Just as funny as the first 2 books, I have to say the 4 authors writing this series all write funny well.
I really liked the banter between Kenna and Lucas out of the first 3 books in this series their has been the best potential couple banter and storyline for me.
The mystery in this one was good to and the Flying Monkeys were a hoot lol.

Of the three books in the series out this far, this one is my favorite. The witch, Kenna, is head of tourism for the island. She is super organized down to multiple datebooks! I had to laugh because we all know someone like that, or are that person. True to form she schedules everything and gets it all done! Type A+ personality. But I found the fact that she had regrets about things she and the other witches did in the past endearing. She had a conscience and even tried to own up to past misdeeds.
Kenna is a fire witch, yet is careful not to use that talent in case she would harm someone/something. When push comes to shove, she has other tricks she uses.
Who would think a Battle of the Bands would be so difficult to organize? Throw in a murder on the first day of rehearsals and you begin to understand how much could go wrong. Kenna takes on the murder as well as visitors from OZ and still manages to finally find a boyfriend who is just about perfect.
Just about perfect also describes her familiar, Gerald. He is a fairy armadillo who is so chubby that he can't really fly. But he has to be the best familiar ever-giving clothing advice, making dinner, running a bath. helping research spells...the list goes on. Fortunately Kenna knows and lets him know how much she appreciates him! I do believe these two are my favorite witch/familiar combination thus far.
Because each book is written by a different author, it is hard to compare techniques used in their writing. Best advice I can give is read them all! It is a fun series, and somebody had a brilliant idea!

sweet and funny
For a cozy mystery which features a murder, it would seem logical that a description of sweet and funny can’t capture the tone of the book, but the basic story is just that with a whooping dose of charm.
Kenna, secret witch and official organizer supreme of the battle of the bands and the local island where she lives, is knocked out of her adorable ballet flats by an unexpected murder of one of the participating bands drummers.
Given that the island has sunk a great deal of resources into the competition and the media announcing it, the island mayor demands that Kenna hush up the murder, find the murdering fiend and oh yes, keep things running in tip top shape and on time. And in the midst of the resulting crisis, in strolls hot and hotter mcHottie from Kenna’s high school past Lucas.
But with Kenna’s other secret witches pushing her into ill advised karaoke (where Lucas hilariously shows up for her performances) or for resolve of the island issues (talking grumpy trees, or flying monkeys, anyone?) or being hounded by demanding band managers or the island mayor, it’s all in a day of the life of an island witch that must solve the murder asap!
A likable heroine (reminds me a bit of Monica in Friends) with her sweet neurotic attachment to order, charming love interest in Lucas and secret magic too.
An enjoyable story and an absolutely worthwhile read

Scheduled murder
A solid read. She likes to keep schedules and her life in order. However all that goes up in flames for our fire witch when the competition of the bands that she is organising seems to have hit a roadblock with the death of a drummer from the favourite local band. Worse a trio of flying monkeys have come through the rift left behind when she and three of her school friends let their school burn down years ago. Now she has to get them back, find a killer and deal with the attraction she feels for a local boy. Can she do all of this? The plot was a good one but slightly lost the oomph as it progressed. The characters too seemed lacklustre.

Finally!
Kenna comes across as anal and self-righteous, but give her a chance; finding what's beneath that rigid shell makes her the first character with dimension in this series. Her chemistry with Lucas also feels more authentic. Her familiar/butler/moral compass, Gerald, is a pink fairy armadillo who has to deal with an albino raven that is looking to replace him; how original! While the murder mystery is not particularly engaging; however, this is the first story that offers the barest insight into what any of the witches feels about their circumstances or those who abandoned the foursome, and this has attention- grabbing potential!

Fun and extraordinarily entertaining
And extraordinarily fun and entertaining story. The third book in this for book series by four different authors. Each cozy mystery is set on an island off of New Jersey that for which is guard and protect. You missed read the stories to find out all the details. Each author writes their own cozy mystery series and I hope they each take their character and stories and spend them all off into four separate extra series that they will continue. Check them all out they are very entertaining fun spunky and you won’t be dissatisfied.

Fun
So another great read and everyone is doing a great job with continuity considering there are 4 authors.
Loved the cameo by LOOK MOM NO WINGS from Annabel Chases's SPELLBOUND series. Even if just a passing hello.
Thought Gerald might be my favorite familiar so far but half way through thought he got a bit to suck up, though who wouldn't love to have him around doing stuff for you. Now I waffle between him and Clover. I liked Stuart a lot too.
Now for Evian and her adventures. Haven't read anything from the next Author so hopefully I find a new Author to follow.

