Rebirth of the Wolfish Silkpants Bottom

No le veo los pies ni la cabeza a esta novela.
El shou es un tipo de 30 pero se comporta como un niño de 5... La relación con el gong es muy rara. No tengo problema con que el shou renaciera como un menor, lo que me desespera son sus actitudes. Así que mejor, la abandono. No me da tanto para el morbo.

Overall, an okay story. It sated my longing for revenge and yearning for rebirth situation.
It's got theme similar to the TV Show, Da Shi Dai (The Greed of Man), and it's (indeed) about one of our shortcoming of a human nature, greed. Bully the weak, suck up to the strong.
Sure, it's got plenty of gou xue (lit. dog blood; fig. melodrama, cliche) and papapa(Ai! You know what I mean ba), but at least there's some interesting goals and roadblocks along the way. And logic wasn't fully abandoned, aka Shu Cheng and Shu Heng wondering why the heck does Shu Ning hates Shu Yao and Qin Yu Zhou so much that he refused to even give them a space to do a 180. I mean, not many rebirth novels takes this in consideration where everyone doesn't have a question because the protagonist halo is too strong!
To the ones that says that it's pedo-biased:
I get why they said it puts ya'll off with the pedophile thing, but one has to remember that the age difference between the MC (Main character) and the LI/ML(Love Interest/Male Lead) is just 5 years... I'm taking a wild bet and will ask you, are the older one of your parent's a pedo? I mean, come on, it just started young, like you'd go "aww" over stories with 'childhood sweethearts' but wait, oh right, it's normal for boyxgirl to be childhood sweethearts, but not homosexual-oriented ones.
But there's one point I agree with you, it's creepy tho.

Fan service,this is pure fan service. Also the translation is hilarious( cold emperor aura, his gaze was particularly deep,like a proud Phoenix that never bends its head). And the plot is decent so there you have it.

DNFed because literally everything about this book is a steaming pile of crap.
Thinly veiled excuse to sexualize a child, rampant pedophilia, and textbook grooming of a minor by an adult. I genuinely don’t care if the MC is a 30 yo in a child’s body. He doesn’t act like it, literally no one else is aware of it (especially the ML who gropes him constantly) and the book spends a lot of time focusing on sexualizing how cute and young and adorable he is. The ML controls every aspect of his life, to include what food he is and isn’t allowed to eat and blatantly violates his boundaries until he gives up fighting him and tbh, I genuinely felt sorry for most of the people the MC was trying to get revenge on in this life because the situation was so wildly different this time around and tbh most of the things they did to him in his previous life seemed to be consequences of his own shitty actions and they were nice enough people this time around, being punished for something they haven’t done.
Excuse me while I go throw up a little and hate myself for ever even starting this.

ML kind of nurture MC to be his lover since young age because they live as brother. ML know that they are not brother by blood. That why he already fall in love with ML early on.
This story, pure fluff. So much fluffiness and prettiness. Love how ML dote on the little MC.
Be warned that it has pedophile-kind-of-vibe. But it fine me because it start when they both are minor. ML 17 & MC 13.

October 13, 2019I dropped this due to the creepy pedophile vibes. Despite having the supposed mental age of an adult the MC is still in a child's body when the ML starts having intentions. It made feel ill.
I honestly wish for the first time that there was a way to give minus stars.

This is a rebirth novel. The MC, Shu Ning, suffered quite a bit in his previous life and was screwed over by the people he thought cared about him. In his reborn life, he's determined to get revenge on everyone who screwed him over and hug the thigh of his older brother and ML, Shu Heng, who he thought hated him in his previous life but was actually indifferent.
I picked this up because I really enjoy this trope, but not gonna lie, I was uncomfortable reading a lot of this story... I know the MC, Shu Ning, is mentally a 30 year old man (the author really makes a point of calling this out constantly), but when the story starts, no matter what, he's still in the body of a 13 year old. What made it easier to accept was that the ML is 17/18 and still in high school at the beginning, so technically they're both kids?
I also didn't like how the author built up the romance... it was like ML was grooming the MC into his lover, which I found quite icky. Some of the stuff SH made SN wear or some of the "innocent brotherly" things they did had me going @_@... I wanted to see their relationship build up in a normal way before the romance kicked in, but unfortunately almost as soon as they met, the ML was already feeling something for the MC. And don't get me started on the papapa scenes... they were so unrealistic. I was quite annoyed by how SN kept passing out in the middle for the longest time. Plus near the end, they were doing it all the time and there was pretty much no story by that point.
Still, despite my problems with the romance, I persevered because I wanted to see all the spiteful characters from SN's past life get their just desserts. And sadly, I was also disappointed on this front. The most hateful characters, like Shu Ning's mom and younger brother, had a relatively easy time of it, despite SN repeating over and over again that he wanted to make them suffer. Conversely, some other characters that I thought weren't as important had a pretty rough time and essentially became prostitutes, which I found odd. It would've been so nice to see SN reveal the breadth of his business empire and how much money he's made to his mom and Shu Yao, but that didn't happen either. The revenge felt quite lackluster and unsatisfying.

