"The love stories are big in these small town romances."
This non-shifter mpreg bundle includes all six books of the Oceanport Omegas series, as well as several bonus scenes to round out your experience of the story. Full of love, babies, puppies and romance, these stories are guaranteed to leave you with a warm feeling this fall.
The Omega's Secret Baby: Single dad Eli doesn't know what to do when his son's other father comes back into town, especially since Matt never knew their summer romance ended in pregnancy.
A Baby for the Firefighter: People think there's something wrong with Griff because he's never been with an alpha, but all that might change when firefighter Dean, his best friend and secret childhood crush, returns home and melts his heart.
The Omega's Surprise Baby: Widowed alpha and single dad Shane thinks he's had his chance at love--until fallen-from-grace popstar Kade Ashton makes his heart sing again.
The Omega's Fake Mate: Nick needs no alpha in his life--except for his best friend Zander. He needs Zander to fake a relationship with him to infiltrate the cult his twin brother married into and rescue him. Easy, right?
The Wedding Planner's Manny: Rhys never thought the alpha he crushed on as a child still remembered him, but when he starts working as his manny, he's quickly proven wrong--and now he's falling for his boss.
A Baby for Christmas: Abandoned by his mother at a young age, all omega Robin ever wanted was to have a family of his own--too bad his best friend and first love Ben is scared of having children. But when a heat-fueled night of passion leaves Robin pregnant he might just get his Christmas wish anyway.
Ann-Katrin Byrde is a writing duo comprised of Ana J. Phoenix and Kate Lowell. As a team they strive to bring you the best mpreg stories they can. They both love to write, read and dream. In their spare time, you can often catch them hunting wild plot bunnies in the fields of their imagination.
Book One, Four and Five in this series were full of 4 star fluffy charm! The writing flows nicely, and both the setting and characters have an appealing warmth about them. On the downside, the romantic plot in each of the stories in the bundle were far too similar to the others, crossing the border into both predictable and repetitious.
I loved that she added the short stories (and new one!) to this bundle! What a great way to read all of Oceanport for people who haven't read this series yet. It's one of my favorite contemporary mpreg series, I just loved the characters and how they're all connected and friends/family. Can't wait for the next generation to really get going!
I have to admit, that it took me a little longer to get through this box set because I didn't want it to end. I love the snippets of Jake and Connor in the story and I really want to see what happens next with them. All of the characters were amazing in their stories and the struggles they all had to face to be together in the end. This is by far one of my favorite omega stories.
This series of fun and sweet romances is well worth the read. Several short stories sprinkled throughout tease us with hints about Jake and Connor-she’d better write that one soon!
a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. ~Winnie the Pooh~
John Solo!!! Can we talk about the magic behind the mic. He was phenomenal!! I was so impressed listening to this series, there were very few voices that overlapped between Alphas & Omegas. He really tried to keep all of the voices new and he was so creative about it. He kept me completely wrapped in this series, needing more. I didn't want it to end!
