Legal Thriller from a Lawyers view
The store line flowed very well between the three volumes. Was an eye opening experience to see how a lawyer can work a case. Was a little disappointed in the third book. You knew what the outcome was going to be for the defendant, but it was a challenge to follow the story line. Lots of twist and turns that make for a very interesting read. Did not agree with the end results for the lawyer and his wife. I would “assume” the hospital would have a procedure to prevent that outcome. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Do enjoy the author and his knowledge of the court system.

Outstanding! A rollercoaster emotional ride from Joy and excitement to sadness, grief and anger, from laughter to years and back again, all with well developed characters to love of hate, like or loathe. Legal thrillers don't get much better than John Ellsworth 's.
I found it difficult to put these books down and recommend them to everyone who enjoys interesting legal drama and great writing.

Definitely a good read
Good pace and interesting characters. The courtroom scenes were very authentic and for once the results were not a foregone conclusion, which was very refreshing. No cliched characterisation of cops, priests or lawyers, again a welcome change from so many novels of this genre. Will certainly be reading more of these books.

Great read! I love John Ellsworth novels. This book was very good, it had me up late to get to the end of it. I did have a feeling it was going to have an exciting finish and it did. He is the best, I Look forward to more of John's work.

Loved them all
Three great books that I would highly recommend although the secrets girls keep was my favourite of these three. Michael Gresham and Marcel are great characters, loved the storylines as well.

This is another of a book focused on Michael Gresham. In this book like the others John Ellsworth uses all his experience as an attorney to bring twists and turns to life. You will not be disappointed in this one.

Great story, even when I guessed the ending I was surprised by the twists and turns. I didn't know the endings which made th reading all the more exciting.

Disturbing and all over the place. Couldn’t finish book 2 so didn’t bother reading book 3. I generally like this author but nope not this series
