This second collection of poetry published by Ray is larger, bolder, and more intimate than ever before. Quadrantaria. explores both sides of love; the breaking and reshaping of hearts.
This sounded exactly like "Nice Guy" poetry, which isn't even a stretch as one of the poems is literally called "Nice Guys." The entire collection is about this one girl that the author can't be with, and he spends the entire book not respecting her choice while at the same time vividly fantasizing about her. There is also some terribly graphic, gross sexual imagery that I wish I could un-read.
I just love all of Jack Ray's books. I can always feel his raw emotions in between the amazing words. I guess it's just perfect and gives meaning to a lot of feelings I can't explain.
Now I guess I'll be here waiting for another book to crush my emotions haha
