Welcome to Charm Cove, Maine – where the Good are Wicked, and the Wicked are Good… or maybe not.
The holidays are upon Charm Cove, and Moira Wicked is up to her eyeballs in magic as she manages Persnickety Potions & Gifts for her family. One evening after a busy day, she assumes she must be way too tipsy from her wine when she hears a commotion down at the beach by her home.
Nope. Not too tipsy from wine. Lo and behold, a boat was dashed against the rocky coastline in the darkness. That’s enough news all by itself, but even worse, the three passengers who were believed to have been on the boat have vanished into thin air. So has the warlock who runs the lighthouse.
To top it all off, Beacon’s Charm Lighthouse is broken. That should be impossible because it runs on magic and has for centuries.
Moira is chasing down the leads to find everyone who’s missing and get the magic to work for the lighthouse again. Turns out when something runs on magic, the usual tricks don’t fix it. The witchy families of Charm Cove find themselves fending off curious queries from officials about just what’s wrong with their town’s lighthouse.
Meanwhile, throngs of visitors crowd the streets, buying up holiday magic by the bottle. Moira’s destiny is also bearing down upon her. Will she meet her fate in time for Christmas, or not?
Take a visit to Charm Cove, where Wicked meets Good and where you just might find there’s almost always more than meets the eye.
Lucy May loves coffee, dogs, cooking, and writing. She’s a misplaced Southerner living in Maine. She’s grown to love four seasons, but she still pines for sleepy southern summers. She likes to think she might’ve been a witch in another life and still believes in magic. She wiles away her time spinning silly, snarky & sexy paranormal stories.
This was a cute book. I liked Moira and Liam even more in this one, and the rest of the characters, like Aunt Lea, had some good things happening to them, too. The mystery was decent, if slightly confusing for me at the end. 4 stars. I can't wait for more!

Wicked Good Series: Spells and Silver Bells #3 - Another good addition to the Wicked Good Mystery series! I found this book more intriguing and suspenseful than its predecessors. The characters are interesting and likable, and the regulars steady grow along with the stories. The storylines, original and new, are interesting and intelligent. This book is a bit more substantial and took a bit longer to figure out the villains, but I did miss the main reason, which was....
There's an overview, which I appreciate knowing about a book before I read it. These books can be read out of sequence, but the storylines are build from the first book on, although all are standalones, no cliffhangers. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*
Destiny's A Witch #1 - I like this book better than Witch You Wouldn't Believe and Witch is When it Gets Crazy. The witches and warlocks are likable and their dialog realistic. I'm happy to see a male is called a warlock instead of witch (PC is so stupid with the sexes). Well written, clean but with sexual attraction makes this story entertaining.
Add mischievous teenage witches, nosy friends and family on top of family pressure to do the Destiny thing, while determining if a death was an accident or a murder, leaves the main characters in all types of states. Never mind if there's a second chance for them or it is Destiny, there's a lot of happenings. Pretty good story without the usual stupid drama found in a lot of this genre. 4*
Hex Me Not #2 - Another interesting book in the Wicked Good Mystery Series. The witches and warlocks are still likable, interesting and entertaining. The background storylines continue while the main mystery keeps the reader immersed in the quickly read, well thought plot. The story moves along a steady moving pace, is clean and without the usual stupid drama found in a lot of books of this genre. There's an overview, which I appreciate knowing what a book is about before I read it. I found this book on Booksprout. 4* Wicked Good End.
Moira Wicked stood on her back porch watching the snow. She heard a sudden crackling sound and loud voices out on the ocean, then it got quiet again. She figured it was imagination, but walked down to the shoreline just to be sure. She saw a fishing boat crashed against the rocks, intact except for its bow, and she called the police chief. Her phone vibrated with a call from Liam Good who said his cousin Nathan reported the lighthouse had stopped working. Since he was out of town, he called Moira to let her know. The lighthouse had run on magic for centuries and should never have failed like this!
The next day, her store, Persnickety Potions & Gifts, was swamped with tourists buying items for the Christmas holidays. In the midst of the chaos, her boyfriend Liam’s aunt, Opal Good, stopped by to tell her that Nathan, the lighthouse manager, had now disappeared! Moira’s mom phoned while they were talking to tell them the three missing people from the boat were at the police station. A cloaking spell had been cast on them – they were on the beach the whole time and could see and hear everything, but no one could see them! There had also been a spell put on their boat’s navigation system which disoriented them. This had been powerful magic to do all these things! How are they going to find out who is doing this before innocent tourists end up getting hurt? And will the Charm Cove witches have enough power of their own to defeat the scoundrels?
This is a truly adorable series! The characters are getting to be old friends to the reader by now. The story lines are getting better each time, keeping the reader in suspense as strange things happen all around. Who is doing this and why? Get your copy and see if you can sort out the mystery before Moira can!
Lucy May writes fun and entertaining stories full of witches and normal. And Spells and Silver Bells is another such story.
There is a lot going on in this charming tourist town. The Holidays are approaching. Someone has cancelled the ancient spell that keeps the Beacon's Charm Lighthouse working - but who has the power to do that? A boat crashes on the rocks - could they be responsible? The Coast Guard insists the light get fixed fast - could this be a play for the CG to take control of the lighthouse? There's even a Christmas Holiday event to plan: two parades, choirs, arts/crafts and more.
The town is crowded more than usual by tourists preparing for the Holidays. The town founders are sure the lighthouse failure and vandalism was the work outsiders, but how to identify the culprits in all the innocent tourists?
No matter what or how many issues, the Wicked and Good families always have time to remind Moira and Liam of their "Destiny" to be married and just when are they are going to fulfill their "Destiny" and get married.
Gotta give 5 stars to this relaxing and entertaining story.

