I was REALLY looking forward to reading it, but... This is one of the worst books I have ever read about Astrology in my entire life. Yet, I gave it two stars because I could find some interesting references throughout the text.

The author has randomly chosen subjects to talk about and in spite of its short length, his approach was so confusing that sometimes I think I should have left it behind earlier. Still, I finished it and I have to say that the most annoying aspect of it was the fact that the content was NOT exclusively related to Traditional Astrology at all, as it tries to convey by its title, but a bunch of personal considerations and notes in between astronomical descriptions - or misleads, since he cites many ancient astrologers' standpoints without precisely suggesting how to follow and apply them - that would supposedly fit for the MODERN ASTROLOGER but wouldn't let the reader visualize what he was trying to explain.

Apparently, this seems much more of a facsimile than a substantial publication, so I would rather have had this subject explored by other authors in an organized and thorough method.
