Amaya was smitten by Cameron the first time she laid eyes on him, but she knew she could never have a man like Cameron Owens. Forced to go on business trip with each other Amaya and Cameron both find themselves fighting feelings that are getting harder and harder to resist. The more Amaya hardens against Cameron the more he is drawn to her. Can Cameron soften Amaya’s heart? Will Amaya believe in love again or has the damage been done. Cameron is facing the biggest task of his life does he love a woman through her pain, even if it means opening wounds to his own pain or does he walk away with regrets? In this standalone you discover to love unconditionally is a difficult thing but true love is selfless and is inside of you.
This story is a great representation of true and unconditional love. The flow of the story was on point from beginning to end. The characters personas were depicted very well. I really thought there were certain reasons why things were happening in the story, but as I kept reading I understood the reasons, the seriousness and why things were the way they were. I never had an inkling what existed. I'm just glad Amaya found someone who loved her for her and vise versa for Cameron. Love prevailed once again letting me know absolutely how powerful love is and how it will continue to be for those who believe. I'm happy there were happily ever afters for Ericka and Tony, as well as Big Meek. Great Read! ReneeG 👍
Wow.. This book was really good. Now that’s what you call Real unconditional love. Poor Amaya had endured a lot. Cameron was in too deep with her and loved her so much. Even after finding out her secret he couldn’t lose her. Tyesha tried it with them by exposing Amaya out. But she really just helped her free herself. It was sad when Papa Otis died. I’m glad Amaya and Cameron got their happy ending.
This was a sweet romance, yet very boring. Besides the deep education regarding HIV and how you can get it, prevent it or tamed it, the best part was when Cam was being all badass alpha gangster romantic man. I love it... Amaya was cute but a little bit too soft for Cam, but at the end, all was fined and worked out. Several typos were there which kind of made on stumble a little bit but the HEA was awsome...
This was such a refreshing look at a romance between two people who are different as night and day,but ultimately the same.I love that we 're getting an inside look at this relationship and not about the business. I love you get an enjoyable experience that's real and you can relate. The subject matter in this story is a heavy subject but the writer handles it just beautifully. This is a really good story with a few typos but it doesn't take from the story.
Yes this book was sooooo good!!..Cameron was bae....he Loved her no matter what the circumstances were..he maned up..Mr Baxter was a cool dude & I'm glad tht he took Amaya n..Ericka was really a True friend from day one..Meek was his brother keeper!!..this was a good Stand alone ...the story line was on point.. Get Ya Copy Cause u Will Definitely Njoy this read..👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This book was so emotional. To know that you are living with so many secrets and so much pain it's hard to let people in. Amaya had a beautiful soul and Cameron came and nurtured her heart and soul. It wasn't easy but he did it. What a amazing Love Story. Bravo. Must read.
I loved this book you never know what someone has been thru in life. Cameron was the man in the streets until he wanted better for his self. He found love with Amaya. She had been struggling with what life did to her before she was even born. She was a shell within herself,he brought life into her. What and excellent read and a learning lesson.
I really enjoyed this story. It was touching in so many way. Amaya came out on top. She had been taken though the ringer. Cam came out on top too. Meek had me cthu. Good job educational while still holding your attention. Most people don't know nothing about aids/hiv.
OMG!! This was so good. This book had my heart like wow. This was truly a love story. Cameron and Amaya was made for each other. I feel like they saved one another. Cameron brought Amaya completely out of her shell l. I love Papa Otis. He was such a good man and very low key...lol... Sad he passed but at least he left Amaya in good hands.... Loved it!!
This was a good short story I am so happy for Cameron and Amaya and their happily ever after Amaya deserved it and Cam never gave up in her I gave this book 5 starts but the only dislike was Mr. Barker and Baxter it had me confused to which was his last name over all good job
I loved the storyline and I really enjoyed how the characters dealt with Amaya’s condition and became an amazing family. The grammar in the book at times could be frustrating because I spent some time trying to figure out what it was supposed to say. As the book continued the grammar was a lot better.
This was a good book that touched on a very misunderstood topic. Amaya was my shero. She overcame a lot growing up. She also had the love of Papa Otis, Ericka, and Cameron to bring her out of that dark hole. The book would’ve had five stars, but there were too many mistakes.
This story was heart warming. Amaya had gone through some much in her young life and she her grandfather, Mr. Otis came and rescued her. Her life took and turn for the better. Two brothers taking a similar loss and Mr. Otis set their lives on a different path. Who would have thought a meeting at a party, would have ended in such a beautiful way.
Man my emotions are all over the place. Papa Otis is the real MVP. Cameron and Amaya really needed each othef and the love theu shared was real. Two lost souls made into one. I liked the twist and turns. Editing could have been better.
Life lessons are often the hardest and most rewarding at times. Cameron thought Amaya how to let go of her inhibitions and live life and she thought him how to love unconditionally.......
I would have never thought that the secret that Anaya was keeping would have me in tears. I loved that way Cameron loved her in spite of. This book had me in real tears. Love it.
Omg... This was a beautiful love story. Loved how you brought awareness to the readers about HIV/AIDS. Will there a story with Meek? Wish we could got some more insight on his relationship.
I cried and I laughed. I’m emotional writing this review! This was a beautiful read and I’m glad I ran across this book. I was impacted by this author and look forward to reading more of her work! Candi B is definitely gifted, this book was so special! Amazing!
I cried. Poor Amaya Papa Otis was a cool dude. He scare when he got Amaya. Her mom did what she had to do. How did Tyesha know about Amaya. Meek didn't like at first but was all right in the End. Love this book
This book was everything. I enjoyed this book so much. To see a young lady break out of her shell for love but still try to run from love at sometime is so realistic. Best standalone I read in awhile.
I gave this book 5 stars because it's rear that you find Amaya's condition portrayed in a romance book... I applaud the author....There were a few typos but over all it was a nice read...
😭😭This book made me cry from being mad at first but by the middle of the books it was all tears of joy the way Cash loved Mya was breath taking she deserved every bit of the live he gave. Please read but have some tissues by you loved every page.
It is a beautiful love story. Not your ordinary urban fiction. I laughed and cried. If it weren't for the grammatical errors I would have given it 5 stars. Awesome read!
Papa was such a good man and loved Amaya and showed her everyday. I'm glad Amaya me Cameron and opened up to him. Meek was crazy but funny. Ericka was a great friend.
I thought this was a really good book I was surprised when I got to the middle of the book everything started to come together well written great story.
I enjoyed this novel amaya was so badly damaged that it was hard for Cameron to actually come in her heart and love her but once he did the rest was history
