Kemp #1

Kemp: The Road to Crecy

Rate this book
For Kemp the choice is easy. Face death by hanging for a rape and murder he did not commit or take his longbow and follow the king on his latest Foray against the French. It seems his dreams of reliving the, chivalric adventures of the knights of Arthur's Round Table are about to come true. But the reality is very different. Kemp's war is a terrifying odyssey through the panic and confusion of his first battle, the brutal realities of siege warfare and eventually the field of Drecy, where he faces the armoured might of the French nobility. This stunning tale brings the medieval world vividly to life as Kemp fights for the right to be recognised as any man's equal.

I thought this book was good. The characters were great. I love reading anything pertaining to the Hundred Years War...
