I just dove into this one and couldn't put it down. Teen Wolf fanfic, Steter (Stiles/Peter) not Sterek. It's mostly non-canon, so all you really need to know going in is Hales=werewolves, Argents= hunters=bad.
Stiles has been dreaming of a fire for months. Terrible flames and lots of dead. He manages to piece together enough to warn the Hale family of what's to come, and that should be the end of it. Stiles knows he's supposed to hide what he is, at all cost, but he just can't stay away from Peter Hale, and Peter feels the same for Stiles.
The fic is slow burn at first, with communication through texts and phone calls, but you can feel the connection. The Hale fire was avoided, but it still caused huge issues for the pack, so the rest of the story is about Stiles and Peter getting to know each other, and Talia Hale being kind of a shitty alpha.
Trigger warnings for torture, and mentions of statutory rape, but nothing on page there.

September 22, 2018This was interesting with a slight twist here and there to make it a bit different. Overall, I enjoyed it, but there was something off in the character dynamics to me and I just can't put my finger on what. Maybe it was just a tad rushed at the end. Regardless, worth the time.

This was good. I liked the first half, although it started to get a bit over the top sappy and I generally prefer my Peter a tad more sarcastic asshole Peter. Psychic or empath Stiles are a fave, and this one played out in an interesting way. They did hint at something that was gonna happen but then it took forever to happen! And honestly I was excited for the drama so I skimmed a tad to get to it. An unusual was for things to play out.

2.5. Rounded up because it wasn’t bad, just suuuuuuper sweet Peter and his sass spark was missing. I did love all the scenting and wolf fun though.
