Paranormal meets Sci-Fi and Steamy Romance

One man thrust into an uncertain future
One woman who seeks the truth
A race to save the known universe

Captain Vivien Demazi didn’t believe in aliens. Having spent a lifetime in the military tends to beat out such fanciful notions. But being abducted by giant Reptiles and crashing on a frigid alien planet, the last thing Vivien expects is to find herself in the protective arms of a golden-skinned, drop-dead gorgeous alien.

Striker’s first mission upon his promotion to Commander of Starlight is to rescue the human female last seen smuggled onto the planet Callisto – a planet long occupied by the malicious Reptiles. He must stop her from falling into their hands at all costs. The fate of the known universe rests on his success.

What he doesn’t count on is, the fragile and scared human female he expects to find cowering and waiting to be rescued is a no-nonsense, experienced soldier who takes him prisoner instead.

Striker is drawn to this fiery woman, and against his better judgement, he finds he can’t stop himself from kissing her. What he doesn’t expect to find is the depth of connection between two war-weary soldiers that has the power to heal bodies, minds and hearts.

After the amazing discovery of what happened to the planet’s original inhabitants, the faint hope for a future free of Reptile tyranny and an undeniable attraction, Striker’s first mission may become his most impossible.

Together, Vivien and Striker must fight for their survival, not only for the fate of the planet, but for their destinies, before everything is lost.

Bentornate Fenici!

This is book 2 to the Hexonian Alien Romance series and I enjoyed it immensely. Stryker is out to find a human woman who was kidnapped by alien reptiles 🦎 they put a tracking device in her neck put her in a pod and shot her through a wormhole to a planet that these reptiles 🦎 live. Stryker finds Vivien but he doesn’t find a cowering scared woman he finds a fighter. I loved this story and the attraction between Stryker and Vivien was extra 🔥 a fast paced action packed story with danger, suspense, twists and turns, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Another big thank you Charmaine and to Booksprout for giving me this reviewing opportunity.

This books is a sequel but it read like a stand alone to me, phew.

What worked for me:
-the human and alien sex was hot
-the main characters make each other better versions of themselves
-the futuristic world created was believable

What did not work for me:
-minor editing issues
-some of the middle parts of the story dragged for me

Trigger warning: military related PTSD

Ideal reader: someone who likes hot sex between humans and aliens set in a futuristic world

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 2nd in the series and while there were references to the first, not having read it, it did not detract! I loved that this has meat, (and potatoes, and veggies!) In fact it is the whole package and delivers really well! The story line has depth and both main characters are not without flaws which makes the whole more rounded!
I Loved the tree people and how they interacted and aided!
All in all a really nicely rounded, well written whole and I look forward to the rest of the series!

Striker: A Hexonian Alien Abduction Romance Book 2
By Charmaine Ross
Kindle unlimited purchase
Vivien is an experienced captain in the Australian SAS. She is a no-nonsense take charge kind of woman. But she has baggage and it has nothing to do with being abducted by aliens.
Striker was given command of the Starship Starlight in book 1. Now it is his responsibility to find the human female on Callisto before the Reptiles do.
This book was great. Vivian and Striker were made for each other.

This was a really well written story, it was sexy and steamy but that was only part of it. The storyline was great, it sucked me in right away and had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The different alien races/species were fantastic and original, the characters were perfect. The world building, dialogue and pace of the story were all done amazingly. I was equally intrigued and entertained from start to finish.

Wow!

This book was so intense and a bit scary. I know it’s fiction but that doesn’t stop me from wishing that handsome aliens were real and evil didn’t exist. I thought the writer did a great job of world building and character development. The relationship between Striker and Vivien was SO frustrating because her dad and life had really done a number on her self esteem. And those last few chapters kept me on the edge of my seat. I am REALLY enjoying this series.

The second book in a series. Very well written and attention grabbing. A very experienced female soldier and an alien male. A lot of drama and bad situations as they go along. Not to mention an extreme attraction to each other. No spoilers. It is exciting, emotional, suspenseful, intriguing and so much more. I received a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.

Wonderful 2nd Book. Love Striker and Vivien. It's nice to see a female ass kicking main character, instead of the typical damsel in distress. Ross' FMC always seem to have fire in them and really like to see that. Twists in the story that I didn't see coming that really are interesting and fun. Counting the days for book 3.

Exciting and Adventurous

This book is just as great as the first one and keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish? It has everything you want in a romance with plenty of action, adventure, evil reptiles, drama, love, and steamy sexy scenes that sizzles but not over the top with awesome characters? Loved it and definitely a must buy.

Striker

Another good book on different Aliens. I like that the authors writing this genre make up good ALIENS. So life like and realistic makes it seem as though you're right there. I look forward to other new ones coming from the different authors in this genre.

Again, the name thing, they never introduced themselves but she knows his name is Striker. At least this time she gives her name.
Taking a twist that I'm not sure I like but it's still an easy fast read with Alpha males, danger and instant connections.

Couldn't put it down

Memories can be wonderful or frightful or down right paralyzing. Vivien and Striker both had to learn to deal with them. All of this made for an incredible story!

Awesome!

This one will put you through the emotional wringer. Your heart will weep for everything Vivian has endured in her life. Striker is great comic relief. Looking forward to the next book.

Striker

Vivian is a captain in the SAS but it didn't prepare her for being abducted by aliens or for falling in love with Striker .

It's good but a lot of working mistakes

As the title says. A nice little read but so many spelling and grammar mistakes and I'm shut at both 😁

Loved the flora

Loved the transition to flora by the natives. I think the pain and suffering by Vivien was not a comfortable thing for me but very well written.

Good storyline however Vivien's pride pissed me off & I think ruined the story. Also she is too self-absorbed. I hate that I have the same name as her.
Striker should have left miserable since she was so determined to be so. Some people like being happy, cheerful and giddy. And some likes being unhappy, lonely & all sorts of other emotions. In this book Vivien WANTS to be miserable, so she should be. Striker shouldn't have changed who she WANTS to be. But then this is fiction so thank god that in reality there is no one who is willing to waste time on someone who wants to be miserable for the rest of their lives.
I liked Striker, the Callisteans & the other women scenes best, as well as the Epilogue.
There is also some inconsistencies for example in the last book Jo'Aquin when they learn another human had been abducted & sent to a neighboring planet, which they named Annexor. But when Striker arrives on 'Annexor' it has been renamed Callisto, & in this epilogue the planet Annexor is used again only this time it is 2 galaxies away. Will Annexor really be the planet Alastor & Marie be sent to or will it be renamed when they arrive??

This was an awesome book; I cried, I laughed, the steamy scenes made me sweat – I didn’t want it to end. I fell in love with Striker and Vivien as they fought to survive the reptiles and their crash landing on the planet Callisto. Well-written, engaging characters, fast paced and filled with non stop action. There were quite a few twists in this story that kept things interesting.
Vivien is a tough military person who can usually take care of herself but this time, she needs help from Striker. I really felt for Vivien as she worked through her issues and it was sweet how supportive Striker was in helping her. Can't wait for the next book in this series!
