"The softest woman requires the hardest men to survive. Dark, gritty, and perfectly filthy--modern MC meets Mad Max in this amazing RH tale.” ~Addison Cain, USA Today bestselling author
While the evil that’s been hunting me draws closer, my past resurfaces, forcing me and my men into a life or death battle. One thing’s for sure. We won’t give up without a fight.
Follow the continuing adventures of Setora and her men in SURRENDER, the sixth book of the wildly popular Saving Setora series. From Book 1:
It all began when the road warriors found me outside Hell’s Burning, lost and dehydrated. When the bikers took me into The Compound, I thought I was saved.
Especially when, as a Violet—a rare genetic anomaly prized above all—I’m taken in and raised by one of the wealthiest men in the world. Educated and groomed by the best teachers money could buy, I mistakenly thought he had a great future planned for me, one in which I’d be cared for and cherished.
I was wrong.
For centuries, women have been sold as slaves. In my 18th year, my benefactor reveals a truth that shatters my world. I’m to be put on display before the wealthiest of society at one of the biggest auctions this world has ever seen…as a slave.
But that night at the auction, something goes wrong. I am stolen by members of the infamous Dark Legion, a road warrior crew feared the world over. Torn from the only world I have ever known, now I have not one master, but four.
I shouldn’t want these dangerous, deadly men with their leather cuts and their growling bikes, but the deeper my captors draw me into their dark and twisted world, the more I crave what they do to me. They stole me from a powerful man who’ll stop at nothing to get me back. If I don’t find a way to escape soon, my new masters might just steal my heart.
***Surrender the sixth book of the Saving Setora series, a dark, dystopian Reverse Harem romance with biker tones. There is no cheating, and the final book ends with an HEA for Setora and her four men. Longer than the other installments, this full length novel contains triggering elements and four twisted heroes who know how to own a woman right.
As a young girl Raven Dark dreamed of being abducted by a savage alien warrior, whisked away by a brutal pirate, or rescued by a cape-bearing hero. When none of these men came to claim her, she brought them to life in her stories. Then twenty years ago she met the man of her dreams. He doesn't wear a cape, fly a spaceship, or wield a sword, but sometimes she swears they've mind melded.
Raven lives with her dream man in the Mundane world's version of Ontario, Canada.
This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, I think it’s the most dramatic of the series so far. I have really been immersed In this world the authors created.
There was so much to love about this book. It was fast paced and moved from scene to scene quickly. There was no dawdling or fluff, which I appreciated.
This book featured intimate moments better Setora and her all of her four. I loved how the steamy scenes were scattered throughout in places that you would not necessarily expect them. It made for an exciting read that didn't leave you wanting. You saw a softer side of the four when that were caring for Setora. It was so sweet. But then you saw their other side and the lengths that will go to keep Setora safe.
There were a many emotional scenes between Setora and others that really gave me the feels. You saw this side of Setora that's very relatable and allows you to connect with her on that emotional level.
There was were so many jaw-dropping moments, that I couldn't tell if this was a romance, horror, thriller, or all of the above. It was such a page-turner for that reason, I couldn't put it down. I loved it!
Okay, words are failing me. I cannot express how much I love this book. I am absolutely speechless after reading it. I didn’t care at all that I read this all through the night and were a walking zombie during work. I didn’t care. It was all worth it.
Man, the authors did it again! It was non-stop action packed, grip-your-seat, nail biting suspense from start to finish. Especially that ending! ARGH! OMG! Please, please, please authors. I am begging you, say it isn’t so. Not my Sheriff, please! I need book 7, right now!
I received an ARC and I’m choosing to leave an honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
In this book there were so many grammar issues, historical issues, just random things that they'll be completely insane.
Even after talking to one of the authors, I still didn't understand some of the stuff that happened but, I was not going to delve into it. I just figured, I got a few answers, and that was enough.
We, still at book 6, do not know why she is bleeding blue. We do not know why this Julian character is after her. We do not know what a world maker is. And we still don't know what a kren is.
I like the series. Don't get me wrong. There are just some things that are starting to get on my nerves. And I'm trying so hard just to kind of look past it all, especially now that I know that it was written by two different authors, with two different opinions. But, explaining things better does not make a book more complexity needs to be.
