Drawn to You puts a bit of a spin on the MPreg/Shifter novels with the addition of the omega being a 'single dad'. I like this aspect of the story and it works well with the Alpha falling in love for the first time - it is an interesting dynamic and it's very sweet.
I'm still new to this genre and I'm still figuring it all out, but this is my 2nd Preston Walker novel and I must say I like his style. Not sure yet how the collaboration with Liam Kingsley affects anything, but I'm going to delve right in to another one to find out :). It's a good proportion of sex/action/romance/drama/humor and the pace is just right.
Also contributing to the success of this one for me is the wonderful narrator, Jack Calihan. Calihan's voice is perfect for this genre. Gruff and sexy for the Alpha, melodic and bright for the omega, he even does a good job with the children and female voices. I hope the authors use him again.

I received this audiobook at no-cost from Audiobookworm Promotions. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.
I have only listened to one other Preston Walker book prior to this so to say I am not an expert would be correct. This book had a lot of drama and a lot of angst within this book. The two main characters are completely opposite. One is straight laced and conservative and the other is all tatted up and quite. One they first meet a lie occurred. It was not the biggest however it was indicative of a major one to happen.
As the story progressed I like the relationship that happened with Jack and Dylan. The only issue that I had was the story seemed a bit rushed in come parts. It felt as though something happened only two days prior but in reality it occurred over months. I do not think the transitions where clear enough for me. The ending could have been cleaned up as well. It just seemed as though after the final big scene in the book everything was peachy keen. There was not a real resolution that occurred.
Jack Calihan is someone who I have never listened to narrate before. I do not know how I feel about his voice. His voice did not distract from the characters and it did not add to it as well. I would have to listen to something else that he has narrated to compare to see it his voice is neutral or if it is soothing.

3.5 stars. This could have been easily a 5 star read for me except for one huge glaring thing. Jack put Dylan, his daughter & his entire family in danger. A deadly danger. And I could not forgive him for that at all. When Dylan was telling him about his guilt, missed placed IMO, on the death of his husband & son, Dylan should immediately have told him that he was a possible carrier. Also, why wouldn't you have been checked to see if you were a carrier years ago. All this time you could have been infecting others. I also don't know if Dylan should have forgave him or not. If we take that away, I loved this story of two broken men finding love and a future together. I loved Dylan's big crazy family. He's daughter was too cute for words. I would have liked Oliver & Mark finding their mates but it doesn't appear that this is going to be a series.

I enjoyed this MM shifter mpreg romance. Jack and Dylan were characters that both made my heart ache. This book offers up a complex blend intense emotions, drama, steam, humor, sweetness and tender moments. What you start out thinking will be a fairly straightforward romance soon surprises you by taking some interesting turns that move things to a whole different level and you will be left wondering if this couple can survive the all the issues they are facing. I did have a few petty annoyances with the book but nothing that couldn't be let go fairly quickly. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job. He had a very enjoyable voice that was pleasant to listen to and I felt he did an excellent job of differentiating between the characters.

I liked this book more than I expect to going in. I could really sympathize with Dylan and everything he went through and while I could also sympathize with Jack, I couldn’t understand his stance of putting his head in the sand and hope everything turned out okay. Frankly, I didn’t blame Dylan for his reaction. It was a major thing what Jack did and shouldn’t be swept away as no big deal. I thought the twist at the end was a bit too much and a convenient way to get Dylan to forgive Jack. I think I would have liked the story more if they reconciled without it. Beware that the book could have used a good editor.

Audio book review. I’m not really into M/M stories but the narrator was great
This is a very strong story . First I heard from the authors . The narrator Jack Calihan is a loved voice I can listen to . What happens when Dylan is missing someone special. Dylan Always thinks of his daughter but he knows that being the Dylan can’t be with who he wants to be with. Dylan is hiding something also .
Jack works in a tattoo parlour, he and his mates each have a specialty. Even though Jack isn’t the Alpha everyone treats his as one . You need to get this and see what explosive of feelings happen when Jack and Dylan meet .
Jack performance was great. His voice is smooth and clear. He played all the characters great .