So, this is the third book in the series I have purchased. The stories are nice little reads, but this time, I just could not finish. The author wastes at least three-fourths of every book on inane descriptions of architecture, clothing, etc. I swear, she must be meeting her word count by doing nothing more than copying the same useless descriptive dribble from one book to the next. The actual, readable and interesting story is probably 100 to 150 words. The rest is just repetitive crap. Honestly, how many times does a window have to be described as being "so large you can stand in it"? Or that the "house was the typical style, with a staircase dividing the downstairs, with the parlor on one side and the sitting room on the other."? I think these, characters must live in the most boring town on the planet!! No more for me until the author learns to flesh out her stories with simeyhing more interesting than the overly and repetitive descriptive crap she is using right now. Sorry. Not sorry.

This is a Wicked and Magical Romance series " You will love this quirky and funny mystery romance series. The characters are unique and Awesome. The stories will keep you glued to their pages. Moira manages her family's shop the Persnickety potions and gifts shop. The town she lives in is the Charm Cove Maine. It seems the little town of Charm Cove has another mystery! While our on her porch one night she hears a distant cracking sound. When she investigates Moria sees a shipwrecked boat. She could have sworn she heard voices to. Only she does not see anyone. She calls the police Chief. When he gets there they also learn the magical light in the light house is out! Then the lighthouse keeper turns up missing! Yep it looks like something wicked has come to Charm Cove again! You will love this super exciting, full of mystery, funny and thrilling magical romance! This is a five star plus story and series.
I forget that not all mysteries have to have a body to be a mystery. This is certainly one that does not have a body. The result is that I had to keep reading to figure out what was happening to solve the mystery. Learned more about this witching world this way. Fell in love with characters even more. My heart and wish is that the family lets them develop their relationship and ignore the destiny thing. Especially with what happens in this book. The time is now to do that.
This is the next in the series and happens during the holidays like we are going through now. You can read it by itself, though the background of the destiny and family is followed in every book, the best info is in the early books to get caught up.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Something odd is happening this holiday season in Charm Cove and Moira Wicked finds herself once again in the mix of a magical mystery. First, a boat crashes in the rocky coastline and the passengers are nowhere to be found, then the lighthouse stops working (impossible as it is run my magic), and then the warlock lighthouse keeper turns up missing.
Can Moira and the witch families discover what is happening in Charmed Cove before the holidays are ruined? With lots of wit, a cast of quirky and delightful characters, an interesting storyline, and lots of twists and turns, I found myself unable to put the book down until the very end.

