Oh. My. Gosh. Jake!

Jake’s story was everything I thought it would be and more. I love him, I love Marlee and I loved their story, wow.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

After finishing Close (the first book to this series) I knew immediately that I needed to read Jake‘s story Want and to say I’m happy I did would be an understatement.

Jake and Marlee have an interesting relationship throughout this book and it keeps you intrigued from the first page.

When Marlee needs help, needs a teacher Jake is there, he becomes her teacher and reading about this sexy teacher at work could damn well melt the panties off of a nun because seriously, Jake is so damn hot.

I absolutely love the chapters that happen to have Jake with one of his bro’s. I love seeing them interact, their teasing and their love it’s just amazing to witness. A brotherly love is mighty that’s for sure.

What I loved mostly about this book though is the passion Jake has for his music and the passion Marlee has for dance. Seeing them put in everything and give their all for the things they love is beautiful, I enjoyed that.

But now I just have to admit there were times where this book just made my blood boil and pissed me off mostly because I just wanted them together, I needed them together. I’m all for the HEA lol.

Kayti McGee did an amazing job with Jake Ryder’s book. I was so invested in his story that literally nothing else mattered. Jake captured my heart just like his brother did and I can’t wait to have Jonas there too.

Want is the second book in the Ryder Brothers series by Kayti McGee. This is the first book I've read by Kayti and it won't be my last. I love these brothers! They are funny and sexy and totally jerky to each other! It's so great! Jake is the brother who doesn't love performing. He loves writing music, composing and singing. He met Marlee, his best friend, on the set of one of his music videos. She was a fantastic dancer and he wanted to get to know her better. They became fast friends and now she lives with him in Hollywood. He has feelings for her, but she sees him just as a friend. He doesn’t want to ruin the friendship so he keeps his feelings to himself. Until she needs his help. She's a virgin and she needs a teacher. Jake wants to help her. So much. But it's not going to end well. And he'll be damned if she learns from some random stranger. This is where the fun begins! It's hilarious and sexy and hot! Marlee and Jake have crazy chemistry and it's all because they are best friends first. But what happens when Jake wants more? Will Marlee realize she wants him as more than a friend? I really enjoyed this story! Jake is sweet, sexy and alpha. Marlee is talented, beautiful and innocent but not stupid! They are perfect for each other. Looking forward to More!

Jake and Marlee are so perfect together!!! But of course there is always one person that doesn't see it.... In this case it's Marlee! And she doesn't even see how he really feels about her despite the fact that it's written all over him! 💙. The book was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 hot!!! The chemistry with these 2 is off the charts! This was a new to me author and I think I've found another one to love!!! Great couple. Great story. Just absolutely loved!!!

Jake wants to make sure his girl knows he has her back, “so what do you need me to do, Marlee?” he finally asks from between gritted teeth. “Cut off his balls and stuff them where his eyes used to be?” Marlee likes to keep her man on his toes, "hey, guess what?” she says. “Not only am I improving, I’m also not wearing underwear.” I immediately drop my tentacle." There are times Jake has to school his girl, "let me instruct you in another lesson. When a man asks if you’re sore, you tell him yes and why." I really liked this book, I loved Jake he just had one of those personalities that you like and vibe with right off.

OH, my heavens! I thought Nick was a god, but Jake just too it up a level!!
This book was so much more than I thought it was going to be. Jake is a true sweetheart and a man, who although he’s in love, doesn’t realize it or want it to be known, because the girl he’s fallen for is his bestie… and now, his roommate!
Marlee left her hometown and state to move to L.A in the hopes of becoming a star. She’s a dancer./actress and when Jake offers to let her stay with him, she jumps at the chance. Now, she’s been given the opportunity to star in a new show, and the producer wants to take her under his wing and mold her into that star she longs to be.
With his guidance, she’ll make it, but his contract comes with a few attachments, none of which she can fulfill, unless Jake agrees to help her.
She needs lessons… of a certain kind/
Jake wants to be her teacher… but he also wants to keep Marlee all to himself.
So, who is going to come out the winner?
The teacher or the student?
This was a hot, steamy and very sexy story. Jake talks the talks and OMG, does he walk the walk. There as some scenes in here that will genuinely melt your kindle, they are that HAWT!!
Jake will make you swoon, big time. He’s got it all, as does his brothers. I loved getting to see them all together but it was Jake and Marlee who ruled this story.Their passion for their work and each other shone brightly. I knew that Marlee was the girl for Jake, and there was one point I hoped she’d see the producer guy for what he really was, and in light of current affairs, it was even more important that she did.
Plus, Jake and Marlee two were meant for each other.
Will it all end well?
Grab your copy today and find out.

