifth story in the Guardian Shifter Series, was an rally enjoyable read. Jasper is a man/wolf who has always put his family and his pack before himself, this is highly evident in the novels previous to this one. Tired of the ways in which his pack, of which he is Guardian of, is being treated by the Paranormal Council, Jasper has challenged Braxton in a fight to the death for the Councillor's seat.
Kelly proceeds to weave magic into her words. She shows the emotional struggles that Jasper is facing. The fear that he may not return, the devastation of leaving his mate, Stracey, behind. Kelly is also able to portray the thoughts and emotions of those closet to Jasper upon hearing of his decision. The unknown, of what will eventuate after the fight, weighs heavily on the mind of each member of the pack - but more so for Jasper. Kelly clearly relates the love and friendship that is found amongst the members of the pack and the respect that they all hold for Jasper.
A truly beautiful and emotional story. i look forward to reading Callum's story next.

The story I must admit I’ve been waiting for since book 1 of the series. Jasper finally takes on the counsel. Oh not in the bucking the system type of way, like we know Jasper will do for his pack. Jasper has finally had enough and challenges Braxton to take over. This will be a fight to the death, but one he has to make for the good of the shifter nation. But we all know Braxton will fight dirty and strike when Jasper least expects.
Must to the anger of his mate, Jasper prepares and plans the best he can for the upcoming battle. This is an amazing story that will keep you on edge while the Jasper, his sons and right hands take on the all mighty counsel and Braxton. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series. The books can be read on their own but the storyline continues in each so reading from the start would be the best. 5 stars for Jasper, Taking Control and 5 stars for an phenomenal shifter series. I can’t wait to see what happens next as our packs story continues with Callum’s story. 2 Thumbs Up

This may only be a novella but my goodness it has so much going on. It keeps you on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns. Jasper has challenged Braxton, the head of the Paranormal Council, for the leadership role. Sickened with how he’s used and abused his position for many years, the time is right to overthrow him. In a fair fight, Jasper would win hands down… but Braxton doesn’t fight fair. You get to see just how much Jasper cares for his family and community and sometimes, the responsibilities weigh down heavily on him.
The book also has myriad of characters, some are old friends and others are new to us. I loved how seamlessly they all fit into the storyline and hope to see more of them in the future. Well done once more K.M. Lowe, you have surpassed yourself with your storytelling!

Jasper has had enough, now he's taking on the council leader with a battle to the death. This is all about him, his family, his pack and most importantly going against what has become a road block for their way of life. As he gears up for the fight more is revealed about the upcoming battle and the traps that may be set. Unfortunately the support he seeks isn't what he gets from all the parties involved so this time it's going to be tough. They will need to have contingencies for the contingencies to make it all happen. This author gives us thrills and chills in this read that is much too short for the awesomeness it contains this I say in the best of ways. This author does some awesome brain twisters and loads of action. Awesome all around series that just keeps getting better as we learn about this group of misfits that fit perfectly.

Jasper has been a Guardian for years and an Enforcer for the Paranormal Council. For years he's took on any challenge asked of him. For years he's stood and watched as the Council Leaders deal out punishments and decide the fate of Paranormal Beings, but not any more. He is going to stand up and take control. This is one challenge that Jasper intends to take. Will he continue to be undefeated or has he bitten off more than he can chew?
If you have followed the Guardian Shifters from the start, you'll know why this is something that Jasper has to do.
For a short novella, it adds so much to the series. Full of action which does keep you on the edge of your seat. I am addicted to this series, I don't know where the Guardian Shifters are going to go next but I can't wait to find out.

I was eager to read this novella as I love Jasper and really wanted to know what would happen following his long overdue confrontation with Braxton. KM Lowe didn't disappoint, and I spent the whole time on the edge of my seat unsure what she had in store for Jasper and the pack. This 5 star read has everything you'd expect from KM Lowe, and this whole series just flows seamlessly from book to book.
Whilst this novella concludes the first part of the series, we get glimpses of what's to come next and I'm excited for Callum's book. I'm also hoping that Julian gets his own book as we don't know much about him despite all the help he gave Jasper.

Wow! I just love Jasper, he protects and fights for his family and all of his kind, he stands up for his beliefs and in this book is determined to repair and stop the council from any further damage. His family and pack stand strong with him and he has a surprising allie which makes a massive difference to the outcome. His love has no bounds and that melts my heart. Twists and surprises of course and suspense but it wouldn't be such a wonderful story without, I was totally invested in this one, I needed the right character to win. I'm now clapping with glee and Callum is next up, 👏👏👏👏❤

a fabulous novella, I really enjoyed not just this one but all the authors books in the guardian shifters. jasper takes the paranormal beings to the next level with a big challenge. it keeps me drawn into reading, excellent to read

You know a novella is good when you sit there, on the edge of your seat. So much happens in this story, the pace is excellent and you keep trying to guess Jasper's next move or the outcome of his decisions. Bravo

Jasper, Taking Control, book 4.5 in the Guardian Series.
It's a fast-paced short story about Jasper and his fight to protect his pack and family. He's finally had enough, and is confronting Braxton and the council!
It was well written story and great storyline! Only one problem, it was too short!

This whole series so far is amazing each book we get more about each character and the troubles they are going through. Jasper’s story is where all the fighting everything the council throw at them comes to a head and big descion need made that some might not agree with him doing especially his mate. I cant wait for Callum’s story to find out more about them all i feel like i know them as friends. A beautifully written series thats a must read you wont want to put them down.