Explaining things, like personalities, different identities, helps the reader understand what is going on in the book.
And the fact that I still don't know what the hell is going on, tells me that something got lost in translation. You would assume by now we would know at least part of the things above.
There are other women out there with this Stari that they keep yammering on about. So why does it specifically have to be satora? Do you see my pain? Do you understand now why I'm so stressed out?
Again as I said, it is a good series. And if you have a patience for it, I highly recommend reading it. But I swear to god, if this stuff is not explained in the last book, yeah you heard me, the last book coming up, then I don't know if I can give the authors another chance after this. Because these are things that need to be explained.
And I'm sure my review of this book, or the series overall, shown here, is likely going to get hate mail or somebody's going to be pissed off or whatever. These are my thoughts. And it just seems that I have to sugarcoat everything I say so I don't offend somebody. But in reality, these are things that we need to know. We need to understand these things. We need to know why her blood is blue, or what this kren thing is. I strongly believe making us wait until the end of the series to find out this information was kind of unfair. I think we should have at least had hints about it or a tease here and there. Just telling us her blood is blue doesn't mean anything. It would have been cool if there were like healing properties in her blood to give to other people. Or these would be signs of her being an alien. Or an alien race and come to Earth to replenish the earth. But nothing like that is given throughout the entire series. It's just all about her being kidnapped, or her being the damseling distress. She's a violet for fuck's sake. She's a queen. She ain't no damseling distress. She is what people make her. And these Pirates making her weak? They don't deserve her. As much as I love Hawk, they don't deserve her. At least Hawk is trying to help her.
As you can see, I'm a tad passionate about the books that I read. If I'm going to invest the time, I'm going to invest the thought process as well. I'm going to invest in understanding the book, understanding the characters, sharing my opinions of each character. Or at least of series.
I have to be honest and say although it's a great series, tons of potential, there were so many errors, and so much miscommunication, and like I said not enough description on people. That I ended up getting confused a lot.
Also that death scene with the other motorcycle club, so anti-climatic. Read the book you'll see what I mean
All right I'll stop bitching now. I'm going to go read the last book. If you have read this book please contact me. Send me a message. I want to talk to you. I want to know what you think of the book. I want to know what you think about the king lol. And no I don't mean a person, if you read the book you know what I'm talking about.

Surrender: Saving Setora Book 6 By Raven Dark and Petra J. Knox Finally, the highly anticipated installment to the Saving Setora series is here!!!!! As with the others in the series book 6 picks up where book 5 left off. There is nothing simple about this series and the trials that they have gone thru for Setora leaves this reader in shock. Who would think a group of pirates would love so deeply and risk so much to keep her safe? Book 6 is packed full of adventure with a big twist that I didn’t see coming. We do get some answers in this book regarding Setora’s mother and where she has been for years along with what happened to her brother Dax. Reading about Setora’s mother and the love she has found with Mayhem was sweet. The hope is to find a specialist who can help with understanding what is happening with the violets. Will they finally get the answers they are seeking? I don’t want to give anything away since there is a big twist in this book, but I will tell you this reader was jumping for joy and screaming take that you a**hole. You got what is coming to you. I know that could be many different characters in this series. You are just going to have to read to find out which one. As we move through the pages and things heat up you can see things starting to shift for our characters. The love the four leaders have for Setora has been there since book 1 but it has reached a point that I have not seen in any other books I have read. The devotion to keeping her safe and willing to give up their life for her is nothing less that incredible. Even Sherriff seems to have shifted and makes some decisions that will break your heart. The book ends in a good place but I am in shock and I need the next book to ser WTF happens. There were cheers, tears, anger, fear and awe as I read this book. There is nothing straight forward about the characters or adventures they are forced to endure. I tried to read slow to savor it like a fine wine but found myself eager to turn the page. Book 6 was intended to be the final book in the series however, our dynamic writing duo has seen fit to ensure the ending lives up to the rest of the series and decided to givie us one more book to finish off Setora’s story. There is still some unanswered question in this story and I know we will be disappointment to see it end. I do however eagerly await the next book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!!!!
Holy hell, this book literally stole my evening, and my breath!!
You know the expression "I was on the edge of my seat"? Well, I started reading this book sitting normally, good posture etc, and 3/4 of the way through, I truly was on the edge of my seat, almost fell on the floor as I was so close to the edge! There was so much action in the 2nd half of this book, but the planning that took place leading up to the action was just as exciting, leaving us to wonder what would happen.