Kayti McGee is a new author to me but as soon as I saw she was writing the second book in the Ryder Brothers Series I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and I loved it so I certainly need to look at other books by this talented author.
Jake is the oldest Ryder brother and he meets Marlee while shooting a music video she is a beautiful talented dancer and the perfect mate for a musician problem is Jake wants more than friendship but it’s only when Marlee breaks up with her fiancé is the timing right for Jake to step in and do what all besties do help her pick up the pieces. Marlee’s self esteem hits an all time low and when she is offered a part in exchange for dating the producer she reaches out for Jake to help with one tiny problem she needs to lose her virginity and she needs to learn how to touch a man to ensure she keeps the part.......
Jake is the perfect teacher and his lessons show Marlee how to be oh so naughty but for who’s benefit are the lessons really for..........
A quick funny read with plenty of witty banter, characters with an instant attraction and sizzling chemistry make this the perfect read. Let’s be honest we have all fallen at some point or another for a member of a hot boy band we have all at some point had our bedroom walls covered in posters so it’s exciting to see where the third book about these brothers will take us. It’s great to see these authors doing something different not writing a book together but each writing their own story about one of the brothers and for me it’s working the stories flow and the continuity is there so all I’m going to say is if you love Rock Stars this is a series you will want to read.

Let me start my review off by saying that, despite the fact that I am rating this novel three stars - and I'll be getting to my reason why in a moment - Want has to be one of the cutest and most adorable reads that I have read this year, and that is thanks to the fact that I absolutely adored the way Kayti McGee showed me the friendship and love between ex-boyband member turned soloist rock star Jake Ryder, and actress on the rise Marlee Reed;

Friendship and love that had me devouring this story from page one.

Friendship and love that had me highlighting passages on almost every single page.

Friendship and love that made these characters' chemistry spark and ignite all the more.

But as much as I absolutely adored and craved those moments between Jake and Marlee - moments that're honestly just too cute for words, and moments my heart were racing for more of - I could not ignore the fact that I could not connect to, and therefor was not enjoying, the writing itself.

That was one of the most frustrating things for me, because I was enjoying the story and I was excited to see where it was going next, but the writing itself was stopping me from loving it. And it's because of that, and the fact that I felt like the pace of the story was moving too fast, making it so I felt like we would go from one scene to another without much warning, and conversations were then ended abruptly making a lot of scenes feel choppy, is why I'm rating this novel three stars.

But those are just my own issues, and it doesn't take away from the fact that the storyline is very unique and enjoyable, and that this book as a whole is a very entertaining read from beginning to end. I mean, this is a Hollywood romance - a friends-to-lovers one too - and I love Hollywood romances, and told in a dual POV, Want did not disappoint in delivering me all the things I love most about Hollywood romances, and all the things I love about friends-to-lovers romances too.

This is quite a quick read so you will fly through this novel, but all in all Want was good, and I was outright swooning and sighing and just falling in love with the love and respect both Jake and Marlee have for one another; it's a fun and flirty and a little bit of a cheesy read, but it's also hot and sexy, and it's a story I enjoyed from beginning to end, one with scenes that always brought a smile to my face and had me laughing out loud at the banter, the humour, and just the overall romance of it all.

But it does have to be said that, in my opinion, this book could've been better and more enjoyable if the writing had done it justice.

Jake.... Jake...... Jake....... is what i was saying through the whole book. I loved how he was confident but he wasn't an arse about his fame. He was your average guy doing a job. That is until he meets Marlee and they become roommates. Marlee is off limits because she is engaged but Jake still has feelings for her and tries to keep them in check until the opportunity is right. When the opportunity arises he jumps at the chance to be with Marlee.

Marlee is coming up in the business. She is new to all this and she needs help and the only person who can help her is Jake. Watching their friendship turn into a romance was so awesome because Marlee got to see what a great guy Jake is and all he could do for her and give her.

If you love friends to romance books this one is for you then. So go on and one click it on amazon you be disappointed!

