Sometimes, the terrorists that get the news headlines aren't necessarily the ones we need to worry about. When Sam and his team go up against a whole new group, he learns firsthand just how dangerous it can be to square off against people whose disregard for life is surpassed only by their desire for power.

Unfortunately, the only way to trap these particular monsters is by baiting the trap with some of the most dangerous weapons the world has ever produced. Sam is nervous about letting them get their hands on these massive nukes, but after being assured that they won't get away, he goes along. Now all he has to do is survive, and save the world from the monsters he's unleashed.

Will this be Sam Prichard's last adventure?

Another Fine Novel by David Archer albeit s little too quickly

This 18th Sam Pritchard story has all your favorite characters in this world and a few more. What begins as a rescue of a kidnapping victim turns into international terrorism very quickly. The action is all there with so many twists that it seems a bit rushed like it should have been an another 100 pages worth to give the stories time to be more flushed of or should I say to me, I would have liked to see that more. Maybe it's just that good that I couldn't put it down and read it too quickly.

This was so layered with complications and surprises. It is set in Minneapolis where I live, in April during an unseasonably warm week culminating in very intense storms. Some times it snows in April and sometimes there is a heatwave and tornado activity. Some of the relationships are long standing and professional. Some are more intimate and very new. Some are not what they seem. If you live or have ever lived in the Twin Cities you will recognize the neighborhoods . This is the second of a great series written by a mother daughter team.

Live Bait (Sam Prichard Book #18; Sam and Indie Book #7) by David Archer....
Sam and his team go up against a dangerous terrorist cell who have their own depraved agendas... The best way to put them out of action is to lure the group into a trap by offering the most irresistible bait. So, weapons of mass destruction enter the mix to lure the extremist group into a trap- which adds even greater danger and complication to an already intense situation. Can Sam and the team save the day, yet again? Or has their time and luck finally run out?

Outstanding!!

I have enjoyed every single book of Sam Prichard. And, there is no way Sam will ever quit. Kenzie and Bo means to much for him to not protect them. And most of all Indie.
The story was intense that it had me on the edge that I stayed up all night until this morning to finish it.
Great job Mr. Archer, please keep those stories coming. I truly believe you have something exciting is in store for Kenzie.

Best in a While

I really enjoyed this exciting very well written and enjoyable episode in the adventures of Sam Prichard, family and friends! The story was engaging and action packed and the descriptions, informative and comprehensive! Unfortunately there has to be a minor but... The ending was too convenient and a bit contrived. When Heinrich Wegner got away I thought we'd seem again in future stories... Oh Well!

In the latest book in the Sam/Indie series, they face the most dangerous villain in their history. The villain is a Hitler type individual who plans to make Africa into a Super Power. The most interesting part if the story is about all of the Survival Shelters in our country. The author describes the amount of supplies and how long people could survive in these underground buildings. Great book and awesome ending

Central African nations with its beauty and there are those that think it is time for them to be the leaders of the new free world.
McCabe Electronic Technologies his sixteen year old girl is kidnapped.
Trying to force him to merge with one in Ethiopia.Heinrick is like a Hitler, he wants power, a twenty year old dream of the massive nukes he wants to own. Using that as a bait to draw him. It backfires on Sam and the team, with Indie being taken as a hostage. A lot of nuclear technology in it,
overall a good plot with all the different characters .

Sam n clan all become live bait in Prichard mystery!

I've said before that there is just a bit too much bravado in a David Archer novel. I truly enjoy the essence of the characters. Every body, even the adversary, shines a bit brighter and plays at the top of the game because of Sam Prichard. Certainly works for me.. Read it n see for yourself

Just keeps getting better!

Sam’s company Windglass, takes on a terrorist who is planning on finding and using nuclear weapons that had been stored in secret. Sam uses himself as bait to catch the terrorist but then things go haywire. The action picks up and keeps on going.

David Archer is habit forming and compares with Baldacci in his creation of characters that have memorable identities.
I like his attention to details and broad knowledge of many diverse subjects.
He is a national treasure.

Good story. Fitting end for Sam's career fiction but.... The premise is too real. There are bad People in the world.

Except for the fortune telling ghost, this series offers a different story about the terrorist organizations than most of the others I have read. Not bad but not good.
