When I was 6 and my sister was 7, we were abducted by a stranger. My world shattered in 1981. I was only 6 years old. This is the story of a little girl who was stolen…her peace, her innocence, her joy lost in the woods behind her apartment complex…And this is the story of what became of her. This is the story of finding out who Jesus is, and how He saves us again and again. This is a redemption story, but more importantly, this is a resurrection story. This is the story of my ashes made beautiful.

In Jackie's memoir we find a woman who sees Jesus in the smallest of things, the biggest moments and everything else in between. She's okay if you don't though... she knows it's all a part of the process. And she trusts that we use our own real life experiences to journey with God to fully loving ourselves, so we can fully love others, and REPEAT.