I loved the first book in the series, the youngest Ryder Brother Nick and wow I loved him! This is the oldest brother Jake and i wanted to like this book, wasn't sure i could love him as much as Nick, but holy spitty cats, I LOVED IT and Jake !!!! yummity yumm !!!
Jake Ryder is something else, gorgeous, hot, as sexy as all get out !!! and he's out making his own music, a man that kinda keeps much to himself. During the making of a music video he meets Marlee, a dancer and wannabe actress. He's hook but she's Engaged!!
As life would have it they end up friends and Marlee rooming with Jake due to the breakup with said Fiance! Now Jake has his chance right?
Oh how i loved this sweet and hot sexy romance. How Marlee didn't see that Jake was head over heels for her i just don't know. The mans emotions were so obvious. But Marlee's mind was centered on making it as an actress and gets into a shady deal with an agent. Torn between her growing feelings for Jake and what she needs him to teach her to give her confidence made for a book you couldn't put down. Yep hold on tight and get on the rollercoaster for ride you don't want to stop. Trust me, the lessons!! yes the lessons she needs from Jake will leave you steaming under the collar !! I loved getting to know these characters, and really didn't want their story to end!! Cannot wait for the NEXT one !!

This was such a cute book. The boy band brother who has been trying to find his own way with a midwestern sweet and innocent girl trying to become a star in hollywood. This was one of those stories that grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it to the end. Enjoyable read for me! Can't wait for book 3.

Marlee: You’ll forget about me sooner than you think. Let me be someone else’s problem now.

Jake: I wanted to show her that she was enough, more than enough, but I was a fool to think I could do that. She never really wanted me.

This sums up theirs relationship to a T. Marlee and Jake were so freaking cute together but also so frustrating. The good kind of frustration and *fans herself* were so hot together. Who knew the whole teacher/student trope was so hot?!?! I guess I needed a good refresher course because these lessons were fire! <- See what I did there? *laughs maniacally* I had to, I know it’s not that funny but I crack myself up.

Marlee and Jake has an intense friends to lovers relationship that I loved to pieces. I ate it all up. I couldn’t stop reading. I worry so much about what people think of me when I stay in my car reading while my family shops. But I couldn’t stop. I needed Marlee to snap out of it and choose Jake. It was a tad bit predictable in that sense. I knew it was their story and she would eventually choose him but it was so fun until it happened. Poor Jake though, he suffered the most. I’m so glad these two got to finally be together. And again, it was so sexy while they figured it out.

Want is the second book in the Ryder Brothers series. This is Jake’s story and written by Kayti McGee. The first book, Close is written by Laurelin Paige, and the final book, More will be written by JD Hawkins. You can read each one as standalone but I do recommend reading them in order. The brothers’ banter throughout is hilarious.

It was love at first sight for Jake Ryder. Marlee didn’t care about his fame. She talked to him like he was a regular guy off the street. And after their first chat he was going to ask her out. Except she tosses a bomb at that idea when she excuses herself to take a call. From her fiancé. Friends it is. And they became good ones on the video set where they met.

Fast forward. The fiancé is now an ex and now Marlee is Jake’s new roommate. She needed to get out of Kansas City. The Missouri one. So she was now in LA living with her one time crush and ex-boy bander. Only in LA, right? Dreams really do come true. Only, they are strictly friends. That is until she needs his assistance with her new role. One that could make or break her as a dancer in Hollywood.

Damn. I liked Jake so much in Close and Want made me fall for him. He is not only sexy as sin but so sweet, protective, and funny. Marlee is hilarious too. She is also strong, talented, sexier than she even knows. I loved them together. Their chemistry. Their banter. Their connection. But, is it all enough? She really wants to make it in Hollywood. Can she have it all or will she have to choose?

Overall...it was a fast, fun, and sexy ride. The characters are lovable. I can’t wait for Jonas’ story. He has sooo avoided the love stick but it will be come swinging for him.

Quotes:

“I need your help,” I say. “And I didn’t want to talk about it in front of all of my childhood crushes.”

This is a crime. A girl like my roommate deserves to be worshiped. Twice daily, if possible.

“Think of it like a romance book. I know you steal mine.” Well that’s embarrassing.

Woah buddy. There’s a lot to unpack here. Because there’s absolutely nothing to unpack here because this book had absolutely no plot to speak of. And I’m annoyed and disappointed. Quite frankly, I only finished this book because it was pretty short and I skimmed the last 40% of it. And because I’m willing to give the third book in the series a shot, I felt like I needed to know what happened in this one.

