So after reading Reconstructing Me, I was really anticipating more from the Breakneck world. They have been through a lot. So I was really excited to be reading another book. 😁😉
Initially I was only expecting that this is more about Storm and ZZ which was clearly stated in the blurb. I am really glad that there’s more to it than that. 😊
There is so much potential in the Breakneck world that we can look forward to. I really love the suspense, you’ll never know what and when something will hit them. I love the growth of the h’s Winter, Storm, Piper, Tatiana and Jinx (I love how easy Jinx is 😛). We also have the Red Ladies Charter and the new brothers. (I’m just wondering what happened to Max, the one who’s handling all their money back in Seize Me🤔) Oh and Smokey 😉.
I also mentioned in my previews review that I was thinking why does the author always hit ZZ the most? Especially now with the bomb that Tatiana just revealed.
Anyhow, I am really looking forward to the continuation of the series, Please please don't let us wait too long😊

WOW WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! The world of Breakneck is about to enter the calm before the storm!!!!!
Crystal Spears came back writing with a vengeance with book 6, "Forgetting Me"! This is ZZ and Storm's story but also every old and new characters tale where even a dead characters returns causing a bit of a divide which started in book 5! Braxxon, the Prez is overwhelmed with major changes going on in Breakneck MC but that in turn is affecting everyone including the Red Ladies in various ways in the series.
This is one series I'm glad of the direction it is going but things are about to get bad... you can feel it! Poor Tea!
Storm to ZZ: “Shut it, ZZ,” Storm snaps. “You’re a grown ass man. Here’s a lesson you might’ve forgotten growing up. Just. Say. No.”

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.

This is the sixth book in the Breakneck MC series by Crystal Spears. This used to be one of my favorite MC series, well at least for the first four books. I waited patiently for over four years in between Discovering Me and Reconstructing Me and when I read the last one I was so annoyed at the resurrection of Lana (who I hate by the way) and all the bullshit that went with it. I feel like the author was taken over by pod people while she was MIA for four years because this book and the last one are nothing like her earlier work. I almost DNF’d this book a few times but I forced myself to finish it because I hate to be a quitter. I always liked Zig Zag in the other books and I loved him and Storm together. But in this book I think he was being a complete asshole to Storm. I understand feeling neglected and all because of having a new baby but it had only been FIVE WEEKS ! If Storm would’ve given birth to Miracle she wouldn’t have been cleared for sex until SIX WEEKS afterward. So in my opinion ZZ was being a selfish cocksucker who was totally unreasonable and a cry-baby. Then he acts like a fucking douchebag when Tatiana gets upset thinking they’re gonna split up. God forbid Tatiana is upset, who the fuck is she ? Grow up ! Reading this made me lose all respect for ZZ and Storm for kissing his dumb ass. The only person I did like in the last two books was Braxxon. Everyone was such a dick to him because of Lana and I felt horrible for him. He felt so guilty over what happened to her and probably would’ve done anything to help. Lana was the one in the wrong, not for faking her death but for not staying dead and disrupting everyone’s lives. Giving this misogynistic shit show of a book three stars was being incredibly generous and I don’t know if I’ll continue with the series.

I will have the worst book hang over and anxiety until the next book comes out. ZZ and Storm are my 2 favorite characters in the breakneck series. I can never get enough of them or the Breakneck brothers. This book follows in true Breakneck fashion with ongoing club drama and suspense. This book introduces a few new club members. I just love the little extra drama with Tea. Crystal Spears is back and her writing is better than ever!

That ending... oh I don’t know even how to process it. This book gave us everyone and continued the story in so many ways and again Crystal found her voice!

It's all hotting up again, life in Breakneck!
'You’ve started a life with men in an MC. You want red roses? Too bad. You got black roses.'
Maybe I needed to remember this. I'm sure I remembered ZZ being more understanding than he was. Actually making his woman feel guilty about loving her new baby. I did not like that. Maybe I put him on a pedestal? Well I knocked him off today and he has been replaced by Shadow!
This book has reinforced that I still hate Lana too!!!!
And then that ending. I nearly blubbed. Whilst I didn't like an element in this book I can't wait for the next, October 28th needs to come fast!