I think this book is much improved writing wise, not as much repetition still some which really doesn’t need to be repeated more than once! I know this book can be read as a stand alone but if people want to know the back story start at book 1. I enjoyed the unusual script involving the lighthouse, witches, warlocks, and not to mention the main characters from the wicked and good families. This book is an easy read can be completed in one sitting if you have a couple of hours and is basically a cozy mystery with a paranormal theme, if you like these types of books start at book 1 and follow Moira and Liam as they readjust to life in a small town Maine USA setting.
Moira Wicked and Liam Good - how can these two not be fated to be together? They are also linked by a centuries old spell, created to stop hostilities between their families. They are dating, but Moira wont be pressured. Then the magic Lighthouse stops working, 3 people are in a fishing boat which is wrecked and they seem to disappear. Someone tries to steal Moira's magic - what is happening in their town? I had read the first book in this series, and loved it - but each book is also able to be read on its own - a brilliant read from a wonderful author - i cant wait to read more from her.

I have been addicted to this series from book one and have withdrawals waiting for the next book to be released. This book did not disappoint and now the wait begins for the next book. I highly recommend reading any and all books in this series. It is a highly addicting, easy read, amazing storyline with mystery & romance. The mystery will keep you guessing until the culprit is revealed, the romance is sweet and the paranormal aspect of this series is really fun.

I thought this was a fascinating and delightful read. The world building was done really well, made me wish I lived in that small town. The characters were a lot of fun too. I loved how she used Salem's witch trials to explain how this town came to be. The use of their lighthouse was fascinating as well and the mystery of how it got broken. And the main character's destiny, was a great part of the story.

The problems are just mounting up a boat crash to Christmas just around the corner and some things that should not happen and that all in the first chapter. Let me tell you the action just keeps going in Chapter 2 so be prepared for a fast moving story. This magical mystery was a hoot to read. I love the characters in Charm Cove and Ms. May writing was outstanding. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Wicked Good Christmas Cozy This is a Christmas episode in the Wicked Good Cozy Mystery series. This series is based around a coven of witches in a coastal Maine town. All of the books stand alone just fine, but the reader will find more enjoyment if the books are read in order. As always, the plot is very good! All the activities going along aside the main plot are very fun and quite enjoyable. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
I loved the Wicked Good series. This is another excellent 3rd in the series - but stand-alone cozy mystery that is filled with action from the start. I've read all 3 now and I prefer to read books in order because they often refer to previous events. This is no exception however, it really is not necessary. I love the action, the characters, and the series.

Moira Wicked and Liam Good are tired of their families pestering them to get married.
Between familial pressure to get married, a vandalised light house, planning the charm fest and finding who vandalised the light house, Liam and Moira are trying to live their life their way.
Once again a nice uncomplicated read. Not as good as the other books in the series but enjoyable none the less.

I love light, magical mysteries, with wonderfully quirky characters and an enchanting setting, and that is exactly what you get with this one. Add in the holiday season, and you have the perfect cozy. The mystery in this one is a little more intense than with the other two books, but it's still light, and the length of the book makes it perfect for an afternoon escape from reality. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
A brilliant mystery story ,clean romantic and fun Lots of red herrings and twists to this story as you would expect and a very Christmassy feel that is just right to put you in the mood for celebrations and fun

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Book three in the Wicked Good Mystery Series this is a Holiday story. Moira Wicked has to find out how to solve a mystery that is happening in her town of Charm Cove there is intriguing and suspenseful. A well-written story that held my interest throughout.
Loved this fun, magical Holiday story with interesting characters and magical twists that kept me entertained. Crazy things are happening in Charm Cove and to top it off it's tourist season. This is a well written read full of mystery, suspense, humor and magic. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This is a great, sweet series that I really enjoy. I guess technically, this can be read as a stand alone, but I really think this needs to be read in order. I started with book 4 (arc copy) and decided to go back and start from the beginning. It made it easier to understand the back ground of the characters.
The series as a whole is fantastic. I highly recommend this series.
Lucy May did an excellent job with this book, but she has a tendency to think you forget who characters are and tells you over and over again who they are. But I do recommend that you read this book and series
Her life is full when trouble hits as a lifeboats crashes and the people in it were gone. The light in the lighthouse is out and it should not be as it runs on magic. What is going on? See what is going on and if she can put it all right
Loved this book! The characters are wonderful and the storyline is fantastic. The are some fun and flirty parts and good mystery parts so it gives you a little bit of everything.
This is a really good series and I highly recommended it. It's nice to read about the witch families and how they all work together for the good of their community. It is a shame that the sheriff has to constantly cover for the families. Poor man.
This is book #3 in the series. Also a continuation of Liam and Moira's fated romance. I sure enjoy these books. There is always suspense as there is a new mystery going on in town and its heating up between Liam and Moira. Keeps me wanting to know more. Recommend.
