Accidental Impact was a sweet surprise! I’m use to the angst and and deep darkness of other romance stories that Ms.Maree has written. It was a very easy and pleasurable read.
Ella is an up and coming young professional on the track to partner in her dad’s company. Dr Layton James is a trained, registered doctor that has left that life to escape to mountains above Christchurch, New Zealand to raise trees and manage lumberjacks.
These two have ran from bad relationships and find each other when Ella Crashes her car during a weird snowstorm a few days before Christmas, and Layton finds her and rescues her. They discover a quick soulmates attraction, Ella discovers that a man can truly be romantic and tender for real, and Layton discovers that there is a woman for him, and only him. I would love to read more like this quick novella from this author. Very nice indeed Aleisha!

Accidental Impact by Aleisha Maree is a second chance romance- with insta-love, betrayal, heartache, shattered dreams, healing, and finding love when you least expect it.
OMG!!! I think this is one of my favourite novella’s, ever!! I just loved reading Ella and Layton’s story- it had just the right amount of sweetness, sizzle, and emotion. My book-boyfriend harem just gained a new member- Layton….swoon!!!! Win-Win!!!
Ella works in her father’s law firm- putting in long, hard hours to prove herself. She has very little time for anything else. But with Christmas fast approaching Ella has taken time off to relax for the first time in years, and has plans to whisk her boyfriend away for a romantic getaway to a cabin in the mountains. Only all her plans, and her heart are shattered, when she walks in on him and his secretary getting their grind on, in Ella and his home, and in their own bed of all places!!! Devastated, she decides to head up to the cabin on her own, to get away and process it all. She never factored in having to drive up a mountain range in a snow storm. Swerving to miss hitting a little bunny, she loses control of her car and crashes over the embankment and into a stand of trees. Unconscious, things look pretty dire. What happens you ask…. Well you really should read this little gem and find out all the sexy details for yourself!! It’s well worth the read!!

Accidental Impact is a second chance romance with insta-love, betrayal, heartache, shattered dreams, healing, and finding love when you least expect it. This is Layton and Elle's story. Such a well written story and a pleasant read. I love how this is set in my country New Zealand.
Ella works in her father’s law firm, putting in long, hard hours to prove herself. She has very little time for anything else. But with Christmas fast approaching Ella has taken time off to relax for the first time in years, and has plans to whisk her boyfriend away for a romantic getaway to a cabin in the mountains. Only all her plans, and her heart are shattered, when she walks in on him and his secretary getting their grind on, in Ella and his home, and in their own bed of all places.

If you want short and extremely sweet, then Accidental Impact is the book for you!
Aleisha Maree knows how to pull out the goods and this was beyond amazing.
Ella is a hard working Lawyer with long hours and an extremely big work load. She's spent so long focusing on her career she's ready for a break, and what better time to have one then Christmas.
Sometimes though, plans don't always pan out as they're supposed to and Ella finds herself in quite a predicament. But is it a bad one?
Seriously, even though this was a shorter read than I'm used to it was damn perfection! Fast paced with every emotion I hoped there to be and more.
I have no worry recommending this novella to all romance lovers out there!

This was a quick and fun read and while some parts are borderline problematic Maree's humor easily diffuses the situation and pokes fun at the regular romantic genre.