Ugh. I wish this had been longer!! I wish I could have seen certain moments and had more info. I cried and tried it hide it from my family after reading the very ending.
I did enjoy all of the moments with the club members and spouses. I want to know what’s up with Dizzy, and then Melody- Lyric’s twin. I need to know what Tea said or did to piss off Shadow. I need to know these secrets! And I need to know why the next book isn’t out yet. 😆
I will say- I only hates how ZZ was. Storm is a new mom!! I know how it goes with true first kid, and it has to be harder or different when you’ve adopted a child and trying to figure out momhood and the mother-child bond. I felt like ZZ was being a man child and unfair. He punished her for lack of attention/sex. I hated it! I hated how I felt like it changed him from the last book. Cause I don’t remember him being this way. I totally get his feelings of being neglected by a spouse, but it wasn’t on purposes!! Geez. She’s trying to find her balance and didn’t realize how it came off. But truly, I felt like ZZ was being a manchild wanting his lollipop licked and getting his rocks off but it not happening so he was a giant dickhead!

Omg! what a series.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best series that I have ever read. The characters and the plot are superb. The writing style is mature, and the editing is excellent.
Winter and Braxxton, Storm and ZZ, Pyro and Jinx, Shadow and Tatiano, and throw in Smokey and now the Pink Ladies, make this series unforgettable. I was on the edge of my seat so many times I’ve lost count. I have said, “no this can’t be happening, “as tears stream down my face because it did happen.
This is a gritty, intense, and hot series. They were unexpected twists that came out of the blue. Read every trigger warning because they’re all appropriate. And then read this series if you dare. It is only for the brave.

Did not see that coming!
This is a welcome edition to the Breakneck family and as always Ms Spears delivers the emotional roller-coaster ride we've all come to expect from her writting. Her stories are like coming home, like a warm cozy blanket that wraps you up in the lives and trials of the Breakneck family and just when you think all is right in their world, she rips that shit away from you and leaves you an emotional wreak at the sudden unexpected twist you just didn't see coming... Where ever this roller coaster is heading, I for one will be booking my place and strapped in till the very end xx

I don't know where to start but omg what a perfect novella!!! You get to see what is going on in the Breakneck world.... With the build up of what is to come, and see where everyone is at. Something major that I did not see coming ( towards the end) knocked me on my butt.

Gutted!!!
I am literally crying my eyes out as I write this review. The book surpasses anything I could have imagined. I loved how we get an update on all the characters, even the secondary. The end blew my mind since I thought it might have been going in the directions as many of the other O’Ladies. I was blown away and tears just kept coming. Now I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for Schooling Me to be released. Job well down by Crystal Spears, as always.

It took a coons age for Spears to give us Reconstruct Me and now in the blink of an eye, Forgetting Me. This book was in one word, fanfuckingtastic! It was more than a ZZ and Storm book. It highlighted all the Breakneck family. The high, lows and everything in between. Spears is setting the stage for major events. Relationships are going to be tested, lives are going to be changed, I'm sure. I am very excited for Schooling Me coming very soon. Getting ready. Happy Reading!!!

Crystal Spears I swear gets better everytime. Absolutely loved Forgetting Me. I cried , laughed and ahhhh from beginning to end. It's a shorter story but pacts a punch. Started this series a while back , read the books over and over and again.
I love this author,this series is the best. The characters feels so real. As if you 're there as the story unfolds.
Even though I started this series awhile back . It feels and reads like the stories all followed right along, no lag time between books.

Wow & wow again, tears lots of tears, tissue are needed, more for the last part of the book up until then Lana was missing me off, why arrrrr she just does , but everything comes out in this one as Braxx says in the end ... No more secrets it's all out & everyone knows what their up against . Very much looking forward to the next book.

Holy Fuck. That ending.....damn. This book has kept my love for the series alive. It was seriously wavering after the last one. I was really gonna call it and say i was done with the series, which I've done in the past but this book restarted all that and now October 28th is to far away even though its Oct 16th now.

I love the breakneck crew.. each story pulls you in wanting more.. although this is a short story it packs alot of story into it.. i lust know tea and shadows book is gonna be sad and brilliant.. amazing book. X

Whoa!! The things that happened in this book just blew my mind. I need to know more ASAP! I love the Breakneck family especially in dangerous and scary times. My poor heart couldn’t the take news about Tea; the reactions from ZZ, Storm, Berry, Braxxon and geez Shadow just made me tear up.

Love, love, loved it!! Crystal gave us insight to the lives of the characters we have come to love over the years in the novel. Some of it was cause to celebrate and some or it was cause to grab tissue for a good cry if your like me.

Great read!
Whew! That was fantastic. I loved getting to read so many POVs and seeing some of their troubles get ironed out. Man, the last part of the book with Tea had me crying till the end. Whew! That was hard and emotional. I can’t wait for the next book.
