"The softest woman requires the hardest men to survive. Dark, gritty, and perfectly filthy--modern MC meets Mad Max in this amazing RH tale.” ~Addison Cain, USA Today bestselling author

More than one evil is waiting for me and my men. Unfortunately, the one who poses the greatest danger to those I love…might be me.

Follow the continuing adventures of Setora and her men in SOLACE, Book five of the wildly popular Saving Setora series.
From Book 1:

It all began when the road warriors found me outside Hell’s Burning, lost and dehydrated. When the bikers took me into The Compound, I thought I was saved.

Especially when, as a Violet—a rare genetic anomaly prized above all—I’m taken in and raised by one of the wealthiest men in the world. Educated and groomed by the best teachers money could buy, I mistakenly thought he had a great future planned for me, one in which I’d be cared for and cherished.

I was wrong.

For centuries, women have been sold as slaves. In my 18th year, my benefactor reveals a truth that shatters my world. I’m to be put on display before the wealthiest of society at one of the biggest auctions this world has ever seen…as a slave.

But that night at the auction, something goes wrong. I am stolen by members of the infamous Dark Legion, a road warrior crew feared the world over. Torn from the only world I have ever known, now I have not one master, but four.

I shouldn’t want these dangerous, deadly men with their leather cuts and their growling bikes, but the deeper my captors draw me into their dark and twisted world, the more I crave what they do to me. They stole me from a powerful man who’ll stop at nothing to get me back. If I don’t find a way to escape soon, my new masters might just steal my heart.

***Solace is Book five of the Saving Setora series, a dark, dystopian Reverse Harem romance with biker tones. There is no cheating, and the final book ends with an HEA for Setora and her four men. This full length novel contains triggering elements and four twisted heroes who know how to own a woman right.

I finished the book. There were a lot of things that I liked and disliked. However I am so strung out and stuck on the fact that there are two blades. Blade and book one and this new blade who just decided to show up now. It's driving me absolutely mental. I've asked one of the authors if it's the same blade. I mean it's not out of the realm of possibility right? It could be the same blade. People change MCS like they change underwear. Yeah sure you get those die hards that stay in for life but then you get some that just leave for whatever reason. And this blade, along with the first blade, have weapons and the MCs in common. So who knows? I still like to know though. I hope they find them and rip his head off. And what is a kren? I am so confused.

Had to add this note, one thing that was annoying I suppose, and very anticlimactic was a certain death. I'm not sure if it's this book or the next book that that was in, which shows you right there how anticlimatic it was. It was over too soon. And it just seemed like it was a fact-based sort of thing. Like step one, step two, step 3 finished. I'm sure you know whose death I'm talking about. Certain blue mohawk. It was blue right?

Solace is the fifth book in the Saving Setora dystopian reverse harem (RH) series (they must be read in order). I love the characters in this series more and more with each book (and every re-read too). This fifth book picks up right where the cliffhanger of book four left off - I can't speak too specifically about the contents without spoiling both it and the books preceding it, but it is packed with action and romance, and even when the story took us to a quieter/slower place I liked the detail of those moments too. Hawk was a high point in this book for me, I really enjoyed everything having to do with him in this book from beginning to end - sometimes it was just a sentence or two describing a word or a look of his - but it spoke so loudly to me about this man whose warrior order prescribes the suppression of emotion and how Setora has challenged or changed that way of life for him as their relationship has grown.
I've loved all of The Four from the very beginning (and still do!) but some additional hot MC men were introduced last book that I have been, shall we say...strongly intrigued by since their first appearance. In addition to a couple of other new guys, they are in book five as well and all of them have me clamoring for a sequel series (or two) featuring them before this one is even complete. I hope these authors feel led to write those too....because they've created a greedy monster out of me! In the meantime, I shall wait semi-patiently for book six to see what happens next for Setora and my...ahem, her... sexy Four.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review - thank you!

Normally, I love the books in this series beyond all comprehension. Like, being on the ARC team for this series is my equivalent of being in utopia. But I was slightly let down by this instalment.