When I read Close, I wasn’t totally sold on the book, but I found it to be a fun weekend read and liked all the surrounding characters and the world building that was done for the series, so I was looking forward to reading the subsequent books. But when I went to start this book, I realized it was written by a different author. I had never read anything by Kayti McGee, but I was willing to go along for the ride because I liked the groundwork laid for Jake (the male lead of this book) in the previous book and I was mildly invested in the world built and thought “how bad can it be?”

Bad. It could be really bad. This book felt like nothing but an excuse to write a book that was just every single sex scene imaginable. The basic premise is that Jake, former teenage heartthrob turned serious musician, makes friends with an engaged backup dancer who ends up living with him when she moves to LA. After Marlee and her fiancé break up, she and Jake still stay in the best friends zone, until Marlee confesses that she’s a virgin and asks Jake for sex lessons. And that’s it. That’s the story. And it doesn’t even start off at the beginning of their friendship, giving a good built up to the mutual attraction and tension between them. Nope. It gives a real quick gloss over of their history and basically starts with the sex proposition, the better to remove any illusion that there would be any sort of plot.

Right off the bat, the first thing I disliked was that of all the ways McGee could have set these two characters firmly in the friend zone to start, she chose to make Marlee engaged to a man and have their breakup be because the fiancé turned out to be gay. It just felt like the closested gay man from the midwest made for an easy villain, and I hated that. And then to add insult to injury, the reason Marlee turns to Jake for sex help is because she’s finally gotten a great opportunity to really make her career, but the sleazy Hollywood dude giving her the job also wants her to play his girlfriend and Marlee feels too inexperienced to do so. In a #metoo world, that just felt... inappropriate and gross. And then it just raised my hackles even more that they referenced the #metoo movement and Jake was the one to point out that it was inappropriate, but Marlee was totally okay with it because it made her feel empowered. In fact, she called her situation “#andalso” and “#plusthis”. Super gross. Because it’s okay for a man to dictate what’s going to make or break your career and convince you to sell your body to him if you have it in a contract and you’ve made the decision to allow it? Just, no. Today, in the real world we live in, this isn’t the sort of thing I want to read rationalizations for and have it be the foundation for a romantic relationship for other characters.

And all of this was topped off by less than stellar writing. Not only was the plot questionable at best, the writing (and editing, there were several noticeable typos) itself left something to be desired. We were constantly told rather than shown, especially when it came to their friendship. Laurelin Paige created an interesting and broad world in the first book in the series and all of that went out the window with this book. I often found the sentence structure to be clunky. On more than one occasion I found myself rereading sentences and paragraphs because the word choice didn’t flow and I was just confused as to what in the world was going on. And most disruptive of all to the reading process, the dialogue attributives were occasionally odd choices and weirdly placed within a sentence, requiring multiple read throughs to process.

Had this book been a standalone book, or the first in a series, I wouldn’t have been so disappointed. I would have just probably just not finished it, chalked it up to the category of “not my cup of tea”, and left it alone. But it wasn’t. It was the second book in a series and was a total departure from the first book, which left me blindsided and disappointed.

Sooo Sexxxy LOL Page Turner ... The Rhythm Between these Hollywood Couple is off the charts!!!

I love when a writer goes against trope. And WANT delivers. Rock God Smoldering Jake is smitten with his gorgeous sensual roommate Marlee from the first pages. Their mutual seduction is so unconventional, when I wasn't laughing I was swooning at the fantastic visual delights McGee conjured in my mind.

Jake and Marlee have this incredible connection. My favorite hook I think is how she wrote Jake's musicality mixed with Marlee's physicality. It was so unique and well drawn. I could see the scenes in my mind, and feel the attraction and mutual seduction between them. It was a tender and tenacious pairing.

Sexy times, bossy lover and a woman who knew what she WANTED.

Want had everything you want in an up all night romance. xo

That climax had everything and more. I love loved that she went there and put her own clever spin on the current Hollywood culture and the men in suits.

And finally, shout out to the vivid wit behind this image: "Sesame-Street-Goes-To-Burning-Man-But-With-Jazz" You have to read it. Jake's mind is a fun place.

I absolutely LOVED this book! This series so far has been dynamite and Kayti McGee has truly added fuel to the fire with Want! I think Jake might be my favorite - hot and humble. And Marlee is refreshing. These two fit perfectly together even though at times it wasn’t completely obvious....to them.