Each book in this series takes it up a notch in suspense, and it also kicks up the feelings and emotions the reader experiences. I am not one to get lost in a story, or to identify with characters, but the way this was written, I could almost feel their pain, both physically and emotionally, it was so well written.
We see the main male characters separated from Setora for a time, and the authors allowed the readers to see inside the thoughts of Sheriff, PB, Hawk and Steel (the 4), showing how they truly feel, and it was beautiful. Sheriff took a few steps back in his emotional development, and then a few giant leaps forward, I can understand how Setora would be confused in her own feelings for him, but I think finally she understands him more, and we as readers get to understand as well.
This was another excellent book in a fantastic series!! I understand that the authors plan to complete the series with the next book, and I am both waiting anxiously, but also dreading the conclusion, as this is such a rich story, with character and story leaps taken with each new book, I do not want it to end. Hopefully they will decide that 7 books is still not enough to complete the story, and we get even more books.
I highly recommend this entire series, and I commend the authors on their ability to draw a readers attention, and keep it for the long term.
Ya know, I finally stopped hating Sheriff in the last book, I didn’t like him, but I no longer hated him, until Chapter three. He just had to remind us of what a douchecanoe, POS he really is. Doing something sexual to her in front of her mom and then making fun of her when she asked him to stop is disgusting.
Basically sexually assaults her in a room full of people including her mother, then tried to justify it by saying: “Because. I want you all to myself. I don’t want you to love anyone else. I don’t want you to need to be anywhere else, or to see another future other than the one with me.”
He’s officially the most idiotic character I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading. In what way does humiliating someone, disregarding their feelings, and making it clear their nothing more than a slave show that you’re worthy of being loved? Ugh.
You’d also think Sheriff’s dumbass would learn to listen when Setora tells him something isn’t right. She told him before he was almost killed, she told him on the way to Delta, she told him something was off every time something terrible happened, she even tried warning Steele before the Dregs ambushed them again, but no. Sheriff is a sexist pig that has zero common sense and now the very man she warned him about, kidnapped her.
Aside from Sheriff being the worst, this book was pretty good. Definitely enjoyed all the different POVs, but I also feel like this story didn’t need to be dragged out over 7 different books. There are a lot of unnecessary details and explanations. The typos are annoying too.
We are getting close to the end. I'm not ready for this series to end, but I am ready to have closure.
In this particular book, we get a little bit more information about what is going on. It picks up where book five left off, with Setora seeing her mother again after so long. A person she thought was dead. We already knew the mother was suffering from the same problems as Setora and a doctor has now been called in.
I don't want to give too much away, but I will let you know that there are several twists and turns in this book that you don't see coming.
If I had to rank the books in order from favorite to least, I'm not sure where this one would rank. It's not one of my top favorites, but it is still an amazing read.
We get to see the guys fall further in love with Setora. As well as Setora realize how much she loves each of the guys. The scene with her realizing her feelings for Sheriff--probably one of my favorites in the whole story. It was an epic love scene.
Words cannot express the love I have for this series. It is dark, gritty, and romantic. All rolled into one epic series.
If you haven't picked up this series yet, I highly recommend you doing so. I think we only have one book left. I'm not crying, you're crying! I don't know how this will wrap up, but I'm desperate to find out.
Overall, fantastic read and read it if you haven't yet.
Though I would have to do a re-read (yes, another one - to heck with my TBR!) of the series to properly rank each book so far, I already know this one would be high on the list. Book six in the series really brought home the character arc Setora has taken from her initial oppressed slave days at Hell's Burning to the freedom of choosing to be a treasured member of the Dark Legion. Her impact on the sexy Four - Pretty Boy (mine), Steel (also mine), Hawk (deliciously mine) and Sheriff (ohsodefinitely mine) has been wonderful to watch too, and there is zero doubt (was there ever?) that they love her wholeheartedly. There is action, danger and sexy romance galore as the Dark Legion yet again finds themselves facing impossible odds and countless villains. As these authors are wont to do, this book ends in a cliffhanger of sorts, though I think not as nail-biting as some of the previous books. The next book is noted to be the final in the series, and though I'll be sad to see it go, if there is anyone who deserves a happy ending, it is the Dark Legion, who have been through some....stuff. And by the Maker, it better be happy!