The writing is still exceptional, the characters dynamics are still flawless. But Setora was a lot weaker in this book than she has been in previous ones. Yes, she's submissive, but normally there's a core of steel which shines through; not so much here. It also felt like there were fewer sex scenes than in other books, though I don't know if that's just me.

I'll never get tired of Setora and her men, but this was a bit of a disappointment compared to the high standard I've come to expect.

Hard to love, harder to let go of

I waited till getting to book 5 to make a review - as the material had to stew in my mind and soul a bit. Honestly, I am not sure I really like this series, but there is something so dark and inviting about it that you keep reading. In this dystopian world, women are scarce and the few remaining are literally chattel to the men, slaves to their masters. It feels wrong and fundamentally broken, yet the series eventually does a decent job if expressing that this is how this world just is.... and how they expect it to be. In fact, it has been like that for hundreds of years. Our modern sensibilities of right and wrong hold no place here, and if you wish to dip into this complex MC driven world, you need to leave those notions at the door.

Trigger filled and twisted, there is plenty to tempt even the most devout reader to turn away, yet there is also an underlying thread of hope - and whispers of change. I will continue the series when the next book is published.

Another amazing book in the Saving Setora Series. This book is full of action and will have your heart pounding in you chest more than once. In this book the men really have a chance to show how deep their feelings for Setora go, beyond the physical aspects. Setora cares about them just as much and is willing to do whatever she needs to, to keep them safe. Slowly they are learning more about Setora. The cliffhanger will leave you with your mouth hanging wide open. This series just keeps getting better .

That Cliffhanger Killed me !!!
The fifth book in the series is action packed from page one . My pulse raced with adrenaline as Solace starts off with Damien taking Setora from her men. Believe me the Four will stop at nothing to get her back and keep her safe...even from the unknown.
It's fast paced , filled with drama , bloodshed, heartache, crazy unbelievable twists , scorching hot sex scenes. OMG were they HOTT!!
Guess what ? No spoilers here …. secrets will be revealed with more to come in the next book .
I wish I could read the authors minds so i'd already know what happens in book six ...So excited !!

Just have more

The authors are trying to kill us. That's the only thing I can think of when I finished. Setora's story continues but with even more mystery and mayhem. I can't wait for book 6. Even if it came out tomorrow, it wouldn't be soon enough.

Jawdroping cliffhanger

I should have expected it, but can was this ending a big ONE! This book had everything I've been accustomed in this series. Action, suspense, great love scenes and a mystery you just want to unravel at all costs. Another homerun for these two incredibly talented authors. But I have to say one of the side stories is also getting my interest. T man and Cherry need their own book ladies, just saying! Hehe I neeeeeeeed to read this story so freaking bad! I mean after you made me cry because of Crash its the least you ladies can do right? Wink wink!

4*

I love this series so much, and it's probably my favorite RH series out there. With this book in particular, there were things that I loved and things that I didn't love.

In Solace, Setora is being labeled as the "Liberator," a title that is spreading like wildfire across the landscape from group to group. Everyone is learning her name, which is making the world much more dangerous for Setora, and more people are trying to get their hands on her. Her men are in full protection mode, having to navigate obstacles that they haven't faced before, and the frequency of these dangerous encounters is only increasing. Setora is being attacked on all fronts and her men are scrambling to save her.

What I liked:
For me, I live for the romance between Setora and her men. I love the angsty relationship she has with the guys, I love watching their relationships grow, and I really love seeing how the guys' feelings for Setora dictate their actions. It's the focal point of the story for me, and everything and everyone else is just noise.
These characters are so dreamy. Every book builds upon the one before in terms of Setora's relationship with her men. So with every book, they fall deeper and deeper in love. Solace was no exception to this trend, and Setora's relationship with Sheriff and Hawk in particular was focused on and developed further in this book. Setora hasn't told all of the guys that she loves them, so her relationship with the guys hasn't plateaued yet, it's still being built upon. It was so romantic and lovely to read, exactly what you want in a romance story.

