Dying to Crochet

Rate this book
Veronica, who recently experienced a tragic loss, begins crocheting for its therapeutic benefits. When she accidentally invents a new stitch, her whole life changes; she now eats, sleeps and thinks crochet. The budding designer is quickly swept into the fascinating world of crochet fashion and design. When the unthinkable happens at a fiber convention, it is up to Veronica, her friends, and their knowledge of yarn and stitches to find the killer before the killer finds them. Written in a Crochet-Along-with-the-Character style, the book includes ten original designs plus directions for two additional pattern stitches.

Crafty people have gotten into the mystery writing mood it seems. This ones okay, you don't really have to know about crochet to like this, but it helps. Though I love to crochet, it could have had a little more mystery and a little less of crochet. The heroine, if you want to call her that, was a little unreal.

Cute story and you also get some good crochet patterns. If you like to crochet and enjoy light reading this is a good read.

I actually gave up on this book, the author was so detailed on the crochet and I found it boring. maybe for someone who doesn't crochet as much as I do they will enjoy the detail but I didn't.

couldn't get through it.... the style was not my cup of tea and the description of the crochet was too detailed for me. I am an avid crocheter and found it tedious to read each step explained.

This is a pretty good story but very poorly written. It's badly in need of a good editor.
