The couple: Jace and Lucy

Plot: Lucy has just overheard her love interest, Jace, having a conversation with someone on the phone that indicates he could have gotten her sister pregnant. Understandably, she takes off, and when he realizes that she overheard him, he goes to find her. It takes a while, but they sort things out. It's not exactly as it seems. Jace never cheated on her, and it's not the sister Lucy thought - there's another sister, thought lost, but now found. The evil organization Lucy and Jace and their soldier friends have been fighting has stepped up its agenda, and Lucy, Jace, and both of her sisters are in grave danger. By the end of the story, one sister will be saved, one sister will be lost, and one will give everything she has to make things right again.
Commentary: I'm pretty good at picking up a book in the middle of a series and being able to figure out what's going on with a continuing story arc, but not this time. There were so many other people - family, partners, fellow agents and soldiers. And there were so many different groups of people- the group of bad guys and their connections, the good guys with the government, kinda with the government, off-books. It got a little confusing for me at times. That's not a criticism of the book - if I had read from the beginning of the series, I/m sure I would have understood. It's just a warning - if this is your first book in the series, go back to the beginning and save yourself some confusion.
There is an element of genetic manipulation in this book. Apparently, in the previous book, Jace was kidnapped and given a drug that activated/gave him the power of reading minds. He doesn't use it on purpose except once when he reads the mind of a prisoner to get some information. So it might play a larger part (other people have gotten powers too) in future books, but here it was kind of a dud.
Jace and Lucy were cute together, in a sort of "I love you babe," "I love you more babe," kind of way - a little cute, a little sickening, the kind of couple you wouldn't want to be around for too long.
Lucy was a stereotypical "bada$$ heroine" who could be everyone at everything all the time. Not my favorite because it always comes off as a little unrealistic. Nobody noticed that she became an elite assassin. She just happened to be an MMA champion. Super sniper. Etc.

I've read books 1 and 2 in this series, but this one is the best of all. Passionate love, hot and sexy, and comforting love for times gone wrong live together, making Jace and Lucy unforgettable characters. The energy in this one is high and the plot moves quickly. The supporting characters are also well-written. If you're looking for a "bodice ripper" with no other plot, this isn't the book for you. But if you want sexy romance and danger tied up with characters you'll feel you know, this is it!
Maddie Wade again plays with a touch of the paranormal, but she makes everything believable. I can't wait to see what she does with the next one!

I have been waiting with baited breath for the next in this series, and after reading it I was not disappointed.
Maddie Wade has written a series of exciting, action packed, hot as hell books which just keep getting better!
Lucy and Jace's story is the third book in the Fortis Security series and, for me, the most exciting yet!
Lucy and Jace have been in love forever, but neither have acknowledged it to one another, events occur (no spoilers)! and they open their hearts to each other, now, this happens quite early in the story and so very often in a book a romance can get boring to read when "love" is declared near the beginning of a story, but not in this case.
The plot around The Divine Watchers is hotting up and with all the twists and turns in the book Lucy and Jace's romance flows with the story perfectly.
I enjoyed getting to know the members of the Fortis gang more and as their personalities develop so does my adoration for them.....it's fabulous to know there are more books to come (so excited for Ava and Zack's story).
I laughed, shed a tear and bite my nails with anticipation at this book.
If you haven't picked up Maddie Wade Fortis Security Series yet, then why? You are missing out on an addictive read.

I volunteered to read an arc copy of this for an honest review.
Oh boy! these two have been in love with each other for years and just when you think they will actually get together so the plot conspires against them. With people interfering by snatching and using Sly and his team for their own ends, messing with his abilities with unknown medication as we left the last book the Fortis Team get him back. Lucy Is one of the strongest members of the team her only weakness is those she loves, but she has secrets she has kept from them and only a few know what it is. As this third part of this series progresses we get a few more answers and more twists and turns, we also find out what happened to another member of Sly's team. News on another family member is a shock and a blessing, but the threats keep coming. Intense, suspenseful and exciting. This series just keeps getting better and even more thrilling, it keeps you on edge not knowing what next will spring out to surprise you. I hate the fact I have finished this book and the next part isn't written yet, it means I will have to wait impatiently for Maddie to write it. Not sure that I can though I really want it now.

