Come on down to Keyhole Lake, where the tea is sweet and the witches are sassy!
This box set contains Books 1-3 in the Witches of Keyhole Lake Southern Mystery Series.
Book 1 - Sweet Murder
What's a witch to do when the meanest man in the county drops dead in his coleslaw during her shift at the local barbecue joint? Noelle does what any good Southern girl would do: she flicks a wrist to clean up the mess, then thanks the stars for doing the world a favor. She should have known nothing's that easy.
The Magical Oversight Committee is on her back because she can't keep her unruly little sister in line and the hunky new city-slicker sheriff would like to take her to dinner, except he suspects her of murder. To top it off, her cursed miniature donkey is being particularly calamitous and the old hens at the local beauty parlor are laying bets on her love life.
A skydiving best friend and a bossy, living-impaired aunt become the least of her worries when the killer decides to bump up the plan by bumping her off. Can she figure it out in time to save all that she holds dear, or will Noelle be next on the list of folks who've turned up dead?
Book 2 - Murder to the Max
Granted, being murdered first thing in the morning would make anybody cranky, but when local contractor Max Wheeler meets his unnatural end, he takes it more personally than most.
As any perturbed ghost looking for justice would, he goes straight to the local sheriff to report the crime. That's when Hunter learns there's even more weirdness beneath the surface of his small southern town than he thought. Just when he's come to terms with the fact that he's dating a real witch, he gets a trial-by-fire introduction to his living-impaired citizen population, too.
Cranky ghosts, sticky-fingered vagabonds, and disappearing food keep the gossip wheel churning, but Noelle's about to lose her mind.
Book 3 - Murder so Magical
Keyhole Lake has its fair share of oddballs and ne'er-do-wells, but sometimes even good folks do bad things, right? At first, the crimes seem to stem from desperation or teenage rebellion, but when the president of the ladies' auxiliary is busted stealing church funds, Noelle starts to piece together a pattern that points to a much more nefarious - and magical - explanation.
The infractions go from bad to worse, and to add insult to injury, the sheriff - her beau - doesn't believe her.
Though she has a town full of ghosts and a couple powerful witches on her side, the rest of the town - including her talking donkey - is convinced she's off her rocker. After all, "the devil made me do it" is an expression, not an alibi. The stakes skyrocket when one of the people closest to her is found standing over a dead body holding the murder weapon. The bad guys are about to find out what happens when you mess with southern witch's family, friends, and talking pets, assuming she can stay alive and out of jail long enough to find them.
I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I've always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.
When I was a little girl, I didn't want to grow up to be a writer—I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, humor, and romance.
I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I'm not writing or reading, I'm racing motorcycles with my taller, more handsome half, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.
I'm eternally grateful for all the people who help make my life what is today - friends, readers, family. No woman is an island.

Small town southern living is beyond me, but I did like them. There were some issues, but their hearts were in the right place. Tight group for friends and family, no place for murder but sometimes bad things happen and someone needs to help the new police guy from up North figure it out. Noelle, a witch living in Georgia with her sister, Aunt Elizabeth and cousin, and the ghost of her deceased Aunt Addy finds herself helping to solve murders when friends get accused of committing them. In a town filled with magic and ghosts, Hunter, the northerner, an outsider, needs all the help he can get when the first murder is a crooked sheriff, his boss. Guiding him through the secret side of town isn't easy for Noelle, but someone has to do it.
There’s a substantial paranormal community in a small town in Georgia, where these three books take place. There are witches, ghost sets, and an enchanted donkey, along with cursed objects, mean girls, and evil sheriffs. The good and bad guys are clearly delineated, and there are murders that need to be solved. I grew up in a small town (in the North), so lots of the interactions rang true to me, yet I felt there were too few shades of gray in the folk of Keyhole Lake, with way too much leeway given to Noelle, our heroine. All in all, however, a pleasant, folksy trio of novels.
OMG I loved these books first time I read anything by Ms Maher and I'm a fan I love the characters in the story and love Keyhole lake all I can say is that I plan on get books 4-6 right away I'm giving this series 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 the story captured me from the 1st page ❤
Hooked from the first page and plowed through the 3 book series and bonus short. Noelle and all the residents of Keyhole are a hoot. There are more touching moments as well but always a good time with laughs, usually while trying to catch a killer. Look forward to reading more!
It's a lovely story and the family love and bond is what everyone aspires to have. The small quaint town and the characters are great! My only problem with the book is that it repeated too many points from the first 2 books.
What a great read. I was hooked , I am so glad I got the first 3 books as a box set so I didn't have to wait between books I'm off to get number 4 I recommend these books to everyone a well deserved 5 stars
This series is well-written, well-paced, magical, had likeable characters and a bit of romance and was totally humorous. I can't recommend it highly enough!
3 books showed that Tegan knows what's life is like in a small town and in the South. Throw in witches, curses and romance and these books have it all.