In line with the series, and keeping the momentum going, Want is definitely a page-turner and full of interesting and colorful characters. The dialogue and situations that Jake and Marlee are placed in are out of this world and utterly “en fuego”!

Kayti McGee added her own special flavor to this series and it is quite delicious and unique. Jake is special in his own right and Marlee proves to be right in-line with him. I am only too sad this book is over because these two have such chemistry; and reading about it was pleasure on every level.

Marlee and Jake are friends, and roommates. He's successful (known as one of the members of a boy ban with his brothers) and she is working her way into the business.

Marlee lands a big part...with a catch. And, she needs Jake to help her out, or one of the details of the contract is going to cause an issue.

And, as it always does, friends to lovers romances are full of heat, and attraction, and friendship. I loved how totally fond of another they were. They really want the best for one another, and don't want to allow bad things to happen to the other, or watch them get hurt.

I loved this aspect of it. I loved the connection and the attraction.

I did think the book resolved itself a little quickly. But, at the same time, I believed it.

I enjoyed this overall and I recommend it.

These brothers are the stuff dreams are made of...

Want is all about Jake and his bendy new friend. Yes, I said bendy. Think contract...yes, a naughty contract.
Teacher/student role play...
And a V-card.

The former boy band hunk makes friends with the dancer from his video. Falls for her awesomeness and fresh outlook on life. Too bad she has other plans.

Hot and sweet romance. This is a great friends to lovers romance. Jake is an excellent teacher and Marlee is a perfect student. Jake is super hot and swoony. Marlee is a believable small town girl. Really fun, terrific read.

A friend's to lovers romance.

I loved the first book in the series and was excited to learn there were 2 other sexy rock star brothers. Unfortunately, it fell short in a few things.

I think Marlee and me got off on the wrong foot or maybe we didn't?

Marlee moves to L.A and becomes Jakes flatmate, Marlee and Jake first met when she was a dancer on one of his videos, now Marlee is wanting to step up in her career and auditions for a part in a movie after moving in with Jake in L.A. Now this is were it becomes a clanger for me and I just can't feel any liking towards Marlee. Marlee can have the part but is also given an opportunity to be introduced to people who can make her a star if she becomes Richard Thurgoods pretend girlfriend and basically his whore. Richard is a man with connections in the industry.

Marlee is a virgin and asks Jake to break her in so to speak, and she will be experienced for Richard, she doesn't want to him to know she has no sexual experiences and wants to please him so she meets the obligations of the contract he gave her to sign.

Of course Jake agrees, he really likes Marlee and has hidden feelings for her, more than friendship.

If it wasn't for Marlee's potential contract with Richard and the fact she even considered pimping herself to get to her dream, I may have enjoyed the story more, I may have liked Marlee.

Jake is sweet, I loved him and the sex scenes were so hot!
WANT does lead to a result I was pleased with, I can't say hea because that is the shortest abrupt lead to a hea I've ever read.

Overall I like this author's writing, I didn't like the character's choices, I did love the first book so will definitely read the next book.

*4.5-5 Stars*

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

Want, is definitely the correct title for this book. I mean, holy moly, the intense lust between these two main characters, is off the charts. Actually, this whole book is mostly just a huge sex fest. But, with saying that, it didn't feel like a horrible smutty, sex for the sake of sex, book. This was well written and I adored Jake as our male hero.

I was smitten with him from the start, he's such a sweetheart. I appreciated the connection between he and Marlee, and whilst I didn't agree with her reasons for what she was doing, being set in Hollywood and LA, I could definitely understand why she felt the need for it.

Ladies, you're going to want to hold onto your panties for this one, because Jake Ryder is one hell of a sexy man, and this book is just H.O.T.

I definitely enjoyed this one, the only thing was that it seemed to culminate in its ending a little too fast and is why I'm rating it 4.5-5 Stars, rather than a straight out 5.

I'm really intrigued to see where the series goes, with the next book being about Jonas, based on a couple of things he said in this one.

Overall, I sped through this one, its sexy as all get out, and I definitely recommend. Can stand alone.