Voy a ser totalmente sincera por que no quiero que alguien pierda su tiempo en leerla y que al final las decepcione.
Bueno, la novela empieza bien pero apartir de cierto capitulo en Gong te empieza a causar desesperacion, me estresaba mucho y el Shou también, llego a puntos en que ya no podia continuar leyendola y la pause muchisimas veces, me causo bloqueo lector y cada que intentaba leerla solo podia avanzar 1 o 2 capitulos, muchos tenian problemas con la edad, ese no era mi problema, mi problema era la actitud de ambos en especial la del Gong como dije antes.
Simplemente un dia tome valor y la termine de leer.
Es interesante y buena, pero la verdad me esperaba algo diferente cuando empecé a leerla, pero como dicen aca donde vivo "para gustos hay colores" quiero decir, cada ser humano es libre de opinar, desear o gustar de lo que quiera, asi que supongo que asi como a mi no me gusto al 100%, habra algunas personas que la amaran, por que la historia esta bien escrita y es interesante a su manera.
Otra cosa que lo dire como un pequeño spoiler:
el que mas me causaba desesperacion era el papá del Shou, ese hombre era muy tonto, de hecho la palabra tonto es poco para lo menso que era, pero bueno, bien dicen que el amor a veces te ciega.

My rating had nothing to do with the age of both leads because the MC was 13 and the ML was 18. Yes, the ML was considered an adult but, it's not like any 13 years old nowadays no nothing about the birds and the bees. especially as a reader, I knew that MC was a 30 years old man reborn as 13 years old him. My rating was mainly because the story was too slow. I knew that the author was trying to build a believable relationship between the leads but, it was too slow. The MC in his past life believed everything his mother told him and she end up abandoning him before his death. So, in his new life, he decided to follow his step-brother because, in his past life, the step-brother was the one helping him behind the scene. I'm using step-brother loosely here as they both were not related whatsoever. They did not share the same set of parents and were not registered under the same household. Even during their past life, they were not close so, no brotherly bond there. In fact, they were enemies.

There really shouldn't have been more than ten chapters - it got tediously boring after twenty and I only persisted because I thought it'd get better.
It didn't.
The grooming wasn't subtle as well. I know the protagonist was basically 30 years old mentally when he travelled back in time so as readers, we would know that he's mature.
But Shu Heng didn't know that.
Shu Heng thought Shu Ning was a 15-year-old tender boy.
Both of them were pitiful in their affections towards each other honestly.
It didn't.

Hay demasiadas cosas mal moralmente: machismo, misoginia, sexismo, homofobia, sexualización de menores, grooming, trata de personas, etc. Parece que fue escrito en 1990, sinceramente.
Yo hasta soy tolerante con muchas cosas siempre, pero llegó hasta el punto en que simplemente no podía ignorarlas. Me mantenía leyendo por el fluff, pero simplemente no compensa lo poco bueno qué hay.
No la recomiendo. Y si la vas a leer, echa un buen vistazo a las etiquetas de la novela antes de empezarla.

Eu odiei! Acho até que dar uma estrela é muito. O ML é um maníaco que sente atração pelo irmão mais novo enquanto ele ainda é um menor de idade. Simples! Não preciso falar mais nada, não leia esta história.
Eu estava lendo para fazer uma resenha completa, mas não consegui. Me senti bastante enojada com a história e dropei a mesma.

Lo leí en wattpad, lo sentí extremadamente larga de leer, la venganza ok, pero muy sangrienta y descriptiva en algunas partes, se toma muy en serio el ojo por ojo. La relación con el hermano muy 🥵 y se agradece, lleno el vacío de fetiches que tenía. Historia predeciblemente encantadora, si no recordamos todo lo que vivió en su primera vida.

The transmigrator is a 30 year-old in a 13 year-old body, being seduced by his 18-year-old adopted brother. If the situation wasn't so predatory, it would be a light entertaining story. As it was, I didn't get over the icky factor.

Lots of fluff between ML and MC. Lots of face slapping and revenge too. But imo it's abit too much drama/ bitchy vibes for my liking.
I do like how the plots and revenge were written. Some bits of smut written (after about 2/3 of the book)

I surprisingly enjoyed this danmei a lot. I thought it was very interesting and was eager to keep reading it. It also didn't have an OP MC which was a nice change from the usual.

Read and finished this novel. It was a good novel, I just don't know how to feel with the relationship between the main characters, I find that the premise is very iffy

The ending made me feel pain from the cringe, like tf? Out of nowhere the other characters went puff in the air and the kids r so weird and then a daughter just because(? And also that random death at the end that was completely glossed over even with the whole part of the story that made us supposed to care(???

Tbh the most interesting parts were about the villains (up to the middle), mainly the plot points that included the mother and family. But then the most interesting one was defeated and the other interesting one just went puff in the air. :(

It’s an amazing read! I love it wish all my heart and even fell like I can read it again, which is vary rare for me.
This is one of the best novels I’ve read, and the one where I started to love Re-birth with second chance.
The plot is good, with enough of emotions on the way. It is never boring. The main couple is so sweet. I’m so in love with this novels that I don’t have enough words to explain.

June 27, 2023DNF - at chapter 40. This novel is quite confusing (the translation is really good so I think this is probably due to the author’s writing style).
The blatant paedophilia and MC’s illogical cruelty after rebirth didn’t work for me. This novel started dragging and I lost interest.
Won’t be picking this up again.
