4 Truth In Advertising Stars

Every once in a while I enjoy a little Bow Chicka Bow Bow to read. I like to mix it up, get my smexy on and then move on to the next read. Many authors have come up with own their ways of doing these types of erotic stories. Ember Cole is a new-to-me author and with this read, I think she has a real handle on this genre.
We have the perfect set up for an exhibitionist, voyeur, role-playing people.
One is a very liberated woman who knows what she likes and has no shame in taking it. She is a neighbor to a man who keeps to himself. He is strong and built but has a large long scar which covers part of his chest and goes up to the side of his face. It isn't easy to look at so he has become comfortable remaining in the shadows. Both of their homes have back decks which are angled so that each is able to look into each home through lots of sliding glass doors.
She starts the teasing first. He is caught like a deer in headlights and cannot look away. At first, he thinks he needs to stay still so she won't know he is able to see her but then she looks straight at him and it becomes game on.

Show Off by Ember Cole is the story of Bianca and Aidan.
Aidan has a physical scar that has made him stay somewhat to him self and makes his attitude toward people somewhat harsh. But when Bianca moves into the building she doesn't seem to see the scar and it the total opposite of him and is attitude. The one thing that seems to bring them together is their physical attraction that they act on.
This was another quick hot read from Ms. Cole.

You should read this book if you are into Voyeurism and/or exhibitionism. You should also read it if you are looking to read some steamy M/M/F/M or just some hot M/F in general.
*I gave this book a 2 star rating not because it was necessarily bad but because it is just very...lacklustre.*
BUT, you must not read this book if you are looking for characters with depth, a plot line or even a satisfying romance.
This was an open ended romance that really had no dialogue or even normal interaction imo. But I did love how the book dove right in and got out of there just as fast. The book was extremely short and just 90% sex. I would’ve loved a little more plot and the characters were just so all over the place and not at all memorable. And we had such a vague ending before the epilogue that appeared out of nowhere...
Aidan was actually a sweet guy and that surprised me because my brain thought he would be all broody for some reason. All in all, a solid H. Not much more to say here... also, I love how open minded he is and our h’s descriptions as well 👌🏽

This is my second book from the author. It’s a relatively short book, that can be read in a couple of hours. Ember Cole definitely knows how to write some really hot scenes. The encounters between Aidan and Bianca are passion-filled and charged with sexual tension!
However, just the sex scenes weren’t enough for me. I wanted to see more connection between Aidan and Bianca. I felt the passion and the physical attraction but not the emotional one. The only scene that gave me that was when he told her about his scar, but it ended too soon.
The book is good, especially if you are looking for a hot read. I’ll be picking more of Ember Cole’s book in the future!!

Show off by Ember Cole is a very quick, steamy read!!! It’s about two neighbors, Aiden and Bianca, who are VERY into each other and enjoy showing each other how much while getting creative with it.
Aiden has a terrible jagged scar that starts on his cheek and goes all the way to his arm that is very scary. He has a soft heart and hates that it scares children even though it’s not really something he can hide.
Bianca moves in next door to be closer to her grandmother, and finds her neighbor to be very fond of her exhibitions. She enjoys a little more kink in the bedroom and Aiden is more than happy to oblige.
From having separate partners, while the other watches, to inviting others to join, it will definitely deliver the hot steamy goodness that we all love to read.

Woahh. I'm glad I decided to read another of Ember Cole's books, after reading, Seven Brothers and a Virgin I didn't know what would come of this one. It was exactly what it claimed to be... fast smutty reading. And it was super hot..
I loved the characters, but their relationship started out different and kinda unusual, imo. I kinda wish there was more to the build up of the relationship.

This book starts out hot from the very beginning. You meet the two main characters in Aiden who lives next door to a women named Bianca. He is attracted to her but has not gone next door to introduce himself yet. With a scar that he has on the side of his face he knows it turns people away. Now drinking a beer sitting on his deck he sees Bianca and her date in the throws sex and not being able to take his eyes away they end up making eye contact and he finishes watching. Weeks later he returns the voyeurism for her eyes. Later they meet and then the scenes become much hotter. All the while you are also given a story inside also, and one night he shares with her what happened to him that caused the scar. The relationship between them is hotter than hot and it also includes other people one time. All done in taste and the author makes the story work this is a very good book. but not when you already know that you want a relationship with her...
i thought that the FMMM scene is a at the beginning with one of them before they start things,maybe them watching it like they did with the other scenes before them getting together,but i can't accept it after and especially not with his best friends... nahhh...

Show off is a relatively quick read but filled with very hot moments. Aidan is used to being judged by his scar so he holds back from people. His new neighbor is not shy and really doesnt see his scar. Just one heck of a hot neighbor.
Bianca loves sex and Aidan brings her to do things she only dreams about. A week spent putting in shows for each other leads to some explosive encounters.
It's a great book and I seriously enjoyed it.

This was short-ish, fun, super hot, and fun to read.
Aiden and Bianca are neighbors who find that, while not knowing each other, they share something in common... a strong love of sex, watching, being watched, and all the fun that goes with that. The story was fun, the characters real and engaging, their connection palpable. It's a super hot read.

Can I just say HOT DAMN!!! Like OMG I need a shower or something. This book has seriously made my year so far in regards to sex. If you have even a bit of exhibitionism in you and role play...this is the book for you.

I’m a bit conflicted on how to review this book. It was exactly what it claimed to be... fast smutty reading. And it was super hot.. I definitely enjoyed that aspect of it. I couldn’t help but wonder though how much better this book would have been if it had been a full fleshed out novel. The premise of how Bianca and Aiden met was really unique and I would have loved to have seen all of that developing a little slower and see their relationship grow once together. It would have made for a fantastic unique book instead of one that will be unfortunately forgettable. Overall this book was good for what it was but could have been so much better.

My Thoughts: At its heart Show Off is a smut filled romance novel between a scarred architect and his neighbour, who happens to have a bit of a voyeurism kink. The novel is an very quick and engaging read that effortlessly balances plot with passion .
Sometimes with romance novels that feature a lot of erotic scenes, I find that they lack an emotional core. At no point in Show Off did I feel that story was sacrificed for the sexy scenes. Rather they worked together and fed into each other. There was enough content and character development present in the novel for me to feel connected and invested in Aidan and Bianca’s romance.
The characters were engaging as well, Bianca was a strong independent woman who at times was quite kooky and vulnerable. One memorable scene was her sudden urge for milkshakes 😛 In Show Off Bianca is often sexually in charge, she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid of her desires. However on the other hand she was sometimes emotionally vulnerable, she knows what she wants for her future but at times she questions her ability to find someone who will love and take her seriously.
Cue Aidan. Aidan comes off quite stoic and sometimes reserved, however when he interacts with Bianca he really came alive. The easy way in which he accepts all of Bianca was such a pleasure to read. The way he interacts with and meets Bianca’s grandmother had me smiling down into the book.
Show Off is not a book to be dismissed – it is a fun, emotional, and yes, sexy read ❤

Oh my goodness, this is one scorcher of a story, Bianca and Aiden are neighbours and are both attracted to each other through an act of exhibitionism, Bianca starts the teasing and he is only too happy to reciprocate. Enjoyable.

It was my first book by the author and definitely would love reading more of her stuff. It's a short read. Bianca and Aiden and both loveable character who knows how to sex right. A total panty wetter. Especially when Aiden's friends join the party. I wish I had a sexy neighbor like him move in next door. If you're looking for a yummy sexy read I highly recommend this book.