What I didn't like:
I felt like there was a lot of noise in this book. There was a big thing that happened early on in the story (no spoilers) that was the focus of the first half of the book that I felt like could have been consolidated a bit. I appreciate the authors' focus on the authenticity of the characters' actions and feelings when faced with certain obstacles, but I felt like the focus was too thorough and inhibited the story from moving forward. The event I'm speaking of also happened before in this series, and I think it was handled better is that instance in terms of moving the story along quickly without sacrificing the sadness the loss that the character would have felt. The whole story sort of came to a halt for a while (or at least I felt like it did) and the focus of the writing was how sad everyone was. Then, later on in the story was another example of the authors trying to be authentic with the characters where a big thing happened with Setora (not giving anything away), and when it happened everyone talked about how they had no idea what's going on or how to deal with it. Then when Doc check out Setora, there is another discussion of how no one had any idea about what's going on with Setora. Then they hold a meeting about how they have no idea about what's going on with Setora and make a vague plan on how to move forward. Then Setora comes around and there is yet another total rehash of everything that happened when she was out, how no one has any idea what's happening, and the vague plan they have to move forward. I believe it was all in an effort to realistically describe how most people would actually act under those circumstances, but it got very redundant in my opinion.

I do appreciate the authors' commitment to character authenticity, and I understand why each scene was in the book. Although I do think that some of the scenes were a bit drawn out, I didn't feel like the scenes in their entirety were irrelevant to the story. All in all, I am happy with this book and very excited to see what comes next.

Time takes us all, one way or another…. and for Setora, it comes in the form of the "faceless man".

Setora just can’t seem to catch a break. Just barely recovered from being taken and almost killed by Saketh’s Hellhounds, she found herself face to face with her betrayer, Damien. Hell bent on taking her back; they were fortunately rescued by their ally and narrowly escaped together with her men. But it’s not without some losses on their part. Heading back home to the Grotto, her once sanctuary is no more.

Instead, the faceless man, now haunts her waking hours. He threatens not only the new life she carved for herself but the lives of her loved ones.

Setora is raised to be a perfect slave, to be a perfect companion for a master. Will she let this phantom use and control her? Or will she finally fight back for her freedom?

Darling authors, I have three words for you. SO. MANY. FEELS.

This book got me in a roller coaster ride of emotions. From nerve wracking tensions, teary eye moments, heart melting episodes and back again, I’m lucky that I’m coherent enough to write this review. It’s that good. Not to mention that MAJOR CLIFFHANGER. OMG!!! I nearly thrown my e-reader and screamed like a madwoman followed by a string of very colorful words, with that ending.

To the authors: Why do you have to do that? Why do you delight in tormenting me? WHY???

Can I have book 6 now, please? Pretty please with cherry on top? LOL.

*I received an ARC of this book from the authors in exchange for an honest review.*

This book picks up right after book 4 ends, and there is never a dull moment!
This series continues to get better with each book, and has easily moved into my favorite of all books.
The attention to detail, humor, angst and grit in each story pulls you in, and doesn't let go, even with then end of the book!!

Setora seems to have gained a bit more confidence, as she has started telling her guys how she feels, and she continues to be a light for those around her.
Sheriff has moved up in the ranking of my favorite guys, but he still has some personal demons to over come.
The rest of the guys were just as invested in keeping Setora safe, as well as trying to make her happy, injecting bits of humor into tense situations, you can't help but love them!!

The chemistry between the characters is amazing, the world building is so realistic, and the drama and angst keep building, creating so many possibilities with the story moving forward that you can hardly wait for the next one.
The ending was such a shock, I kept looking for more to the story on other pages, but we have to wait for the next release, and I am not patient!

This is a fantastic series, and book 5 is one of my favorites! Definitely start reading, and re-reading these books, you will not be sorry.

Spoilers ahead.

Five books y’all. It took FIVE BOOKS to properly fûcking label whose POV we were reading from. Jesus Christ.

Seriously impressed with the multiple POVs back to back. I was getting so tired of only reading Setora’s POV for 90% of each book.