Dylan is a single dad, trying to be the best father he can to Josie while owning his own florist. He's got a large pack to help support him, but maybe it's time to start thinking of moving on beyond his deceased husband. When his brother urges him to have his wedding ring tattoo moved to his right hand, Dylan meets tattoo artist Jack, who is everything Dylan isn't. He's an alpha, he's fully covered in tats, he's easygoing and friendly, laid back and HOT.
Dylan has learned that life isn't always perfect, but you have to hold on to what you have when you have it because there are no guarantees. Is what they have enough to hold on to? Is it worth it?
I really did enjoy this book until the end. I gave it 4 stars because it totally held my interest, I loved both MC's and it was a good blend of different personalities, but not so different that there was no common ground. They absolutely fit. I didn't love the end. I won't spoil anything, but I found it to be rash and maybe not really in line with what I thought the characters would do, honestly.
A great read!

DRAWN TO YOU is a stand-alone Mpreg shifter romance about finding life again after unimaginable loss.
Both Dylan and Jack have endured tragic loss, and yet their lives couldn’t be more dissimilar. When chance brings them together, there is no denying the attraction between the two very different artists. I loved that they weren’t coy one another.
Dylan’s family and Jack’s small pack are each amazing in their own ways and I would love to find out more about them all. This could easily be expanded into a series by choosing a direction and putting furry feet to the ground.
I didn’t like that Jack, as an alpha, acted more like an Omega when it came to his health and the health of those around him. Major jerk points to him! Still, I understand the reason for it in relation to creating a story. Sometimes an author must be cruel to produce a work worth reading. Ripping our guts out in order to construct a masterpiece of beauty … or at least cuteness and reward.
This is the first book I have read from either of these authors. I hope it won’t be my last. They provide humor, love, sexy, family, and community in a wonderfully, deep and moving story.
Favorite line: Jack: “For the record, you’re all missing out. I could be bringing you the best hummus in Seattle thirty minutes from now.” “The thing is,” said Mark. “The best hummus in Seattle is still hummus.”
Note: I love hummus, but this had me giggling for a long time. This is exactly how my friends yank on each other and I loved it.
Narration: Jack Calihan has a rich baritone voice with a steady cadence, clarity, and good pronunciation. He is easy to listen to and I would definite pick up another book if he were the reader. It must have been fun for him to be reading a character with his own first name!
There were a couple of production errors – overlaps and drags. These should have been caught and corrected before release. There was also one instance where Adam was called Avery, and I don’t know if that was a written error or a blooper that wasn’t caught.

When Dylan and Jack meet, something completely unexpected and wondrous happens. The instantaneous attraction is strong & mutual, despite each having his own reasons for not starting something that could lead to a serious relationship. But they are experiencing happy moments for the first time in years. Too bad each is keeping a secret. One so big it had the chance to destroy all that he has so precariously built.

Strong Narrator, decent story (an audio review)
I read an Mpreg several years ago and wasn’t very impressed. The quality of the writing and the general premise weren’t that good. Several reviewers and readers whom I respect suggested I try again, so I did with this audiobook.
The premise for this book had far more going for it. A man with a broken heart who feels responsible for the death of his husband and mate. Another man who lost his entire family at a young age and has only a few left and they’ve bonded together, opening a tattoo shop. The reason for Dylan, the widower coming into the tattoo shop is sweet and sad, his reaction to Jack is cute. Dylan has a single daughter and belongs to a massive pack. Because of the death of his mate, his bond to them is very strong.
Jack has a big secret he’s hiding from Dylan and although it makes for a good story, it was a bit over-the-top. It was something that wound up being super simple to resolve but he put it off for most of the book. When he does finally act – which I wholly approved of – things went into the realm of even more over-the-top. I don’t want to go into details to ruin the surprise but be prepared to possibly question the realism even more than having wolf shifters.
The reason for the Mpreg part of the story also irked. But that is completely on me and my sensibilities. I’m sure many readers will find it sweet. To be clear, the Mpreg is not why I’ve given the book a lower score. It’s the requirement of suspension of disbelief and the irresponsibility of Jack that really niggled at me and it they were crucial points in the book.
The book was well-written, so I have no issues with that. Dylan’s daughter Josie was adorable, if a little mature. The narration was very good in the book. Jack Calihan is a new-to-me narrator and I won’t hesitate to pick up another book narrated by him.

Jack Hickam is Alpha of a pack of three. He’s probably the only vegan out there and his pack mates, who are like brothers to him, never miss the opportunity to tease him about it. He owns a tattoo shop and goes through the motions of life. After losing his entire pack to a plague he figures this is as good as life is going to get. Jack has a major case of survivor’s guilt. He feels as if he’s not worth much if a plague wouldn’t even take him. That all changes when Dylan Kapernit comes into his tattoo shop.
After much encouragement from his brother, Dylan decided to go to a tattoo shop to have his wedding tattoo removed from his left hand and moved to his right hand to honor his dead mate, Micah. Dylan never thought he’d be a widower and single father but he’s trying to manage the hand he was dealt. He keeps his grief to himself because he’s trying to be strong for his daughter.

