This is a math book that we borrowed from the local library to help us get caught up on some of the pre-requisites we need to go back to college for a degree in the social sciences. Mind you it is very like a text book and it is rather good at what it does though it does go to fast and skims over some topics. We found it really useful even with the occasional wrong answer (4x+4=21) yea I know but they had the answer down as x=2 which is just not right.
Anyhow a good book as a refresher course.