Damien is stupid af. His whole speech about protecting Setora for the last twelve years and pretending he cares about her makes zero sense. He just knocked her tf out, he also tried to sell her on her 18th birthday and made it clear that he only put enough time into her to make money.

The author seems to forget what’s already been written. Pup’s patch was already burned, Latch’s was given to Crash, yet back in the Grotto, they put Pup and Latch’s cuts on the pyre? 🙄

Other than the few typos and the forgetful repeats of contradictory crap, this book was by far awesome.

I still cannot express enough how much I love that he got several different POV throughout the entire book. Hope this continues for the finals two.

Also, super obvious who D was.
Called it the moment they put D instead of an actual name.

I was given a ARC copy for my honest opinion. If reverse harem with dark elements is your thing then this book (series) is for you.
This book is worth so much more then 5 stars. Book 5 started off with lots of action and picked up right where book 4 (Seer) had left off. This book just like the other 4 books in the series did not disappoint. The ending was great twist to it but left with another cliffhanger. Just hate cliffhangers lol I can’t believe it ended where it did, just wanted more. I really wanted to scream at that point, but I know the next book will make up for it and will be worth the wait. This series has been one of my all time favorites this past year and one I can reread over and over. It honestly just keeps getting better and better with each book that comes out. These two authors really pull you into this world the created and take you on an adventure with these characters. The main MC’s have grown so much through out this series and I can’t wait to see them to continue to grow. I already can’t wait for the next book !

Guys!!
Holy moly!!
This is one of my favorite dark RH series.
I can't get enough of it.

In the fifth installment of Saving Setora series, it picks up right where book four left off.
Damien has just revealed himself and the crew is surrounded.

I don't want to say too much because it will spoil the story for you.

The tone of this book was a little different from the others.
Mainly because this one focuses on the meat of what this series will be about-instead of the intimacy between the guys and Setora.
We get to see the guys show their true feelings more and more here-especially Sheriff.
They aren't hiding what they feel for Setora, instead not caring who knows how they feel.

Some crazy things happen in this story that reveal a lot about questions we've been gathering over the last several books.
Some are answered, while more are added.

Overall, it is a fantastic read.
If you've been keeping up with the series, you already know that.
If you haven't started, I highly recommend picking it up!

Saving Setora book five

This book is named well. Setora is a female violet that seems to be in a jam everytime you turn around. The four as they are called (Sheriff, Hawk, Pretty boy, and Steel) are her masters. They will do anything to keep her safe, but how do you keep her safe from an enemy you have never heard. One that can pop into her head and use her to speak with his voice. Well according to the four you go looking for answers and someone some where has them. Setora has no idea or memories when it comes to her being controlled but her masters will find away to keep her safe even if it means they will go to the end of the world, but yet again trouble seems to find them. The ups, downs, twist and turns in this book will keep you reading "just one more page" until its finished. Plots with twists you did not expect keeps you interested in the book til your begging for more. I highly recommend this series and look forward to more. (Reviewed and read on KU)

I was drawn to this storyline from the start. I love a darker themed book and this series has it. So be warned that if you don't like dark stories, then another series is for you. However if you love them like I do, this will become one of your favorites.

You get a lot with Solace. Questions get answered. We get some of the Sheriffs background, which I have been waiting for. We get some pov from the guys, I enjoyed seeing how they felt and thought. Setora's relationship with them is changing and I f'ing love it!! We get some movement that I have finally been waiting for, on the relationship front. This series I just cannot say enough good things about. Yes there is a cliffhanger, but I expect those in a series so it was no big deal for me. Overall, this is a fantastic dark read and I cannot wait for more.

Setora and The Four’s troubles don’t end when they finally return to the Grotto. And they soon find themselves travelling again to search for answers to Setora’s seemingly psychic abilities and the weird behaviour exhibited by the Violets they’d encountered at the Summit.

