SIN, a hot new standalone from New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Deborah Bladon.
West. That’s what he said his name was when I met him on the flight from New York City to Las Vegas. I was on my way to sin city for a bachelorette party. West had business there. He was wickedly handsome, demanding, and the intensity in his eyes melted me from the inside out. I left his hotel suite before he woke up because a one-night stand is just that. It’s one night of pleasure that doesn’t seep into the next day. At least that’s what it’s supposed to be if it doesn’t go completely wrong. I didn’t give him my real name. We never exchanged numbers. West didn’t need any of that to find me. All he had to do was look across a conference table in Manhattan two months later. Out of all the advertising agencies in the city, Jeremy Weston chooses the one my father owns to work on the campaign for the launch of his company’s latest product. I try to pretend I’m not the woman he spent a night with in Las Vegas, but my body betrays me. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays there. The sin of my past proves that.
Author’s Note: Although some characters from my previous books appear in SIN, you don’t have to read any of my other books to enjoy this swoon-worthy romance!
Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.
She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
You know what to expect reading one of this author's books. They are awesome. I feel that each character is right there in my head. I wanted to punch Mitchell. I wanted to gaze over to West on the plane. I felt emotions when we hear the secrets.
I also feel that the book finishes fast. You know you've invested a few hours in a book...the secrets are revealed and bang it wraps up and tidys up with an epilogue of a distant date. Maybe I'd needed some time to think about how quickly Linny recovered from her dad's reveal. That was a big reveal. Well, the book sure will be a favorite as well as this author!!!
Linny works hard every day to be next in line to run the family business when an old flame from a one-night stand shows up and can ruin everything. Except of course that doesn't happen. it doesn't even come close to happening. Instead misogyny takes over and isn't complelety address especially at the end of the book. I was very disappoint. The romance was okay but again, I feel like the conflict never really arose and therefore the couple didn't go through anything.
I loved this! West and Linny are two strangers that happen to be seated next to each other on a flight to Vegas. They hit it off and share one hot night together. Then two month later, fate intervenes when Jeremey Weston requires an advertising agency to promote his latest Vodka venture. Linny just so happens to be in the meeting and he is immediately entranced and cannot believe his luck that fate has bought them back together. However, Linny's father has a strict no fraternisation policy, but the heart wants what the heart wants, so Linny is not only battling with her feelings for West but also with her step brother who is vying for her father's attention to beat her into becoming the CEO when their father steps down.
There were the usual secrets and lies being kept and I loved seeing past characters make appearances, it always warms my heart to see past couples who got their HEA still madly in love. This was another beautiful love story and I am always a satisfied return reader with all books from this author. Another fantastic read. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
I love Deborah Bladon! Do you have an author that is your comfort author? An author that never disappoints. Ms Bladon is mine. I know I’m going to get a sexy read that’s not too heavy and leaves me with a huge smile on my face.
I loved that our heroine’s name is Lincoln. It was unique and intriguing. I wished we used her North she but unfortunately she goes by her nickname Linny. She is strong, independent, and works hard for her Dad’s marketing company.
Jeremy West is a driven entrepreneur. He’s hiding a secret that ends up being a beautiful secret he doesn’t share with many people.
These two have to overcome their blood families so they can build and create a family of their own.
Also...the previews for Lace and Thirst...(fans self).
A fabulous story! Libby meets West on a flight to Vegas. She is dressed in a tank top and a pink tutu. He is instantly taken with her and offers her an evening she won’t forget. But she is going to Vegas with her friends for a bachelorette party. But as her party winds down she finds herself at his door. It is a night to remember and she surely doesn’t expect to see him across the table at her work. Seems that Jeremy Weston just hired her fathers company to do his promotions. Which means she is in charge of his campaign. She tries to play it off that she isn’t his angel from Vegas. But that only goes so far because West wants her and he wants more than just one night. I highly recommend this author. Her stories are very enjoyable to read.
I've read several of Blackness books and fully intend to read more.....all of them before I die and she's still writing. I started Calvettis and read all of them, I've picked others here and there. I never seem to be able to finish one of her books without making sure I have two more at least coming up! Easy writing...at least it seems easy. I know it's not..great story, wonderful characters (except for Michael, I'd have punched him a dozen times) great family vibes! I've always loved Rocco and really love that he shows up in other books!!! Don't ever stop that blazing imagination!!