Oh flipping fracking H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!! This story and these authors. I swear they are trying to kill me dead. Just absolutely d-e-a-d.
Honestly, I love the entire Setora series, and I count down the seconds until I can get ahold of the next book. When I'm reading these books, I can't put them down. I can't take my eyes off the book. Sometimes it feels like I can't even breathe. That's how intense they are and how much I get involved in them.
In this one, there's so much going on. We have long lost people found, other people who are lying and have terrible motives behind their actions, and enemies everyone want to be dead. We also have Setora and her men and Masters, Hawk, Steel, Pretty Boy, and Sheriff. Her relationship with them as a group and with each of them individually is evolving, constantly evolving, and I think for the better.
I like some of the changes in this book and truly hate some of the others. I mean, I almost kind of want to hate the authors, and I did cry at some points. I was exhilarated and sad and mad and happy all at once at the end, and I'm just biting my nails until I can get to the next one, because dang, it's going to be soo good.
If reverse harem with dark elements is your thing then this book (series) is for you. I was given a ARC for my honest opinion. This book like the last five started off with a bang. Every question I had from the last book was answered right in the beginning. These authors really know how to pull you into the world they created. Poor Setora still can’t catch a break something is always happening to her, hopefully sooner or later she can. The action scenes in the book were well written and great. I really don’t want to give a lot away in this review. I loved how this book had more family dynamic in this book, really showed how the characters have grown through this series. The ending was one you wouldn’t be expecting that’s for sure. I actually like Sheriff more now after reading this book. Each book gets better and better. Can’t wait for more from them.
This! ugh, it's taken me a bit to get my reviews to work again, but now that I'm back... It's on! I absolutely loved this book. I think it's my fav. In the series. I love the answers we get about some key characters from previous books and love what's happening with the characters. (yes, even sheriff.) I can't tell you enough times that I would recommend this series. It's amazing, full of adventure, off the charts with how impeccable the storyline is, and the characters are in my top 5 fav to read about. the pace of the story is perfect. Not too fast, not too slow. I don't base my reviews off of edits, (Even though there were none that I found wrong.) I base my reviews off of my opinion of the storyline and how well the author or authors, in this case, can bring together characters and make an epic series. These ladies have hit it out of the park and I can't wait to read more from them!
I started this series 2 days ago and I've completely devoured all 6 books with no breaks. The story, the characters are just soooo good! I love Setora and how she grows and always does what is right. I love her men, who adore her despite their old fashioned, narrow minded views. As always Trouble follows Setora like a moth to a flame. She manages to find herself kidnapped once again but this time things go a little differently. Her men, desperate to get her back, have to take a much more practical and humble approach to get her back. This book answers several questions and deals with one of the major issues hounding Setora. As per usual, this one had all the feels - the heart pounding, edge of your seat emotional roller coaster that I'm obviously a masochist for...and can I say how much I adore hearing from all of the men's pov!!!!
Another Page Turner Intense , life altering events unfold within book six of the Saving Setora series . I am still processing what that ending could mean for everyone . The physical and mental torture Setora and her Four have to endure at the hands of their enemies is brutal .These men will go to any lengths to save the woman that they love. Even if it means their lives come to an abrupt end . I can't wait for book seven I could not believe what was happening as I turned from one page to the next. It was crazy all the action , suspense, Heartache , Drama and OMG the sex scenes were Drool worthy . I've been asked a question before . "If you could enter into any book world . which one would you venture?" Hands down I wish I could magically enter this world .
Setora and her boys are back to take us further into their world. A lot of questions are answered by they leave a lot more unanswered. Its action packed and it keeps you guessing the whole way through and as soon as you think you know where your going another fork in the road opens up and leads you elsewhere. There are twists and turns a plenty and we learn more about the elusive Julian and we also see more of past characters. I love this book, this world and this whole journey and I cant wait to see what happens in the final book. I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book and here is my honest review.