Five stars
Book three in the Elemental Witches series is very funny. Kenna, the fire witch is plenty snarky and her familiar, the pink fairy armadillo, Gerald, acts as her butler, cook and bottle washer. Throw in a 6'4" , hunky " Luke Skywalker " and three large flying monkeys and you are on quite the adventure! Annabel Chase is hilarious and spins a good tale. Well written and well edited.

Controlled Burn
Fire witch Kenna Byrne is the tourism director for the island of Eternal Springs. Kenna has put together the first battle of the bands, praying that all will go well, the event will become an annual feature for the island. Throw in a murder, some flying monkeys, a yummy, shirtless pilot and Kenna is having stress overload. Great storyline , Annabel Chase is a magical author, always a pleasure to read!

A wonderful story
Kenna is a wonderful character.
She finds herself going through a change as she deals with an attack on Clover Zola's familiar, flying monkeys, an albino bird and Mr Skywalker.
All that happens whilst trying to hold a battle of the band's event on the island.
The characters are well written, the story flowed extremely well and was hard to put down. The development of the main character was a joy to read.

Great read
I didn't know what to inspect because this series has a couple of different authors each putting their own flair with each character, but this book was great. I like when different authors do this not only do you get know different authors but you get a great story. I will definitely be reading more of this authors books.

Another fun read in this series. This one is by Annabel Chase and it's a murder mystery involving a fire witch with a need for organization. Kenna is so organized she has two planners - one for her work life and one for her private life. Everything is scheduled. Then there's Lucas who is very hot and a pilot and quite the opposite of Kenna. It coould never work between them, or could it?

I have been looking forward to Kenna's story, and it did not let me down! I really enjoyed her with Lucas. The mystery was interesting as always. I really loved her familiar, Gerald! He is probably my favorite of the animals so far. These authors have done a great job of keeping up the same tone and cohesiveness with each story. Looking forward to book 4, and I hope there are more from there!

Eternal Springs is a fun series about four witches left on an island to defend the town from beasts who cross through a portal they caused to open. Not a lot of crossover between books, so they are rather stand-alone stories.
I was hoping for a finale where the witches would learn to work together, but they stick to the Cozy Mystery formula and stay light-hearted.

One word - Boring
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and was looking forward to the third. This was a real letdown. Boring characters, boring plot. If it was the first book in the series, I would have given up half way through and not bothered to read the rest.

Book 3 I need a Herald in my life great book
I really love the familiars in this series I NJ imagine Gerald talking with British accent like a proper butler but he more than that to his witch, then Tut the cat king in this one along with albino raven or crow . this mystery was good the demons that have to get banish not ones I want to deal with.

Wonderful
The book was so good and even had a reference to Spellbound. This book gave move insight to the individual witches. I can’t wait to learn what really happened during the Incident.

Very interesting series that is written by 4 different authors. You can see the different styles but the story flows because it is 4 different characters point of view. Start with book 1.

Nothing like the first two books
Not quite the entertaining read I was hoping for- The familiar was the most endearing character. The interactions with Lucas were cheesy at best.
It felt that the story dragged and was all over the place at the same time.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it that much I read it all in one go. I'm loving the fact we getting to read about the four different witches but it would be nice to know about what happened to their school.

Learning to fly.
Annabel Chase does a number on witch number 3 in the Eternal Springs series. It's not every fire elemental that has to deal with flying monkeys but Kenna handles that and more in this episode.

Wonderful!
Loved, loved, loved this book! The right amount of mystery and romance! This series is just getting better and better! Can read them alone or out of order but reading them in order makes sure you don't miss anything though!

Now we meet the fire witch. Lo e the raven and the armidillo with pink wings. Lots of laughs as she tried to find a murderer and get flying monkeys back where the belong.

All of the books in the series were fun
Enjoyed all of the books in this series and would like to see all of the witches come together with the young men that they have found and enjoy being with. Need another book or two to complete the storylines for all four of them .

Fun, easy read. No surprises, but that's why I wanted to read it. The formula is nice in these books--a witch solving a crime, sending a creature back to its domain, dealing with her familiar, and maybe meeting a love interest. Great distraction.

No shirts...yay!
Loved the whole Skywalker and Darth Vader part of the story. Another great murder mystery, but nothing burned down that was a little disappointing was looking for the whole Firestarter moment.

Kenna is the fire witch of the Elemental Springs bunch. She gets her chance to set the town on fire when she singlehandedly unmasks a killer. She also scores a hottie to call her own. A cute story only marred by the editing issues.