Deborah Bowden delivers all that's promised in the books title of Sin. The characters are relatable and you can't help but root for Linny and Jeremy as you get to know them and their families. This book has everything you would want in a good romantic novel. Characters you love and characters that you hate. Pick this book up and enjoy it on a cold fall night....it'll warm you heart and I know you will not want to put it down til you read every last word. Looking forward to Lace.
A really enjoyable read two people meet on a plane to Vegas she dressed in a tutu tank top and tiara on her way to a friends hen party he looking hot in a suit instant chemistry between them they meet up later for a one night stand. Neither can forget the other, they meet again purely by accident and try as they may they cannot leave each other alone. Linny and Jeremy both have skeletons in their pasts can they survive the truth is their love strong enough. Thoroughly enjoyable read.
I liked Weston. He did try to date after Vegas but he had no clue who or where Linny was. He did not sleep with anyone. I did not like how Linny went out with Roland. I know it was only two dates but she had met up with West after her first date with Roland. She had not been intimate with anyone either. I did not like her father or Mitchell. I really would have have liked to know that she outshined her old company.

As I have said in many reviews for this author - I love her books and characters. However, I can't help but feel Sin, Bare (& possibly Hush I still have to read) as shorter books are lacking the bold, gritty storylines I am used to. Particularly if you compare them to my favourites The Heat series or Tense. The ending was a bit lacklustre and felt rushed.
Deborah does it again. I cannot stop reading her books once I start. Jeremy and Linney are amazing characters. I went back in her inventory because I read Rocco’s story first so I love when the characters appear in her books. I know they are standalone novels but it helps if you read them all. She is an incredible author. I cannot wait to keep reading the rest of her books.
The story and characters are beautifully woven together and I love the subtle crossover from other Deborah Bladon books. Is this a standalone? Without a doubt, YES! There’s humor, sexy time, romance and a real connection between Linny and West.
Would I recommend this book? 100% yes! It will grab your attention and steal your heart.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! Only when the two people want to find each other, because it was so memorable they just want that feeling back again💓. Is it possible for West, to find Linny when neither knows the others name. Amazing story, loved it😍
Beautifully written second chance romance that stems from a One Night Stand in Vegas. The storyline flows easily and the main characters are genuine, caring souls who are so realistic, and likable. This is a standalone and I loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this s my honest review.
I adore all the writings of Deborah Bladon; they are always worth the wait! Sin was no exception and I think this is possibly my favorite so far! The story of Linny and Jeremy was so very good and it made me want more out of this series!
I could ot dtop reading...West and Lenny are a lovly couple a d ther love story..is a tru love..that will ary o for msny years...loved the book ..waiti g for the other to come
Events in the book weren't as described from the book blurb. It was entertaining and the characters intriguing. Great back stories to the main characters. Even though the heroine's father was a cad.
I loved Linny and Jeremy’s (West) story. I really like when the characters are carried over to the different books. Knowing Rocco is Jermey’s investor and friend is great. Also, having Ivy & Jax know Linny, reminded me of the story. Thank you Deborah for the great reads!!
Awesome love story between the two lovers in this story! Drama, Sexual and Challenging for their romantically involved woman who he wanted more of her, and he finally found her again and happiness with each other! Delish love story! ENJOY
But again disappointing in how the situation with Linny's father was handled. That and the mess with her brother should not have been glossed over. We got more info on the kids Jeremy raised, which wasn't such a big deal.
West and Linny are some of my favorite characters ever. The sparks were flying from their first meeting. West is seriously the best male character I’ve read about so far. He’s an absolute hero. Linny is passionate, determined and intelligent. She’s also a freaking angel.
What happens when it doesn't stay in Vegas, Libby and Weston happen, and they happen ooh so good. Though I don't like certain things like how she puts up with her father etc , on a grander scale those things aren't perturbing and the book is an entertainer.
Sin a a fun read not to serious and of course it's sexy as hell. Lanney is on her way to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party when she meets a very handsome man on the plane. West was on his way to Vegas for business and couldn't help the attraction to the sexy woman next to him. A one night stand in Vegas is not the worst thing that can happen if it stays in vegas, if it follows you home however things can get complicated.
Have just finished Sin it was brilliant, I couldn't put it down. My poor husband had to cook his own dinner. Now looking forward to more Deborah Bladon books.
Sin-fully-delicious!! May be one of my favorites by Deborah Bladon so far, and trust me, I've read them all! I loved the characters in this one and the storyline was fabulous.
I love this author!! This story was one I just could not put down. I love the weave in of characters from previous books. She has the best storylines!!
Another great book by Deborah Bladon. Really well written with a fun interesting story line. I didn't want to put my Kindle down. I definitely recommend this book.