Whilst I’m still enjoying this series, and I remain invested in the characters HEA, some of the recurring ‘dangers’ and near constant stream of villains are both beginning to feel a bit ‘samey’, and as a result the story feels a little drawn-out at this point. There are lots of plot threads to unravel already and this book (book 5 in the series), in particular, seems to introduce even more into the mix. I’m not certain it needed to be this complicated 🧐. But no matter, I’m in this ‘til the end! 🙃

This series keeps getting better and better with each book. I literally read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down, it was so good. Setora’s journey is getting more and more complex in finding out who and what she is. The bonds she’s formed with her hot men are not only getting steamer but also sturdier. This series is so unusual and not your typical MC romance. all The characters have so many sides to them and the story line is pure genius. I’m literally on the edge of my seat, foaming at the mouth waiting for more. You will not regret reading this book and will quickly become as much as a fan as I am.

Good writing and interesting story, just sloooooooow

I've enjoyed reading all of these books, but they're starting to drag a but for me. One harrowing experience leads to a cliffhanger ending, then 80%of the book is recovering from said experience, with the last 10% setting up another cliffhanger ending. Yet the characters don't really change or evolve and while I get that Setora's submissiveness is part of the premise, it's becoming her only characteristic. She was so active and dynamic in book 4 and literally spent most of this book asleep or recovering from being knocked out.

Solace takes us much further into the minds of Setora's men. Most of the story was told from their perspectives and it was a fun and refreshing change. Seeing the depth of emotion they all hide in order to live in their world was amazing. The story opens up and gives us many more clues into the bigger picture and it seems intricately complex. The more supernatural characteristics of the violets is starting to be explained and it is so intriguing. This series is so well written with relatable characters despite the dystopian setting. I can't wait to see where the story leads us next!

Can we just go ahead and dub these ladies as the queens of shocking endings?? The last book left us in the clutches of Damien and this book leaves us just as dumbfounded and on the edge. Bravo ladies.
This book picks up right where we left off, with Damien. When the legion finally makes it back to the grotto, it is with great loss. Oh my heart. We have some questions answered and more questions popping up.
We don’t get as much time alone with the four in this one bc there is so much more going on. This series just keeps getting better and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Oh yes!! The very last word of the book was worth it all!! Oh man, what the next book could become. This book has a lot of sh*t happen to our people. Lots of new people that I really don’t trust, finding out who the faceless man is, well, sort of. Lots of twists and turns for our lovely Setora. This is just bringing all of the things they’ve gone through closer to the big ending. Although I have no idea what that will be. Another great chapter in our story. Very excited for whatever comes next.

Saving Setora is a series that does not disappoint. Where so many other series become predictable and repetitive after the first few books, this series continues to deliver and enthrall me with every release. 5 books in now and I remain on the edge of my seat dying to know the details of Setora’s history and what will happen next to the ‘Worldmaker’. Seriously cannot wait for the next installment - I need to know all the details now! Do yourself a favor and read this series. So different, so jarring, so good!

FANTASTIC!!!
This series is fascinating. Raven and Petra weave quite the tale together. I love their writing styles. This storyline keeps getting better and better. Granted, it does end in a cliffhanger, but that only leaves you wanting more. I have no doubt that Raven and Petra will deliver once again. Incredibly written, these two shine together. This is definitely one series you don't want to miss.

Truly amazing. Once more, I was immediately transported into Setora’s world. And when the book ended, I was left waiting for more.
I love the relationship development. And I’m truly curious to see how things will work with Sheriff and Hawk in particular.
These authors managed a good balance between romance and action in this installment.
This book was definitely a rollercoaster of emotion. There were some real highs and lows, and I’m curious to see what the fallout will be.

I liked how the relationships between Setora and (some of) her men progressed in this book, it also made me cry but there was something missing. Maybe it was the relatively easy way they managed to get out of every bad situation that they had goitten themselves into, maybe it was Setora's secrecy (her unwillingness to tell everything and keeping secrets). Anyways, I really look forward to the last book of the series.

The gang are back and what a ride it was. It was packed full of drama and even when you think you know where it was heading the authors throw you onto another path which had my head in a spin.. I love this series and the way the authors just suck you into their world with ease. The story just flows from book to book with ease and it keeps getting better and better. I cant wait to read what else happens with Setora and her men and also the conclusion to that cliff hanger.