I am so glad it finally happened. Setora being taken was kind of getting old. I feel like every other page, she gets kidnapped and taken to Damien or someone else. The poor girl. It was starting to feel very repetitive. But finally, things are starting to change. In this one we learn more about Julien, I can't wait until that finally goes down. But I was satisfied with this book. I have high hopes that the next one will be different from the last couple of them. I always love the sexy scenes and the men but now I want to learn more about what makes Setora truly different from any other Violets.
Things are really getting serious in the 6th Saving Setora book. The entire book was drenched in this intensity that occurs when something big and bad is coming. There are definitely bright spots for Setora snd and her Four, but the trials they are forced into are monumental. The crew survive, but are certainly changed and now they go into the final battle. I'm so excited to finally see Setora become who she was meant to be. Well written, interesting, and well paced, Surrender kept my nose in my book from beginning to end.
Another Raven Dark and Jenifer Knox masterpiece! I know I'm biased since I have a HUGE love affair with The Four, but this book.... this book... Damn, it killed me so many times I had to have kleenex beside me at all times. Incredible!! If you haven't yet dug into this spectacular series, YOU HAVE TO! Thank you, ladies, for giving us this story and the beautiful heartbreak along with it. Can't wait until it's finale even though I'm not sure what I'll do with myself once this series ends. Thank the lord for Cherry!! <3 <3 <3
I am loving this series so much! It seems like it just keeps getting better and better!!
I love watching Setora evolving as a character, from a slave to a something to be treasured by the sexy four!! Pretty Boy, Steel, Hawk and Sheriff. Now Hawk and Sheriff I have gone back and forth on but really at the end of the day it makes me want them more!! There is no doubt that they love Setora.
The action, drama, danger, and lots of just a more connected family feel to me. Surrender was well written, as this duo usually does, and kept me reading to find out what happens next.
Setora and The Four’s visit to the Angels of Mayhem, at Hollow Hill delivers the biggest shock yet for the young and troubled Violet. But danger lurks unseen, and soon she finds herself back in Hell’s Burning. What happens there threatens to change her, and her men’s lives forever.
The story is really picking up pace now, heading towards the series finale. I’ve grown to love Setora, Hawk, Sheriff, Pretty Boy and Steel, as well as the ensemble of other characters in this series. I just hope they all make it to the end, (relatively) unscathed. 🤞🏼
FANTASTIC STORYLINE!!! Raven and Petra have done it again. This is the 6th book in the Savings Setora series, and they just keep getting better. With threats of both Damian and Julian looming, the four will do everything in their power to keep Setora safe. But do they really have what it takes? Or will she finally be lost to them forever? This is a dark, reverse harem series with a storyline that will keep you turning pages until the end and begging for more. I loved it.
This series is just one of the best examples of Dark RH done right! Perfect in its pitch and beat and the gorgeous prose used all through out. Yes this book will hurt your heart a little but it will also set your mind at ease that some evils are now set to rest. What will be the big finale for Setora and our four? Only the incredible authors of this story know and I place my faith in them completely!
So Good!! These books keep getting better. This book will have you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't stop reading . I love how Setora is such a loving person. She only wants to help others and stay away from Damien and Julian So many things happen in this book. The mysterious doctor is not who everyone believes he is. I don't want to give away any spoilers. This book is amazing an you must read it!!
I waited for this book to come out, expecting it to be the last one, but Raven and Petra were hit hard by their muses and there will be one more book coming after this one. Surrender was chock full of story, so I can definitely see why there had to be one more in the series. Without any spoilers, we learn a lot more about Julian, and go through some tough times with the Dark Legion. It was an awesome read. I took my time with it, not wanting it to end.
I’m finding Setora more and more annoying. She doesn’t learn, she offers herself to the bad guy in every book despite the severe punishment for doing so just a few books ago. We have not moved forward in our knowledge of her abilities or destiny and I’m getting frustrated. I found myself wading through this book instead of eagerly devouring each page. Such a shame when the series started off with such promise and at this point I’m not even sure I have the appetite to finish it.
Oh man each book continues to get better and better! We get to learn some more about what happened to Setora's family as well as get to meet her mother. Setora and her Four go through some rough trials in this one. Some mental, emotional, and physical torture. Plus that ending! I am definitely excited for what's next!
The familial reunion is bittersweet. The Four needed to up their emotional maturity a little sooner they just don't give that girl a break! Overall I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the final one! You know they're good book boyfriend material when you want to strangle them while loving them too.