Want is book 2 the Ryder Brothers trilogy and features Jake and Marlee. The Ryder Brothers were a boy band and were really popular when they were together. Their band is no longer together, but two of the three brothers (Nick and Jake) have solo careers. This story is told in dual POVs. Jake initially met Marlee on the set of one of his videos when it was filming in Kansas City. She had been hired as a dancer, but eventually got the job to re-choreograph the dance numbers in Jake’s video. After that, Jake and Marlee stayed in contact, became friends, and she moved in with him when she decided to move to LA to pursue her dancing and acting career. Since Marlee moved in with Jake, they became BFFs and Jake had secretly fallen in love with Marlee (Marlee’s feelings for Jake are also more than friendship). Marlee gets offered a part in a show and is also offered the chance to do something else to further her career. As a result, she asks Jake to help her with losing her virginity and showing her the “ropes” sexually and socially in LA.

Initially, I read an ARC that was unedited. The lack of editing affected my enjoyment of the story. There were things that I really liked about the story, so I decided to wait until the final version was released to post my review. I did reread the book with KU. I’m glad I did, because the final version was significantly better than the ARC version and I was enjoyed Jake and Marlee’s story much more the second time. At the time that I read Want, I had not read the first book in the series (Close by Laurelin Paige) but that did not affect my enjoyment of this book. The MCs from the first book were mentioned (and Nick made a couple of appearances), but they did not have a significant role in Want. So, I didn’t feel like I had missed out on anything by not reading book 1 first. Want is a cute story that features some of my favorite tropes: rock star, friends-to-lovers, roommates, and loss of virginity. It is a low angst, quick read. I really enjoyed this book and the characters. There were several times that I giggled at the shenanigans and banter between the two MCs. I loved seeing the friendship between Jake and Marlee transition into a romantic relationship. The author touches on a serious issue as part of Marlee’s story, but I appreciated the fact that she did it in such a way as to allow Marlee to maintain her power in that situation. I think this was a really good read and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading rock star/friends-to-lovers/roommates romances.

Sooooooooooooooo, this book … hmmmmmm

Sometimes, it’s really hard to put into words why a book may or may not have worked for you. This is one of those times.

Okay, so when I read Close (Ryder Brothers #1), I was ridiculously happy with the everything about it. I could not wait to continue with the Ryder boys. I think maybe I went into this story with expectations I shouldn’t have had. But I did, even tho I shouldn’t have, and it took me a while to get into this book. The two authors have very different voices and techniques to their writing. So lesson learned (maybe), I’ll try not to do that again.

I’ve thought about the impact those expectations had on my like/dislike of this story and I can say with certainty that the only thing those expectations did was stop me from reading the book in one sitting. I did walk away from the book a few times, but when I finished, it didn’t come into play for my rating. With or without the expectations, I still had real issues.

I really loved the concept of the story-line, but the execution fell short for me. I was all over the whole let me teach you the ways of the bedroom world but I wasn’t okay with the reasons why Marlee was doing it. Had this book been written 5 or 10 years ago, I may not have cringed, but not today. Today is not the day for that nonsense to be in my romance fiction. It just isn’t something that belongs in any kind of fictional/comedic world. That’s just my opinion. SO, it took me out of the story and it was really hard to feel the romance. I read it, but I didn’t feel it. THAT is the main reason my rating is right down the middle on this one.

So, I’ll just leave you with this … the story is cute. Jake and Marlee are actually quite adorable, especially Jake. He pulled on my heartstrings more than a few times! *shrug*

Wow.. I am shocked. And I thought I have seen everything in book land. I have ZERO respect for a woman who’s going to sell herself for success. The female mc in this book is going to sign a contract with this famous actor to pretend (I use this term loosely)to be his girlfriend and to “please” him during the contract. So she asks the hero to break her in ( she’s a virgin 😫) so she won’t disappoint the famous actor in bed. I call this high end prostitution.
I am not sure she’s going ahead with the contract and I don’t care. Just for her to even consider this ( for money and success) makes me sick.

Jake one of the Ryder brothers has a roommate. Not just any roommate a fun loving beautiful Marlee Reed from Missouri. She is a dancer and wants to make it In LA as a dancer and actress. When needing help with a contract she was presented with she turns to Jake. She has had a crush on him since she was 13 and now are good friends with him. Will the lessons turn into something more? Will she need the contract after all or will she finally see who she really is and how talented? Book given to me by author.

Fun, flirty and sexy with some awesome one liners.
A quick and witty friends to lovers story about the second Ryder brother Jake and the ever playful and rambling Marlee. LA Rockstar meet the Mid West.
Great storyline to keep you turning the pages and get deeper involved with the relationship between Jake and Marlee. Lots of laughs and some series sizzle between these two that will have you just a little red faced.
My only downfall with book is the ending and no epilogue, other than that it’s a good read.
