I would consider this a “chick” book; it was easy to read and I wasn’t ready for it to end when it did. Food most definitely was the theme throughout the story so I felt all warm & fuzzy much of the time. I did not care for the main character, Deidre McIntosh, for about the first half of the book but her personality brought a bit of drama to the story and I warmed to her. Very predictable story line and probably a forgettable story, but I enjoyed it enough to want to read more of Mia King’s books.
