She’s in love with her best friend and he doesn’t even know it…
Bianca Hayes has been in the friend zone way too long. For years, she watched her best friend Dylan McCafferty go through girl after girl in Bayfield High.
Never her.
Well, enough is enough. It’s time she stops pining over someone who will never return her feelings. A girl can only take so much.
So when another boy starts showing interest in her, Bianca decides it’s a step in the right direction.
Madeleine Labitan lives and breathes for three things: books, coffee and Netflix. Deny her of one and you'll make an enemy for life.
A former content writer and virtual assistant, she decided to leave the freelance world behind to spend the rest of her days falling for swoon-worthy book boyfriends and hating on their heroines while simultaneously pretending to be a dedicated author.
She's been writing most of her life, and after nearly a decade of procrastinating, finally decided to try her luck on being an author.
Truth or Dare is her first foray into the publishing world and hopefully not the last...
And, oh, she’s in social media. Not that active, but she tries:
I was annoyed with Dyan and the fact he can get with any girl he wants, but then get mad and acts jealous when any other boy gives Matty the time of day! While some people might like that kind of alpha boy behavior, I am not a fan! If you like a girl tell her, don't just hold her on the side lines and then go around dating other people! While I do like the troupe of best friends to lovers, this book missed the mark sorry! I have been a fan of the other books and I will read the finally book in this series!
Swoon x100 Clueless Best Friend to Love, So good!!
I have been searching for this book for forever! I read it back in 2019 and it has lived rent free in my head but I forgot the title and I am soooool excited I found it again, yay!!! And I bought the ebook so I won’t wver forget it, yay!!!
I loveeeee when one best friend is absolutely clueless about being in love. It makes the story so fun and keeps you on the edge of your seat!!! This was this and soooo much more. Bianca and Dylan are extra swoon worthy! Thus book is amazing, fun and super sweet!
I adore this series! Such an easy and fun read and the author laid out great story lines... where’s Nick’s book? However I hated the in/on wording... if you read the books you know what I mean... I usually stop reading if something bothers me as much as this does but the stories are so cute that I choked it down and kept going... I’m glad I did... but again- Nick needs a book!
I finish this book so fast...🤣 like it wasn’t even a day like it was around 10ish maybe 11 pm when I started this and finish the book at 1:44 am. I stayed awake to finish it. That’s how good it was; I love it when a book keeps my attention. I was afraid that it wouldn’t since I wanted to read book 3... like so bad with Nick and Lexis 🤣... but knowing I may want to read this book before I read book three would be a bust since 9 out of 10 people will be mentioned in book 2 when I did start book three and even 4.
I got to learn who the world was Rohan and even El. Since I plan to read book 4 with them, you could tell that El has a thing for Rohan and what surprise me was that she gave him Bianca number. Besides that, I was glad when Dylan got the stick out of his behind. And realize that he has major feelings for his best friend, Bianca. Like you could tell that he cared about her when it came to Rohan. I had to smirk at this book when I was reading; because I was like ahhh now you know how your best friend feels when you shove girls all in her face.
Plus, Kristen, I figured she had an understanding of how both Dylan and Bianca felt about each other. She was fake, though, to pretend to befriend Bianca though she knew that Bianca didn’t care to be her friend anyway. In the end, she (Kristen) still didn’t get the guy that she so much wanted. Who she tried her best to make Bianca jealous. But in the end, Dylan broke up with her when he realized his feelings for Bianca was more than a friendship.
That’s really strange because usually I don’t read books that are so short. Sometimes it’s no no for me at the very start. But you know this little book has many things and many scenes that many longer ones are lack of. It’s incredible really, cause when I am looking for something with one of my favourite theme like friends to lovers then I expect something particular like jealousy, like stolen and sudden kisses, like girl’s longing for a boy and being upset seeing him with someone else. And in this longer books there is sometimes nothing like that. They gets boring after few scenes or are too sweet. In here we have got some angst, some jealousy, another girl, which I always like cause there is this jealousy on particular level. Of course I would like it to be longer, scenes especially with kisses more developed, and particularly more of everything of this book. So please next time make it longer and go on cause you give us quite good and hot piece of great friends to lovers romance set in high school.😊
This was the third book by this author, in this series, that I’ve read. I feel comfortable with this author at this point that I feel like I have an understanding of her style. I don’t think her books are groundbreaking, but they’re not bad. This was my least favorite of the three. I liked Bianca, but wish there would have been more there about Dylan. I felt that when the end came, I didn’t know him, and therefore just didn’t get into the ending as much. But, I liked the book, just wish there would have been more to it. The only other thing I think I want to comment on is that I wish that that one girl that Dylan dated hadn’t been turned into a bitch. I thought she was a sweet girl, I wish she would have stayed that way and that her and Bianca could have stayed friendly, even if they weren’t friends. I also wish there was more interaction between Bianca and Adam, but I’m not faulting the book for that. I probably will finish this series, just because why not, but it might be a few months or so before then.
So I read dark romance with lots of triggers and sometimes I need a little soft read to cleanse my pallet as they say...
So I stumbled across this series and read book one and found myself reading the whole series! For me each book is better to the first one.. These are short reads, ideal for an hour or so
This one we meet best friends and Bianca has loved Dylan for so long and his well... A ladies man until another boy shows interest in B...
I will say this are side characters that are mentioned in book 1 but are standalone . I do wished we saw Hollie and Ash get their own books but sadly as of yet they haven't
This adorable high school romance follows two best friends who are in love but haven't really figured it out. One knows while the other may be seeing the light. Through this short read we see a lot of heartbreak but also a super sweet ending. My only problem was they don't have to make the guy into such a manslut. Not necessary.
I am loving this series. The romances are just like high school relationships really are. I know some high school/ college students that these relationships are like how theirs started. Perfectly Clueless is about two best friends figuring out they are in love. It was an amazing read and I definitely recommend the series.
She is more apathetic than the description suggests. Fast read, cute enough. She is very into indie rock and rocker style and her friends are bad boys, wich is one thing I like in books in general. Its all on her perspective. Its a good, happy ending high school (in love with your best friend) romance. Its the first of this series that I read.
Personally, I loved the storyline itself, but the execution wasn’t exactly right. I preferred Rohan over Dylan always. He was so much kinder and seems more genuine, so that why I like Rohan more. Dylan took way too long to figure things out and I’m not a fan of the way he acted (scaring off guys while dating/hooking up with other girls).
This book was better. However, I still think it should have been longer and had more to it. I’m not very Impressed. I wish it would have been longer, more detailed, and had more happen in the story. I can only give it a three.
I really like this author and her books. There are a lot of teen romance authors who writes books that are some hits and misses. This author is pretty consistent with more hits than duds.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been very rare that I have been able to read a book in one day, but I was captivated by these characters instantaneously.
Okay so I now know why most romances I read are boring at some point… it’s bc they are unnecessarily long for a romance.. this series is perfect. If I was reading this when I was in high school I would have loved it even more. Even thou there is a lot of cliche lol and some cringe moments
So far this has been my favorite book in the series. I dont know why but I just liked this one better than the others. I also enjoyed the fact that this book was longer than the others.
it was an ok friends to lovers. the book was pretty short and i felt like u could just skim over it. it was nice though to just take a break from the depressing sjm novel ive been reading
