I think this book was good, but it was repetitive. I liked the concept of finally there being a school, that is not Soto Alto in Sevilla la Chica, I just didn't like how it was implemented. How all the girls in the team left, and how both coaches left, leaving the supply management guy, coaching the team. I also felt there was too much going on, with Pakete's dad being wrongfully arrested, as they thought he was working with the contraband. I feel like the author could have made this book better, not making it so confusing with the Xenai, (the African family.) Also with the team splitting up, it felt like Pakete's life was breaking up, and he never communicated that with the readers. What I did enjoy, was the end, where we learn that Pakete's dad, just was doing everything to protect the African family from going back to their country where they might be sent to war, breaking their family apart aswell. I also found it wild that this team which had never participated in the league was going to strip of this chance for Soto Alto to continue playing, which I saw as unfair and weird.