I love these two authors either together or separate their stories have a deep place in my heart I enjoy them immensely. Jack own his shop called SeaTac Tat and when this omega came in Jack took him into the parlour but he had to be professional even though it was so hard. Dylan walked into the tattoo shop to get his tattoo on his married finger lasered off and when Jack started Dylan just burst into tears he told Jack that his mate had died so Jack put a new tattoo on his other hand. Dylan’s hormones were starting to go crazy while Jack was holding his hand and he didn’t want to embarrass himself. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but know there is so much more to this story to keep you entertained and turning the pages I loved every bit of this story it’s such an emotional story and I know you will love it just as much as I do. A fantastic story a 5 plus +++++ ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Jack and Dylan have an instant connection that leaves them both reeling, Jack because he felt he was not deserving of love - and Dylan because he thought that his one chance of love had already passed and been used up.
The connection that the two of them have with each other is deep and meaningful and full of love and powerful emotions. Their developing relationship is one that lets them heal and get past past hurts and failings. This relationship shows the two of them that second chances are real and that they are deserving of them, and that they are deserving of a true and deep connection with other people.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the romance between Jack and Dylan. Dylan's husband died and he is now raising their daughter Josie alone. Dylan owns a flower shop and when his brother suggests he get his wedding ring tattoo redone on his other hand, he goes to the tattoo parlor and meets Jack. Jack and Dylan connect over the new tattoo and have an emotional moment. Dylan is an omega and Jack is an alpha. Jack lost his pack when he was younger to a mysterious illness affecting werewolves and there is only him and two others, Oscar and Mark remaining. When Jack is very affected by Dylan's scent, he wishes he could see him again and a week later Dylan enters the shop. Jack asks Dylan out and they have an amazing time, they connect right away and each feels like it could be more. Things go well for the men until Jack learns the illness affecting werewolves is back and he doesn't know if he is a carrier or not and he could infect Dylan's whole pack. Jack gets scared and wants to distance himself, only Dylan has more to tell him. I loved this book. This was such an emotional read. I loved Dylan and Jack together. I thought they needed each other and they both healed each other. I love how Jack connected with Josie. I thought this book was amazing and loved it all. Great one.

This is a well written story dealing with past loss and learning to live again despite it. Dylan is a strong Omega who has lost his mate but still has his beautiful little girl Josie to take care and a business to run. I loved that he was shown to be able to take care of himself and not actually need a new Alpha in his life, rather he makes his own choice to want a new Alpha in his life and takes the steps needed to make that happen. Jack has his own past hurts he is dealing with but I was very disappointed in his actions, or should I say his lack of, when they first get together since he could have avoided the biggest problem in the book....that being said I can also see his viewpoint and why he was fearful and torn on what to do. These two authors do an excellent job each time they write together and this was no exception. As with any book that has angst in it I can always see from the outside how things could have been done differently but we all know that when you are personally in a situation it is completely different than looking from the outside in. The narrator did a great job with this book but did an amazing job with Jack's voice, I absolutely loved it when it was Jack's turn to talk. It was easy to differentiate between all of the characters which is very important in an audible book.

I received this as a free Audiobook. I didn't read a description before I started listening. Suffice it to say, I was completely unaware it was a shifter book with two males - one alpha and one omega, and it was a mpreg book.
I had never read a mpreg book before, so I was surprised when Dylan wasn't feeling well. I thought it was the wolf flu. Lol.
The story had a little too much angst for me. Both Jack and Dylan seemed sad and lonely. Even when they got together, that sense of sadness permeated throughout the book. I was glad they found each other, but I didn't pick up on any real chemistry or connection. I wanted to feel something about Jack and Dylan, but I didn't, just a neutral feeling.
The narration was ok. I have listened to Jack Calihan narrate before and he brought a lot to the story. A couple of times, I wasn't sure if it was Dylan talking or one of the guys in the shop. Jack had a very distinctive voice, but it didn't sound any different whether he was angry, sad, frustrated, happy, etc. The situation in this book seemed so dire. I am honestly not sure whether it was the writing, the narration, or a bit of both.
Josie, Dylan's daughter was the bright spot in the book. She just couldn't shine a big enough light to brighten this book.

