I found a few of the books in this series on the shelf at the library and thought I'd give them a go.

There's so much marketability in this series: a girl who travels all over with her famous parents, a mystery to solve, reality TV-style cooking - and a recipe related to the book at the end.

The characters have food names (Sage Cookson and her father Basil?!), and it's all one big for-kids-who-cook adventure rolled into one.

I thought some of the editing was a little bit off, and I was a bit surprised by the first person, present tense approach, but I can see kids really getting into these.
