SPOT! SPOT! SPOT! Can you SPOT the SPOTS? SPOTS is a story that uses silly rhymes that will make kids laugh and modern illustrations to keep them captivated. But what makes this book groundbreaking is that it doesn't end with the last page, because "spots" are literally everywhere! SPOTS can be on a loud cow or a stinky pig. On the bottom of a question mark. In colorful art. You can even make your own SPOTS and make monsters or spiders or even a wiggly caterpillar. Let your kids open their eyes to the world of SPOTS all around them, and you'll be amazed to see how many SPOTS they can find! If you and your child liked I'm Not just a Scribble..., Splatter, & Snippets - it's time to start spotting SPOTS!

This Spot On Fun

Another great and fun book by the author. From the very first line in the story to the last line my little girl was engaged. She cracked up when we read the line rhyme about the pig. Great book and definitely recommended. You will not be sorry.

Creative!

Great story to spark kids artistic imagination. Liked that within the story a child can get an idea of what to draw using pointillism. Art is not excluded to one way but every child can be encouraged to be unique.

I really liked this book. I liked the illustrations because they came together well. This is a book that taught a little bit about punctuation and some forms of art. I like Diane's books because I feel that kids would like the illustrations.

Nice literacy & art history connections

Mentioning pointillism and punctuation marks is a nice way to branch off into other topics of using this book as an art teacher.

Liked the spots... It was a good visual book, very colorful and funny faces on the spots. Didn't care about the plot or rhyming.

Cute little picture book with a lesson for kids that feel like they aren't enough or they can't do something that others can.

Easy for all ages to connect

My young toddlers LOVE animals so the first few pages drew them in. As an educator, finding the spots in punctuation make it a cute way to talk about punctuation. The ideas to use spots to draw might finally help my son want to start to draw pictures since he is confident in drawing spots!
