[Read in Russian] Ustinova in this novel pokes fun at many aspects of modern Russia, from talk shows, reporters, rappers to incompetent police officers. The best is her description of the transformation of a research institute from a highly respected one in communist times to barely a shed during the transition, then to a fairly modern one in capitalism. The novel is very funny in many places, which makes up for the writer's usual, but unlikely, solving of the case by amateurs. And of course, this time there is not just one, but two love stories.
