Definitely one of my favorite volumes so far. Possibly number 2 after volume 20. The previous volume ended with Escanor surprising everyone when he destroyed Gloxinia and Drole. Meliodas shows his demonic powers and fights these two, and later all Commandments at once (he cannot be any more badass tbh). I'll leave at this because the following chapters are super important and good for the whole series. It would be unfair to spoil all of you. In general, as I mentioned before, I really liked this book and I can see that it is getting better regarding both plot and the characters.
So you guys may remember that Volume 21 left us hanging, it was cruel. It was mean. But we finally get to see what happens next! This volume has so much action and fighting throughout, and things get pretty dark, so fair warning.
After the end of last volume it seems that Meliodas has run out of patience and he's not f***ing around anymore. He even engages his whole dark mark thing but seems to be more aware than before either as a result of his power growth or because he's mastered it more. Not sure. Meliodas faces off against not just Drole and Gloxinia but all of the remaining Commandments. As you can imagine, the battle is pretty epic and there's a lot of twists and turns as the tide of power changes.
I'm not going to lie to you guys, my fave saved the day...or at least he tried. I love Ban and it was nice to see him get his hero moment, even if it didn't go quite as planned. Meliodas and Ban's friendship is one of my favourites in this series and last volume kind of spoiled me with it and then this volume and I was loving it. It's been nice to see the different facets of it and Ban's belief in his friend.
Things get pretty dark towards the end of this volume so the light hearted bonus story was definitely necessary. The story moves along with a one month time jump that's definitely changed things up just from the small glimpse we got! There's a nice big, shock plot twist too. I'm interested to see what's happened in the month we've missed and how the plot twist and time jump will have changed things. I'm hoping we'll get to see more of Arthur as we do get to know some interesting information about his cat friend, and I'm curious about how it's going to play out.
Arthur's fighting until the bitter end. The Holy Knights aren't safe anymore. The Commandments are running rampant. Our story has moved forward to a new place and we have to wait until next volume to see who's still alive, and what's going on with our group and how the dynamic of the story has changed.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...you can't just leave me hanging like that! What is it with manga and anime and these mean cliffhangers recently?! The wait between volumes is getting more and more painful as the story picks up and really starts to get serious.

The scene where Ban was going to ask Elaine permission to take Melascula's life in order to save Meliodas, despite it killing Elaine, and Elaine telling him he didn't need to ask her permission, is hands down one of my favorite scenes in anime. Their relationship is one of the best and it makes me so happy.
Too bad the rest of the volume wasn't that great, even the fight scenes were lackluster compared to previous volumes. Hopefully this doesn't mark a decline in the series, I can't deal with that right now...

In this novel, we have a confrontation between Meliodas and the Ten Commandments and while Ban tries to save Meliodas, it isn't enough and he fails to prevent Estarossa, another Ten Commandments and one of Meliodas's brothers, from stabbing Meliodas hearts (high raking demons have seven hearts). I know from seeing the anime what will happen next, but this volume still broke my heart.
So......he was the Ten Commandants Commander......but betrayed them and led to their defeat.....what made him betray them?
he......died....? And Elizabeth is just......serving Ale? You would think she would be trying to help in the slaughter but.....I guess she kind of is. The Boars Hat seems to be a safe space. but.....really?

Absolutely love the anime so figured I would give the manga a shot, and boy was I half I did. The manga is, in my opinion, far superior to the already outstanding anime. If you like the anime and story of The Seven Deadly Sins, give the manga a go, you won't be sorry.
I love this part of the story. I was never worried about Meliodas but it did shook me when I first saw the anime. I would'v liked the focus on the secondary characters to be x2000 better. Totally unrelated but this might be my favorite cver so far. Meliodas looks so bad ass and and cool.
Serinin şüphesiz en iyi ve en heyecanlı dövüşlerinden biri bu ciltteydi. Meliodas ile On Emir sonunda karşı karşıya geliyor. Başta sadece Gloxinia ve Drole'a karşı dövüşürken geri kalan On Emir üyelerinin gelişiyle işler tersine dönüyor.
It's Meliodas vs. two of the Ten Commandments! Insert lots of epic fight scenes and a small bit of story that only leads to a lot more questions.
But that ending though...WTF?! NO THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANTED! PLEASE TELL ME I'M READING THIS WRONG OR THAT I'M MISSING SOME REALLY TINY IMPORTANT DETAIL!
