After being thrown off her horse during a terrible storm, our young heroine Lucy is lost in a dark forest. Seeking shelter she finds herself in a mysterious mansion. Settling in for the night, Lucy comes face to face with a ghostly, but very erotic female apparition.
Experiencing previously unknown sensations, will Lucy flee the lustful mansion or will she let herself be Seduced by a Ghost?
3.5 stars. Fun novella that puts a positive, queer spin on a trope that's often quite creepy and male-gazey. There were a lot of grammatical and syntax errors, but it's a first person narrative, with a very engaging tone. After I decided to read the protagonist as someone whose first language isn't English, it stopped being such a distraction.
A beautiful story about being different in a time when being different wasn't accepted. After Lucy runs away from her future she is taken by a beautiful ghost who sets her soul and body on fire, showing her who she really is and once Lucy helps her spirited lover they both move on and are stronger in the end for it. The ending is both sad and beautiful.

My favorite of K.C.'s stories for sure. The setting draws you in, and it's a beautiful story of the characters finding who they are and being able to fully be themselves. I cannot recommend this enough!
Short but oh so good! First time reader of this author.
Lucy did not want to marry a man! In 1932 that was unheard of in society. Riding off from her family on her horse, rain, lightning and falling. A house/mansion that was not there before a long time ago. A beautiful portrait of a young woman. But was Lucy asleep, who knows, but what a vibrant dream of such unknown joy and pleasure? Enjoy!
This is a most beautifully told and moving story. I felt drawn into this story with amazing imagery and a good narrative. The first ghostly appearance is especially well described. The intimate scenes are hot, sexy and at the same time tender, brilliant. A most enjoyable and satisfying read. KC Bloom on fine form.
This story is very well told, and definitely got my motor running. The author does an excellent job in creating the landscape and characters in the book. It didn't feel rushed, like some erotica, instead letting the tale take its natural course.
A very sweet and erotic story of a lost girl who in need of shelter comes across a empty mansion, inhabited by the ghost of a girl who makes love to the human girl who becomes obsessed with the ghost and expresses their passion for one another.