Well this has been a full action packed and steamy read for me, my only regret is I never read the first two in the series which would have helped me know the characters and their relationships to each other. Lucy Bennett overhears a one-sided telephone conversation as she arrives at her boyfriend Jace's house, heart broken she flees but all is not what she thought. Lucy will need to face the hurt and guilt she has hidden since childhood and Jace loves her has done since childhood. Now there may be something big enough to tear them apart for good........ This has kept me turning the pages as you feel their emotions, the family loyalties even if it isn't through blood are so strong and you get some history with the characters that are all very strong ones. I loved the plot with The Divine Watchers and now need to go back and read the first one. I received this ARC from the author and I voluntarily leave my honest unbiased review

Love Divided is the third installment in the Fortis Security series by Maddie Wade, in which Ms. Wade exhibits marvelous growth as an author. If you weren't hooked on the series before...this is the book that will accomplish that. The members of The Bennett family, Colin, Dane, Lizzie, Lucy, Mateo, and Lauren connect beautifully with the readers by the humble way of exposing their conflicting feelings of fear, inadequacy and familial love. Dane, Lizzie and Lucy are a beautiful tribute to siblinghood.
Jace and Lucy are wonderful characters as individuals, operatives, and as a couple, they sync perfectly. Without a doubt, Lucy Bennett earned being the center of the story.
I enjoyed visiting with old characters as well as the addition of the Zenobi team. The Divine Watchers are still strong despite some of the victories by The Fortis. And they, The Watchers, just set in motion a plan that is going to shake The Fortis to the very core.
Love Divided has twists, twists and more twists that will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

I absolutely loved this book! It is my favorite so far! The action and the twist and turns will keep you guessing! Jace and Lucy chemistry is off the charts. But what I love about them is their love of family. This series gets better and better. I can't wait to read more! I highly recommend this book and series!

This book is full of action and romance, and I love that it's also family oriented.

I have read all three books in this series and they just get better and better. The underpinning plot centres around the Fortis security team located in the city of Hereford and is fast paced story involving ex special forces operatives. The characters within the team have developed with a complex set of relationships which add depth to the story, making you really care about them.
This book centres around the story of Lucy and Jace and their romance which is threatened by past secrets. It is great to see a heroine who can keep up with men in the team and hold her own. The threat from the Divine Watchers is every present and adds a slight paranormal twist to an otherwise action adventure romance.
Maddie has also expertly threaded the beginnings of other story lines within this book that just beg to be told. I cannot wait for the next instalment to see which direction they take. Well done Maddie-write fast. Please!

We return to the two main characters Lucy a very guarded person with her secrets and Jace, who can hear everyones thoughts except the woman he has loved forever!
Tragedy, twists and turns are abound in this book with lots of action and adventure as well as the steamy scene's.
Maddie writes with such ease, flare and passion, you fall in love and care about her characters, I cannot recommend this book enough!

1. Hero in love with heroine for so long and sleeps with other women throughout that time as a substitute until he can have her. And then tells her!! Um... sigh. I would love for once, to read about heroines having mind-blowing sex in the years they hang around waiting for the men they love to figure things out.

What wasn’t to love about this story!!! Lucy is an absolutely fantastic character. She’s so kick ass and capable at everything she does but she also has a soft side that not many get to see, which just makes her all the more endearing.
Jace - wow!! There isn’t any interaction with Jace that doesn’t make me sit up straighter dare I say, my ovaries tingle. He’s a beautiful character. The dynamic of Jace and Lucy together was spellbinding and totally addictive.
The chemistry between the two was a living, breathing entity.
I love the unpredictability that comes as everyone once again fight against the evil still trying to take them down. They fight with strength and honour.
The talent with which Maddie Wade creates the world of Fortis. Controlling all moving parts with the talent of a symphony conductor. Maddie gives us hints through the story for future instalments. It makes watching the story unfold all the more interesting and addictive.
This series is almost like a warm blanket surrounding you on a cold day. You feel warmth and comfort move through your body as you enter this fantastic world, feeling a sense of belonging I haven’t felt with any other book.

