Touya gathers a second batch of knights for his kingdom, deals with some additional guests from the realm of the gods and faces a battle with phrase. The real problem starts when all the people in a city in Sandora die and turn into crystal undead. The cause is unclear and worrisome, but it also pushed Sandora into an open conflict with those around it and only Touya can deal with it.

Much like previous volumes, it is a nice and entertaining slice-of-life with a slow burn plot in the background. The reason I am lowering the 3.5 stars of the series to 3 in this instance, is that I am not too happy with the cringe of Touya dealing with Sandora's king. The fact that all villains are ugly and/or fat is not new. Touya calling him names based on that fact is just cringe and felt a bit childish to be honest. If you don't mind that kind of 'humour', then you probably like the volume as much as the earlier ones.

Suspenseful

New threats and foreshadowing for future events keep thing interesting, though I wish Touya would be a little more assertive with his fiancees, but that is still part of his charm, looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Enjoyable

This series is fun and interesting to read. With that said. Defiantly worth reading but not many will do as I have. Started with volume five on Friday night and now starting volume twelve. What an enjoyable marathon.

good

I really don’t enjoy how the other country leaders keep relying on Touya to settle things for them. I also keep loving the fact the all of his 9 fiancés want to be in the battles with the phrase.

Touya takes out the Slave Kingdom of Sandora. More gods and goddesses come down and pass themselves off as his family. Finally, Touya finds an analog of coffee in his new world.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