There are so many books in this series that I'd like to touch briefly on each couple. Eli & Matt: I immediately feel in love with Matt, he was so down to earth compared to his crazy family. There was a lot of air neck wringing when his mother blessed us with her presence (cringing internally). I loved Eli as well, he was so strong, sweet caring and just an all around amazing Omega. I loved that he never caved and told anyone about his son's Dad until he was ready. I could feel all of the emotions and how hard it must have been for him. Their story was so sweet and touching. Plus, I really loved how they were involved throughout the rest of the series, it's like the author knew that we would want more. Dean & Griff: Dean won me over with the copious amounts of cupcakes he baked for Griff and I was laughing out loud when we found out that Griff couldn't eat sweets throughout his pregnancies, sweet torture for sure LOL. It made me giggle every time. I loved how Dean was really caring and understanding when it came to Griff's fears which were rightfully expected considering the way he had been treated, but also watching all the stuff his brother had to go through. This book was low angst and so sweet, I really enjoyed it. Kade & Shane: Phew, this one was a rough book. Emotional roller coaster ride doesn't even do it justice. Between Shane and the loss of his mate to his sweet babies (well one of them is 10 but still). Then Kade having to deal with that dumb V-Cult. I can't even remember the name. I just wanted to strangle his ex and shout from the rooftops = SIGN THE DIVORCE PAPERS lol. Like I said, emotional is an understatement. Nick & Zander: this was a good story but I found myself interested and drawn to Rhys story over the main characters. Not that Nick and Zander didn't have a good story because they did but it was overshadowed by Rhys and the Cult group. The bookstore and Connor/Zanders relationship was really cute and added to the story. I love that Zander tried to get more Omega books for Connor's research. Rhys & Ethan: Another emotional roller coaster. The way the last book ends keeps you on your toes for this one. I understood why Rhys fell for his demon of a husband but it was still heartbreaking to see his lack of confidence and everything he was going through. I'm happy that Ethan ended up being a strength through Rhys's storm, but Rhys also ended up being a rock for Ethan when the ex sowed up. Between both nightmare ex's this book was the best one of the series. I wish more would have happened to that cult especially when we found out in the last book that the mayor's omega supposedly committed suicide which is a bunch of lies, I agreed with Rhys when he thought he was probably murdered. That community needed to be burnt to the ground and all the Alphas in a remission camp until the pulled their heads out of their behinds, but maybe that's just me. Robin & Ben: This was a great end story to this series. It had very little angst but a lot of sweetness. I also, loved the bonus story between Connor and Jake. Super Cute! Great Series and totally worth the Credit!!!
I loved the series and I loved it even though I was not always happy with how the omegas were portrayed. I couldn't understand why all the one has had the habit of either "I'm bucking tradition yet being annoyingly insecure about THEIR alpha loves them" Or annoyingly being silly about well if you're for omega rights and you're getting pregnant. And then, to sympathize with the omega, the wife must be one-dimensional and easily hated. Was this book set in the 50's? Why none of the one has have sass enough to tell those jerks off except Conner? And he's a 14yr old. Was it the generational difference? Why did Robin have to be quieted by that annoying teacher and say if the school board even thought of firing him he would find an omega rights lawyer to fight his case? Why mention omega rights and talk about change being slow without making up situations where there are alphas and one has out there fighting for omega rights and talk about tje characters knowing that even though things are slow to change there is hope because people are fighting? It feels as if you mention omega rights but characters just accept that this is the way their world worked and the only thing they can do is find their "perfect" alpha and be passive-aggressive. I guess because of this, even though I wanted to love the one has in the book - I found them annoying. That is until they found their perfect alpha and accepted themselves.
I'd already listened to and reviewed Books 2-5 in the Oceanport Omegas series, so I opted for the bundle to hear where it all began and ended with Books 1 and 6.
*Book 1 - The Omega's Secret Baby: 4 Stars. Single omega dad Elias has kept the identity of his 7-year-old son's father under wraps, until alpha Matthew reappears in Oceanport. The secret former high school hookups never stopped loving each other and now have a second chance at romance...and another baby. Elias is a great character, one of my favorites in the series.
*Book 2 - A Baby for the Firefighter: 3 Stars.
*Book 3 - The Omega's Surprise Baby: 4 Stars.
*Book 4 - The Omega's Fake Mate: 4 Stars.
*Book 5 - The Wedding Planner's Manny: 3.5 Stars.
*Book 6: A Baby for Christmas: 4 Stars. This is a sweet second chance, best friends-to-lovers Christmas romance. Omega Robin only wants to feel loved. Fresh off a bad breakup on Christmas Eve, he seeks comfort with best friend alpha Ben. They tried a relationship as teenagers and love each other but have incompatible life goals (and their own struggles to work through)...until just one kiss and an accidental medically induced heat changes everything.