The plot thickens as the connection between the evil cult and the Fortis families is revealed! The backstory about Lucy and her sisters Lizzie and Megan are centered on a centuries old prophesy about cleansing the earth!
The plot becomes riveting as the magnitude of the threat envelopes all the extended alliances forged by Fortis Security!
While the tale slows down to explain to explain the complex details and connection necessary to the storyline, the rapid action scenes soon follow!
I love the cast of characters and their firce loyalty to each other! A fascinating thriller with lots of emotions and steamy relationships!

Omg!!!!!
Ugh first off. What a cliffie. Jesus. I about died. Now on another note I love Jase and Lucy. She is kick ass and love how she can go toe to toe with all the guys. And then when you learn about her history. Wow. Love jase and how much he loves Luce. They have loved one another for years and just recently realized they should hide it from one another anymore. With his née abilities he is adjusting to life. Loved the shoot out Luce had with zin. So sick. But then ugh such heart break about learning about Megan. And then Lizzie. And poor smithie. Ugh. Thank god this series is over already as I am plowing through the books and know at least smithie has book. And that Liam has a book in the Eidolon series!

Lucy Bennett and Jace Ward have wanted each other for years and now that he’s back Lucy can’t understand why he’s holding back. Then she overhears Jace and Zane talking about his time with DW, their relationship is upended by Jace’s answer to a question but opens dialog about missing sister, Megan, also a DW prisoner. Tired of the whole DW situation, Lucy reaches into her past introducing the team to her actual skill set and a new Fortis ally as DW launches a new plot.
Unfortunately, to my taste, this outing never gained urgency or momentum though the pieces were there.

Real love conquers all right?
Lucy and Jace have major hurdles to face in the journey of their long awaited relationship.
Will Lucy be able to face the what has happened to Jace and what it could mean for their relationship and her family.
These to are defo my favourite in the Fortis family. Lucy is kick ass and Jace is a sexy hot soldier that would do anything to protect those who matter to him.

Love this series!
Lucy and Jace are my favorite so far. They waited a long time and went through a lot to get to a point of being together. Only to have life get in the way again. Big time. And their job just adds danger to the mix! Looking forward to more books in this series...

Compulsive book
A great book not just as a single but the whole series. Each has a element of romance but thrill of the story had me never liking to put the book down. This is the 5 book in the series and every book has had my full attention from start to finish. I look forward to reading more from this author.

TRUSTING AND PUTTING THE PAST TO REST
A Maddie Wade book is a guarantee for fast paced action, twists and surprises that catapult the story forward, hot sizzling romance, plus intense edge of your seat drama from the very beginning to the very end.
Could not put it down. A not to be missed book in a not to be missed series. Definitely recommend.

Lucy has always loved Jace as an adult but they have never acted on it till recently. When they finally came together she discovered what he went through while his team was missing. Determined to end it all and get her ling lost sister things happened a lot of action sadness and secrets reveled. Hopefully they will get past this.

What A Book!
I throughly enjoyed this book! It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The emotions...I laughed and cried and fretted. Warning ⚠️ you will need tissues reading this book. Lucy and Jace and amazing. This series is fantastic!

Series continuing to get better!!
I have to take back my comments for book 1. This series is continuing to get better and better. Lucy and Have were awesome. They were fun and serious and real. The cliffhanger was so frustrating but can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

Another great book
OMG there are some twist in this story that will shock you. Sly is one man that any woman would want. Lucy is a bad ass. This was such a great book.
