The Days of Elijah #1-4

The Days of Elijah-The Complete Box Set

Rate this book

Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and Seven Vials of God's Wrath are about to be poured out upon the earth, and woe to the inhabitants thereof!

After a massive wave of disappearances, twenty-six-year-old CIA analyst, Everett Carroll, finally believes what he’s been told about the biblical prophecy of the rapture. But will he be able to survive the gauntlet of destruction known as the Great Tribulation?

Global currencies have collapsed, famine and plague have claimed the lives of millions, and the world has crumbled into chaos. The only reason Everett and his girlfriend, Courtney, have survived the mayhem is because they were warned by John Jones, Everett’s recently deceased boss, that all of these tragedies would occur. And what’s more, through his inside knowledge at the agency, mixed with his interpretation of prophecy, Jones predicted that a world leader would ride in on a white horse to fix the ills of the planet. But who is this leader and what is his motivation for mandating the new identification implant and the global cashless currency?

Everett is surprised when he finds out that Elijah, the Messianic Jewish hermit who lives on the mountain above their retreat, did not disappear along with the rest of the Christians. When he tells Everett of a special mission that God has given him, the old prophet gives Everett more questions than answers.

This is the highly-anticipated follow-up series to the best-selling trilogy, The Days of Noah, which chronicles the economic, moral, and social collapse of the United States.

This box set contains all four books of the saga, including; Book One: Apocalypse, Book Two: Wormwood, Book Three: Angel of the Abyss, and Book Four: The Seventh Vial.

The Days of Elijah is a fast-paced thrill ride through the last days in America. Buy your copy of this end-times sensation today . . . if you can stomach the peril!

As with all books by Mark Goodwin, this novel contains no foul language and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this story might not be for you.

Best series on the Tribulation

Just finished reading the 4-book series The Days of Elijah. I could not put it down. The only other series I had read was Left Behind. While that one was good, this one delved more into the characters of people who had not been raptured but became Believers and accepted Christ afterwards. The story follows them through to the Second Coming. Many believers are lost along the way, and my heart ached with each one who died. The action is intense, and the author conveys it so well, as well as the rush of emotions felt by the lead characters. It may not be exactly the way things will happen during the seven years of God's wrath, but it's certainly possible. I don't want to be here to judge how close the story came to reality - that much is certain! This one needs to be made into a movie to get the word out to more people - don't wait to accept the free gift of salvation while you still can. You really don't want to be here during the Tribulation.

Terrific Read

This set will compel the reader to not put the books down. It is spell binding in the story content but also has great Bible truths. I have always had trouble with reading my Bible and understanding what I was reading. By putting this into a story (with understandable words) I have been able to follow what the Bible has been delivering. We are so close to the end of time and life as we know it. The Messiah is coming back soon for all the believers. I believe God is giving us a chance to get ready, if we are not yet, to accept His gift of eternal live.
Mark Goodwin, In my opinion, did a fantastic job of detailing what is to come and how to prepare ourselves if we miss the first chance to be among those that know and love God and Jesus, the Saviour.

Just read it!

Although this series is fiction about the end times, you'll want to have a Bible that includes the Old and New Testament handy. The King James translation is considered closest to the original writings, however, for me it's more difficult to understand. Mark Goodwin's "The Days of Elijah" is pretty close to how I would expect the Tribulation to be. I don't plan on missing the Rapture, but for the sake of some of the left behind I hope a number of those who take the mark can redeem themselves by repenting and becoming martyrs for Christ. Read it, you'll be glad that you did.

I read The Days of Noah again before starting this book as they go together. This is a great series. The author doesn't push any particular belief at you, but I was easily able to think of what happens as the pre-trib rapture. Others might see it as something else. The author did a good job of staying true to scripture and showing how things might play out. The Days of Noah box set takes you through the rapture and this one tackles the tribulation. He has a very interesting idea about Elijah and Moses and how they might come to be here to be the two witnesses! I won't say more as I don't want to spoil it for you. I really enjoyed this series and I'm sure you would too!

Very informative and exciting

Try reading this about 2 months after you read it for the first time. I was harsh in my first review complaining about the comic book action words but completely missing the awesomeness of Jesus’ return. Whether we will go to Him pre-trib, mid trib, or post trib doesn’t really matter as long as we have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. I learned a great deal about one possible way to Him but I suspect I will get a personal invitation sooner then that. But no man knows the day or hour....

Remember, this is fiction. Just like every author, Mark Goodwin uses real-life events and other material as inspiration for his stories. It's fiction inspired by the non-fiction.
I really enjoy Mark Goodwin's writing. He writes for the veteran prepper and the novice. The political, secular, and Christian narratives unfold in the telling of his relatable stories. You'll recognize similar events to real-life current events without feeling like you're being fed a cheesy story. For a "Christian" book, it has some shocking scenes that I did not expect but was unexpectedly pleased with.

Glory

I have read the entire series including The Days of Noah. I found all intriguing and interesting. I loved the Scripture throughout the books. As a followed believer and Christian, I am always interested in a our Saviors second coming. I highly recommend this series to all believers and nonbelievers to strengthen their faith or for the nonbelievers to lead them to our Savior.

End Times Prophesy

If anything brings end times to life, it is Mark Goodwin’s tribulation series. It is one thing to read Revelations about existential events, but to see fictional characters cope with globalists governments, devastating fires, rivers of blood, devastating hailstones, and comets poisoning waters really makes a lasting impression. That the chapters are introduced by scripture makes the stories all the more real.

A well-thought-out book of fiction that sticks closely to Scripture!

This is the ultimate end of times book series. I could not put it down. Though a work of fiction, the author weaves his story without changing a Biblical scripture. And what an imagination he has! Could the end of days be this way? Don’t miss this read!!!

Fabulous Read!

Action packed, scripture supported, vividly portrayed stories of what could very well take place in the coming years of tribulation. I highly recommend all four books and the previous three books The days of Noah as well. Characters in the stories are carried through to the end so you really get to know them well. Mark is an excellent story teller!

Loved how the Author brings Elijah and Moses to "life" in these books. The Author draws you into the story, allowing you to feel the desperation, the blood rushing, the heart pounding in the intense situations that present all through the books.

A few oddities but an enjoyable read.

Just finished reading these as well as The Days of Noah. Both sets of books are very entertaining. As the author reminds the reader they are fiction so don't get your theology from them. Well worth reading.

Wow

I believe this end times series is a must read for all. In comparison to Left Behind, this takes our modern day happenings and puts them into a very believable story that will make you stop and ponder.

Interesting view of the final days.

I liked the development of the characters through this series. This will be a violent gruesome time and the judgements poured out on the earth are devastating.

Just what the doctor ordered!

The character development exceptional and served to draw me into the story line. The scriptural development was extraordinary and touches the heart in such a way as to cause one to consider the validity of their Christ centered life. A great read!!!

Brilliantly Dreadful

The Days of Elijah is a brilliantly written series which dreadfully casts fear for what the future could hold. Though this book is fiction, Goodwin ties it into the biblical prophecy of the last days. for those left to face these events.

This one might be my favorite series by this author. It still needs a better editor, just like most all of his books. (Commas between the subject and the verb is an egregious error, as just one example.) The importance of the prepping info within cannot be ignored.
