Books in the Solutions for Creating the Learning Spaces Students Deserve
This book provides concrete examples for how to apply the 4 Protocols for lessons and units. The 4 Protocols is a framework for using technology in a meaningful way. I love the examples they give because they are genuinely fun and engaging, and written by the authors who were both teachers. The goal of the book is to learn ways teachers can use technology to enhance learning, and they absolutely accomplish this goal. There is a whole chapter just for Elementary Schools, and a whole chapter just for Middle and High Schools. They give examples from different subjects and provide links to all the free digital tools you could want! They also provide links to free printables and resources I found very helpful.
I read about this "book" in an article somewhere, so I put the book on hold at the library. Imagine my disappointment when I pick up a 50 page pamphlet! It is really just an overview and introduction to their tools, but really great food for thought.
