From the moment I saw Maddie Weeks, I was smitten. We could've had a great love affair, except for three little things: 1. It was my job to protect her. 2. She was already married. 3. I could never marry. Then her jerk of a husband blew up. Literally. And our low key surveillance was kicked up a notch. We needed an inside man. Naturally, I took one for the team and assigned myself that role. My cover? Obviously, we'll have to be married. Fake married. Too bad I really love her.
How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?
Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.
Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.
The suspense/main plot didn't make any sense to me. Zero. Why did he and his team protect her? Why did he need to pretend to be married to her? Why? Who? When?
Well, despite all odds the romance part was ok. Apart from the fact, that she forgave her husband's cheating for years!!! Is it a right way to raise your daughters? To be with a cheater???!
Hero was smitten with her, he loved her, he loved her daughters. He was a good man, wow, such a unicorn in CR...
Well, I didn't dnf it and it was safe.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this book that I had to finish it in almost one sitting. Do I need to say that I love to read about men in uniform? I was so into this story that it is not even close if I say that I really enjoyed reading it...
When her car gets blown up with her cheating Husband in it, Maddie has to get it together for her two daughters. Enrique is a marine in charge of a Super elite secret government team with members from each military service. They have had Maddie and her family under surveillance for months. After additional threats on her life it is decided that they need someone on the inside to protect them and he volunteers. He has been watching her for so long it’s like he knows her and he is falling hard. Problem is, the members on this team must be single so that they are very focused on their Mission. So they pretend marry and he moves in and has a ready made family. Well written and interesting. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
**spoiler** I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Action was good, romance on point, but the whole can't get married issue made me skeptical. Not the part about him being in that particular unit and being unmarried, but when he realized he wanted to marry. Why muster him out? I don't think that would happen more than likely he would have been re-assigned to complete his tour. Still it was an enjoyable read.
Operation:Marry Me is a story between Enrique, a marine assigned to protect Maddie. Sad and terrible situation results in him having to pretend to be married to Maddie, even with Enrique being in love with her. The story is a bit different but the same in a lot of ways to other similar situations and the characters are perfect for the story. It is well written and well paced. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
This was about a black op involving watching a company that was working on top secret projects. One of them was Maddie who's husband, who also worked at the same place, ends up blown up in her car. Now the watchers, security, become more involved. Bronx takes one for the team. He talked Maddie into a fake marriage to protect her and her daughters. But when the bad guys get caught will he be able to walk away?
I’m just in love with this book. It’s exactly what I needed to read, a good cliche romance with some twists during the way – nothing too dramatic – but with a happy ending. I fell in love with Enrique, Maddie and the kids, they are captivating characters and their relationships was amazing. The killer mystery wasn’t so difficult for the reader to solve, but for me, that didn’t care when I was so focused on observing the interactions between the family and almost dying of cuteness.
I was definitely captivated by this heartwarming romance. I connected instantly with Maddie and Enrique’s characters each were witty, strong willed and determined, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the ongoing banter. This heartwarming story is filled with love, suspense and drama ... absolutely entertaining!!
I loved it. This book was so good, the plot, the characters, the scenario. I loved Enrique, he was such a sweet guy, so dedicated to Maddie and the girls. She was so strong, such a family woman that needed love in her life. Their were so good together, they belong with each other and formed the family that was meant to be
I went into this book with the thought I would like this book... and I came out LOVING THIS BOOK! Seriously, this book is great! Had romance, single mother, military men, a killer... what’s not to like about it?!?!
I must admit that I first thought this was going to be the same routine story. I was pleasantly surprised. The story was well written and I couldn't put the book down. All of my emotions were in play when I read it. Thank you for a lovely story.
I loved the characters in the book. This book has drama, suspense, romance. The main characters kept you on your toes. This book has its ups and downs. I loved the ending, too. HEA.
This is a great read -- not too long, not too short, it is just right! No spoilers here, just a strong suggestion that this is an unexpected but required read!! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
This is a good story about the bodyguard and the people he is protecting. Madrid is a brilliant scientist that is being threatened. Bronx is the head of the team that is protecting her. Great characters a d a believable story.
It was an ok read but didn’t really entertain. There was action, an ok plot even though you could tell Gerard was hiding something. The love story was alright just felt really PG! And the teenager tantrums felt over the top
I really enjoyed this book. The circumstances leading to the fake marriage stretch the imagination but it was a fun read. The chemistry between the main characters was good. I liked Enrique's relationship with the children.
Enrique and Maddie were absolutely amazing! I loved that he saved her and they fell in love in the process. He quit the marines for her, that was a big deal.