I immediately loved Dylan. He was a kind, loving, strong, single-father with at grieving heart, loving family, and an intensity he didn't even know he possessed. At least that was until he needed it.
Jack well let me see. What did I like most about him beside the sacrifice he was willing to make. He was guarded in a since and he was vegan. That was one of the stranger things about him. He was conscious but not typical. He was strong, but not overpowering. He was himself.
I did enjoy this short step in to the world of mm romance and alpha and omega's.
Jack Calihan did a good job providing the contrast of two strong male in their own right and allowing you to visually see the difference like a movie in your head. The audio was clear, clean, and the quality was good.

Jack learns of Dylan;s daughter and has second thoughts because of the virus. He doesn;t know if anyone can get it just coming into contact with him. Life choices are hard but will love prevail.

Where to begin? This book captured my attention from the first page, and it was hard to stop reading. So much pain and sorrow for both Dylan and Jack, it is hard to not feel what their lives are and what they have been through. I guess great writing does that. It is time for Dylan to move on, only he is not sure how. Taking his brother's suggestion he goes to get his tattoo removed from his ring finger and put a new one on his right hand to remember. How can he forget? Dylan meets Jack, a tattoo artist and an alpha to Dylan's omega. The tattoo is done but both of them know there is something there. They are both so different yet they know the connection is there. Jack's secret may destroy it all, but he can hardly deal with it himself, how can he tell Dylan? It might be to late if he has already put Dylan and his family in danger. Loved this book and what a great HEA. Love and forgiveness and a life together.

So many tears were cried reading this book
I think I've become an emotional wreck!
But I loved every single second of it!
The way that Jack has bottled up all his survivors guilt, all his despair and all his heartache for so many years had me in tears. But what broke my heart was the way that he couldn't get Dylan to see just how much turmoil he was in and how much despair he felt when Dylan lashed out in his fear - that's what broke my heart.
What melted me into a big pile of marshmallow goo was Jolie - that little girl is adorable and she had this big tattooed alpha wrapped around her little finger - I can see them sitting down to have a teddy bears tea party and Jack wearing a tiara and drinking a proper cup of tea with his pinkie extended! That's how much she has him under her delicate paw!!!
The love felt in this book was amazing to read and it touched me so much. A beautifully written story about second second chances and the mistakes we make that can shatter our worlds

This is the first time that I have read these two authors and this joint effort was poignant and beautiful to me. Life isn't always easy and the path to true love may take a few hard knocks as Dylan and Jack learn first hand. Finding words to describe how this book made me feel is hard, I don't read mpregs or m/m love stories often because I am always uncomfortable with explicit descriptions but I didn't find that here as there was just enough to convey the act while guiding the imagination so that was another plus for me.
Overall I thought this was a beautiful story of two men finding one another when they need that connection most. Fate brought them together but accepting and trusting one another brought them a deep abiding love. So for all you mpreg fans out there this is a keeper and today is payday so I will try and buy it for my library.

The narration by Jack Calihan was so well done. He has a deep clear voice that is a dream to listen to.

This was my first book by Preston Walker & Liam Kingsley. I have read two MPreg books in the past and did not really enjoy them as there was a lack of actual storyline and It felt like there was a rush to meet the criteria for the genre instead of pacing the story. The same can not be said for Drawn to you. This book had a lot of drama and angst. I definitely pulled me in from the beginning. Without spoiling the ending I feel like it all worked out a bit too conveniently for my liking which was the only big complaint I have about the story.

This was a decent book. Jack and Dylan are completely opposite. I liked the progression of their relationship. Jack has a secret that really could have been dealt with much sooner if he didn't keep putting it off .
One of my biggest issues is I wasn't clear on the passage of time, i'd feel like something occurred within days but it was actually months. This was my first mpreg book and i'm still not quite sure how I feel about that.
Jack Calihan's narration was good. The characters didn't fully come to life for me but i liked his delivery.

Dylan and Jack, each fighting personal loneliness and a great sense of loss, meet and start to form a relationship that ends in their being mated, but along the way there are a lot of issues they have to overcome and forgive. Dylan, the omega and Jack, the alpha form a family bond with Josie, Dylan’s daughter, and Caleb the young pup born of their union, which is something neither of them thought they would ever have. The last chapter, by Jack is one of the most touching and heart felt parts of the book. It sums up so much of the book in that one great chapter. I would recommend this book as a great read.
