BitterSweet!

Rate this book
Romit is a diffident but zealous middle-class boy from a small town in Lucknow who aspires to be an automobile engineer. He is off to a college located a thousand miles away in the suburbs of Pune.
Jairaj hails from a village located in relative proximity to the suburbs. Rustic and breezy, he has a knack for getting in trouble and is biding time at the college, hoping he’d exercise his right to start his own venture as he ages.
Somewhere along the four years of their college, circumstances changed for both of them when they chanced upon a gruesome and unanticipated encounter, the after effects of which turn out to be grave for these companions.
‘Bittersweet!’ as the name suggests is a tale of gleeful and unpleasant moments in the life of these two characters. It is also a tale of brotherhood, bond, and blood. The story has its own definition of sacrifice and what it is like to be living a life on the run overwhelmed with dread. Bittersweet! is also an escape from the mundane urban lives as it takes you on a voyage to rural areas of Maharashtra.
