Where We Belong: Love Returns

Rate this book
Mati Wilson believed that she had it all. A job that made her smile, and a girlfriend who made her world spin. Leaving the US for a job opportunity in London shattered that illusion, and her relationship, rendering her single and loveless. When life once again changes, will she survive or will she forever wait for the day when things fall apart? Olivia Miller was once her entire world. Can she resume that role in Mati’s life, and future, or are some things just too painful to forget? One thing is for sure, nothing is ever quite how it seems.

Sappy. Sabotaging the relationship from inside their own heads. Too long for what little was said and done. Minor plot. Not the best book Melissa Tereze has written.

A Second Chance Story Told From Both Sides!

I realize this book was from 2018 but I actually never read it and thought I read everything from Melissa. When the book started, I liked how the story went back and forth between the two main characters. But after reading through the half way mark, I had a headache whether from rolling my eyes or the actual words coming out of each of their mouths. I get that they had to work their way back to each other and there was a mutual respect in that regards. So it was getting a little hard to swallow when each had a negative thought to slow the process of getting back to each other. Having said that, Melissa has a way of expressing the depths of love running deep as she has done here and that made this book worth reading. I am a fan of hers and am always impressed with her writing.

Listen kids I love Melissa Tereze but this book made me angry… it took forever for these two to really say what they wanted then the book just ends… like why… the only redeeming parts were the extremely hot sex!!

It's OK

The story is ok. It's not something I would read again. For me, the plot was really weak. I'm not saying that because it's a story about two women's relationships. I've read other stories that were about two women that had more of a plot.

The first book I've read from this author. Enjoyable. Sweet. I liked the style of writing and found the switching point of view something different.

Loveable characters. Thank you to the author.

Such a feel-good story after the initial heartbreak for one of the characters.

Great book

I did really enjoyed this book. The only thing that could have made it better would have been an epilogue.

I love this story I felt the love and heartache of Olivia when she came back to Mati and her list of her mom. Melissa characters are very realistic and moving.

This one was a drag. Too many typos, the same sentence structure throughout the whole freaking book, overuse of the gerund. It was an exhausting read.

The back and forth between the main characters was daunting and tiring at times. It was a slow read but I wanted to finish the book if nothing else but for the location descriptions. It was a book on overcoming & living through grief and how it affects relationships. I'm glad love conquers all.

Very heartwarming novel. This is tiny amount of angst in the beginning but for the most part it is a very easy read. Its a story of second chances and overcoming grief. The two MC's are really cute together but overall the story left me wanting more.

Life and Love in London Town
Mati and Olivia had it all until a job took Mati to London, ending their relationship. Mati is lonely but doing her best to move on with her life. When Olivia turns up in London broken and with a heavy heart, can they manage to find their way back to each other?

This is an emotional tale with sorrow and loss, love and hope and everything in between. I liked the story and the premise. The romance was good and the support they gave each other was wonderful. I did feel it dragged a bit but not so much it was bothersome. I loved watching the Mati and Olivia heal and grow stronger as a couple while adjusting to their new life. In spite of the length of the novel, it was a fast read and one I was pleased to read.