Narrator John Solo delivers solid performances across this series (averaging 4 Stars), which made for pretty easy listening. I'm not a real fan of his female character voices, but fortunately, they're relatively few and far between in the series anyway.
The Oceanport Omegas series is set within a contemporary nonshifter omegaverse and heavily features mpreg along with other conventional Alpha/Beta/Omega tropes. This is one of my favorite omegaverse series and a definite comfort read. All six books found within this collection feature happy ever afters as well as gratuitous fluff and humor. The romance is sizzling and each couple feels unique and special.
This bundle contains all six books of the series as well as some wonderful short stories that really flesh out the universe. This series is also the foundation for the spinoff/sequel series, Second Chances. I highly suggest reading these books before reading Second Chances.
Although there is a lot of fluff, romance, drama, and steaminess, the authors also tackle a lot of social issues that readers may find relatable. I found this to add extra depth to the books and really enhanced the worldbuilding. All in all, I love this series immensely and hope that the authors continue to expand this universe.
I'd read the first and at least part of the second book in the box set previously. I picked up where I'd left off and finished the bundle over a few days.
With the stars, some of the stories I'd rate as 3 star, and some 4 star. I was amused to see that in one of the short stories, a 12-year-old omega boy had gotten his hands on Omega's Flight. I thought, "You're too young to read that, Jake." But the Mercy Hills series does have very good world-building and omegas who kick butt. I would have liked for the Oceanport Omega series to have world-building of that kind of quality.
I'd definitely recommend this to those readers who like reading the alpha/omega dynamic and the "mpreg" trope. They'll get what they want. :)
Read via Kindle Unlimited. I thought I'd try an author whose work I've never read before. After reading the first story of the Complete Series Bundle, I felt that it was very repetitive at times. The story felt forced and awkward. It didn't flow as the author was too focused on how low classes Omegas are. This set up the second story of the series. Unfortunately this novel was so slow it took several attempts to just read one page, as my mind kept wandering. There's nothing exciting and I felt the angst was questionable at best. The whole bundle of stories was absolutely dire. If you're into reading books that takes several months (or in this case years) to read, then this bundle of stories would be great for you.
As a huge fan of Ann-Katrin Byrde, discovering a bundle with all the oceanport omegas books in one place it was an amazing present just for me (ok,ok... for everyone). Romantic, sweet and full of hot scenes every book featured the love story of an alpha-omega’s couple and how they found their HEA. You could find interesting plots, some angsts situations, and babies all within the borders of the little town of Oceanport. So prepare yourself, you’ll need a box of tissues and a lot of free time because after starting you won’t want to stop until the very last page. Epic!!
The series with all the characters in Oceanport being Alphas and their relalationships with Omegas is a fun read. The misconceptions on what an Omega is allowed to do is slowly being corrected and letting them evolve. Each story has happy endings but with good involved characters.
I fell into love with this series. The stories were charming and the characters were well written and developed. If you like this genre then give this book a whirl. I think you will be pleased. But I serisouly can't wait to read Jake and Connor's story. Please don't leave me hanging!
The stories were cute and fluffy. Basically a series of cheesy romances in the town of Oceanport. I really liked how all the characters kind of crossed paths and made appearances in each other's stories. I NEED to read more about Jake and Conner!!!! Please please come out with another short story, just for them!
Gosh... I freaking LOVED this series bundle!! I gotta get the next series now to hear Nathan's story and also finish with Jake&Connor because I OBVIOUSLY gotta know now how it ends, right!?? I'm SO addicted to EVERYONE in Oceanport... You've got me HOOKED!!!! #AudibleAddict❤ #GaGa4Goodreads🖤 -Nikki♉
I haven’t ever read a better ABO series, and it is even better that there is no shifters involved at all. The characters are believable and likable, and the way the stories interconnect is amazing!
I am so loving Ann-Katrin Byrde. I loved all of the stories inside this bundle. I do love all the little short stories of Conner and jake. Can't wait to read their final story.
