MORE THAN MET THE EYE. The quest is over, the dust has settled, and everything has changed—forever. But before the fond farewells, before the parting of ways, before the unkept promises to stay in touch, there’s time—surely, there’s time—for one last drink...

Im going to go back and continue filling in my reviews later, but I just finished my reading go the whole series in order, as I had stopped reading for a time in later 2017 due to life and such.

Im very glad that I went back and reread this series and read how it completed.

I cried at the end. I don’t usually respond to media like that—but I did today. I walked outside with my dog and I looked up at the stars. I thought about how impermanent life is. How little I have forgiven others. How very little I have forgiven myself. And how transformers: more than meets the eye understood this.

The weights we place on ourselves. Expectation. Shame. Destruction. Self-destruction.

Are we ever good? I have spent so much of my life so certain that I was bad. Inherently bad, that’s why no one liked me. I had to go and prove it to the world and myself that I was worth anything.

I don’t usually like the hero speeches at the end of things. But the message is perfect: you are good enough. You are loved and worthy of love.

Thank you, James Roberts. It’s been a hell of a decade.

Y’all should really read the transformers comics.

Wow, that was actually all fairly tragic. And honestly, poor Rodimus. Ugh, Dratchet.

My only LL issue. And yet, it was great to be a self-contained finale. All Hail Megatron!
